Lyra's POV

No freaking way was he a death eater. Death eaters followed Voldemort and people who followed Voldemort were… I don't know. Not the happiest people around. Although it would explain his mood lately.

'Your joking right? I mean, thats big stuff.' Draco's face shattered. It looked like he was about to break down in tears.

'Why the hell would I joke about something like this? You have to believe me. Your the only one who will understand.' I stood speechless for a few moments, hundreds of thoughts running through my mind. Within seconds I had made up my mind. No matter how deep he was in this mess I would help him, would be there for him. Taking a deep breath I looked Draco right in the eyes.

'What happened to the boy that always wanted to be quidditch captain and always made school a living hell for Hufflepuffs?' I said with a bit of a laugh behind my words.

'He…he…' Draco took a step towards me and wrapped his arms around me burying his head into my shoulder. I gently put my own arms around him, surprised at his sudden action. When he untangled himself from me his eyes were red and puffy like he had been crying.

'He made a bad choice. Actually, a few bad choices and he's just hoping that his best friend will forgive him.' Smiling I put a hand on his shoulder.

'I'll always forgive you. Now, tell me everything.'

Draco's POV

I never thought I would be able to come clean about the last few months to anyone but I did and it felt great. The only thing I didn't tell Lyra was that I'm using her necklace to kill the headmaster. Not that she would ever find out. But of cause Snape had to wreck everything, yet again.

We were walking back to class and I saw him down the hall moments before we had rounded the corner. His eyes pierced into me, letting me know he was after me, so I tried to turn back but Lyra ran into me.

'What do you think your doing? We've missed enough class for one day.' She tried to get past me but I grabbed her by the shoulders instead.

'We can't leave. You can't leave.' She looked taken aback when I grasped her but covered her emotions with a smile.

'And what makes you think I'll stay?' I could hear Snape's steps approaching from around the corner. I had about ten seconds to try and make him walk past us.

'This.'

Eight seconds. I used my grip on her shoulders to push her against the wall. Her smile faltered but I didn't have time to rethink my decision.

Seven seconds. I moved my hands up her shoulders and pressed both thumbs into her neck, making her head tilt up. Her smile was gone now but it was too late to go back now.

Five seconds. Pressing me lips to hers I kept my thumbs in her neck and crept my other fingers to the back of her head to keep it in place.

Three seconds. The moment I thought she was going to bite my lip or something worse, Lyra's hands came to rest on my chest. A feeling of desire swept over me and I completely forgot to count the seconds. Pressing closer to her I put more force on her lips trying to get her to let me in. Realising that she wouldn't take the hint I let my tongue flick out to brush against her lip. Not able to move her hands up around me neck, her delicate hands slipped down to my stomach. Not able to stop it, an animalistic groan stumbled from between my lips. I felt Lyra's lips grin against mine and then they pressed back to mine again, silky smooth in a much better way than I ever could have imagined. I was about to give her all I had in me but all of a sudden she pulled back.

'I would rather not with Snape watching.'
