I take a seat in the back and watch the acts on stage. I am handed a glass of wine by creature and I clink glasses with him. Asia walks by me and sits behind me, followed by Morgan who sits beside her. "Red, please, Danielle" I hear him ask. I hear the wine being poured and watch Brianna finish her act and watch Murrugun take the stage.
I stand up and walk over to Danielle with my glass "refill, hun?" She asks and I shake my head.
"No thanks" i smile and lean against the counter and look out over the freakshow.
"You have an amazing business" I say to Danielle over my shoulder.
"Sweetie," she starts and comes around the counter to stand beside me. "We're a family. Not just a business" I nod and look over at Ali and Matt.
"Look how cute Asia and Morgue are" Danielle smiles and points them out to me.
I look over at them and see their fingers entertwined and see Asia rest her head on his shoulder.
"They make a lovely couple" I say and grin at her.
A camera rolls by me as I say that and I watch Todd close the show.
I watch Morgan and Asia and they continue to sit like that even after pepple start filtering out.
I help Danielle clean around the jars and make small talk with Brianna.
"Morgan." i say after a few minutes and he sits up straighter, Asia still holding his hand.
"Hey Beth" he smiles at me and she holds a protective grip over him.
"Thanks for yesterday. And it's been great, seeing you again. You're doing great here." I smile and his face falls. I notice the camera beside me and continue.
"Asia, your family business is great. You're a pleasure to watch perform" She nods her head in thanks.
"Morgan-Morgue. Thank you for everything." I smile and lift my swordcase. "I'll get my other bag tomorrow. You two have a good night" I smile and Morgan goes to dispute, but looks at the camera and nods.
"I'll see you tomorrow then." He nods and I wave goodbye and walk outside.
I sling my bag on my back and switch my phone off. I find a corner in an alleyway and lie down, closing my eyes.
