We are riding a huge magnet.

It took Felix only ten seconds after the voice from the speakers cut out to figure out what was about to happen to the jet. "Everybody," he backed out of the pilot quarters, "we need to make a plan, and fast."

The others followed him out to the couches as the Kwami and Quantic places their heads against the walls. "We can hear them," Chimma said, "all the akuma racing outside."

"Felix," Lyra put a hand on his arm, "what is Mr. Leva planning? I know the look in your eyes. You figured something out."

He nodded. "The jet has activated a magnetic pull that will guide us out of the storm and through the akuma. It has to be on target to something large enough to drag this much weight out of the sky. Something that will for sure bring us into Paris and not back outside the dome." He crossed his arms. "Any ideas?"

He had assumed the others would catch on as quickly as he did, but clearly the shock of diving in and being tossed around by akuma had them shaken. He glanced at Lyra, who was giving him an odd look.

"…You really have no idea where we can find a huge piece of metal in Paris, France?"

Had they not been trapped inside a storm of akuma, Felix may have enjoyed watching each of his friends catch on with wide eyes and dropped jaws. "No," Isra gasped, "you have to be mistaken." She slowly turned to Neo. "He would never send us careening towards the Eiffel Tower. There's too much of a risk!"

Neo sighed and shook his head. "It makes sense. With out vision of the storm outside zilch, how else can the jet safely make it into the city?"

Lyra and Larisse shared a knowing look, though the concern in their features did little to make Felix comforted. "Once we break out of the storm we need to get off this jet before it crashes into the tower."

Dawn and Bridgette wrapped their arms around Ben in horror until his face nearly went as blue as his eyes. "Crashes?!"

Mello and Sunne turned to their partners. "The akuma are beginning to quiet!"

"We have to prepare for when this thing clears the storm!" Lyra pointed from hero to hero. "Ben, Bridgette and I will get our backpacks from the back. Victor, Felix and Erasmus," she waited for the nod Larisse gave her, "will be in the pilot quarters. Keep an eye on the windows. Those metal plates are sure to come down once we get out of the akuma range."

Their teammates moved out as Larisse turned to her own. "Isra, I need you and Neo to locate the parachutes. Stephan, Tani and Dawn, you guys fill us up on any medical supplies you can find. I need space to do a check on the weapons below out feet."

"Hurry up," Gorry snapped, "because the akuma sounds are growing quieter! We could be out of the storm in a matter of minutes!"

The group moved fast, gathering whatever they were going to take out of the jet and opening the hatch that revealed multiple weapons. Felix stood beside Victor and Erasmus just inside the pilot quarters as Larisse surveyed the many tasers, crossbows and grenades.

We had all that underneath our feet?!

Ben, Bridgette and Lyra carried out the bags and placed them on the couches as Stephan, Dawn and Tani brought them first aid kits and stuffed the boxes inside. Isra and Neo called out about a shelf full of parachutes by the back entrance.

Erasmus frowned. "Why not have Grypas use her psychic abilities to lower the jet to the ground once we get out of the storm?"

"Oh," Victor gave him a high-five, "that could work! Why did our leaders not think of that…or," he smirked at Felix, "for that matter, our residential brain?"

Felix pointed at the controls. "We have no way of learning from Mr. Leva how to turn off any of the controls. Even if we do bring down the jet, it will continue on its path to the Eiffel Tower. So long as it keeps overhead, we can hopefully avoid the most casualties."

Erasmus and Victor nod. "Okay, so we have to let the jet crash into the tower…but how do you think HawkMoth will react?"

Felix snorted. "He can have a heart attack for all I care." When he saw the shock on their faces, his shoulders tensed. "I mean it! He is a criminal. Let him fear out arrival."

The boys shared a look of concern but said no more, instead turning to the windows as he did. It was almost time for the view to come back, the battering of the akuma outside growing slow and fading into the background.

Cheep, Gorry and Whipp flew into the room. "We are officially out!"

Everybody in the jet froze. There was a strange silence surrounding them. After a few seconds, one by one the windows were freed of their plating. The boys watched the front windows as the metal was removed.

"…Uh…uh," None of them knew what to say for a moment, leaving Victor to spit out, "guys, I need…we need…GET IN HERE!"

Taken off guard by his booming voice, Lyra led the others in around Felix. "What happened…" They all fell into painful silence. Even the Kwami and Quantic were frozen in fear.

…This…is…

He could not finish his thought. He could barely breath.

…No…no…no!

Le Paon stood atop the Agreste mansion as stared into the sky, ignoring everything around her. It was a strange sight, a flash of silver breaking through the akuma. She pulled her fan out and put it to her lips.

Her thin, smiling lips.

"My dear Felix," her voice was thick and cold, "how nice of you to show up as the next phase of my…," she glanced down at the mansion, "oh, I mean, our," she giggled, "plan."
