Chapter 10 new trouble
Xion was sitting in her chair next to Roxas in the organization club room sighing well listening to Xemnas talk.
'I'm sure some of you know this already but our club manager Saix has booked us a gig tomorrow, but the problem with this is that our singer Demyx threw out his voice screaming out in to the sky for some idiotic reason." Xemnas sighed.
"So what are we going to so canal he gig?" Xigbar asked.
"We can't we have already given our word that we would be there, but thanks to this fool, we need someone else to sing.' Saix said in a cold tone.
'I'll just have to do it!" Larxene suggested but the room went quiet like everyone was telling her no." What is wrong with me signing?" Larxene asked glaring at everyone.
'We don't want everyone to run away screaming. Axel said in teasing voice.
"I say we make Xion do it." Marluxia suggested.
"Why make me do it Marluxia!" Xion cried not wanting to.
"I saw her at the mall yesterday, the girl can sing like a bird." Marluxia smiled.
'Why me and how do you know I can sing!" Xion cried.
"I watched you do it at the mall the other day.' The pink haired man replied.
'Plus you are staring in that movie, so having you as the lead singer would draw a bigger crowed?' Xemnas smirked.
"I refuse this worthless thing has no place singing!" Saix said in a cold tone.
"For once I agree with Saix... wow there is something I thought I'd never say." Xion said.
"Don't call her worthless unless you want me to break your nose again!" Roxas yelled.
"Just try it boy and see if I don't rip your arm off!" Saix warned.
"Hey why not calm down before someone loses it?" Axel said trying to calm down the possibly throw down.
'Or we could place some bets." Larxene joked.
"My money is on Saix." Xigbar smiled.
"My money is on the kid!" Demyex said with barely a sound coming out of his mouth.
"Fine we will put this to a vote, anyone who wants Xion to sing raise your hand, and anyone who wants to live to see tomorrow please raise your hand." Xemnas smiled watching everyone freak and agree with Xemnas.
"Roxas!" Xion cried because he was raising his hand.
"Sorry Xion but I have plans this weekend so I kind of need to stay alive till then." Roxas laughed.
Xion wanting to live to raised her hand.
'I'm glad that is deiced, now Roxas and Zion I will have Axel bring you to the where the gig is tomorrow." Xemnas said watching the two kids get up and leave.
"Now how are our real plans progressing have the targets been eliminated?" Xemnas asked referring to Kairi Namine Sora and Riku.
'No Roxas saved Namine from the duelblade, Sora and Riku defeated the other heartless, and Xion saved Kairi from the grim reaper." Saix finished explaining watching Xemnas folds his hands on the table.
'It seems Roxas and Xion will be harder to control than I first believed, we have to think of a way to distract them, and so they won't be able to help their friends." Xemnas explained.
"Even know the heartless failed to destroy the target, the other target is in our sights." Saix replied.
"And who is that?" Axel asked in a bored tone.
"That is none of your business Axel!" Saix said in a cold tone.
'Whatever I am going to buy a soda have a nice nap, I mean meeting." Axel smiled heading out of the club room.
It was the next day and Xion and Roxas along with the rest of the organization members were getting ready for their performance well Xion's legs were shaking well peeking out from the current seeing the hundreds of people out there." Roxas I can't do this!" Xion cried.
"Don't worry Xion you are going to do great!" Roxas encouraged.
'Shut up all you have to do is play the base!" Xion reminded him.
'Yeah and all you have to sing." Roxas replied chuckling.
'Xion what is really bugging you?' Axel asked in his usually cheerful tone.
"Nothing is bothering me Axel!" Xion spoke in anger turning her away.
'It's not good to lie to your friend, just trust us, what's wrong?" Axel asked again instead of having Xion bite his head off she just sighed.
'Today's ago I was really upset when Aqua slapped me, so I told her I wished she wasn't my sister." Xion said looking away excepting them both to look at her like she was a heartless.
"Xion calm down will ay, you were just hurt when you said that don't let that mistake define who you are." Axel said taking something series for once in his life.
'What should I do she won't even talk to me now every time I see her... she keeps ignoring me and walks away." Xion explained.
'Ok we need a plan, what if Axel or I talked to her!" Roxas suggested.
'Yeah than we can just tie her up and lock them both in a closet till they work out there problems!" Axel said in a sarcastic tone.
'Yeah could help!" Roxas agreed but was hit over the head by Axel' never do that in real life it only works in anime or manga, do it anywhere else and you just get arrested!" Axel warned him.
'Ok I get it you don't have to hit me Axel!" Roxas replied rubbing the new mark on his head.
Xion started laughing well she watched Axel and Roxas arguing.
'You three talk on your own time, get ready now!" Saix ordered.
'Why did we make him the manager again?' Roxas asked in an annoyed tone.
"Because he's better at barking orders than any human, or dog I have ever met?" Axel replied.
Everyone was ready to start, but after the curtain went up Xion felt her heart start running a mile a second trying to start singing but couldn't get away words out of her mouth.
Everyone started whispering to each other wondering what was wrong. Roxas who couldn't watch this started playing the base and to next to Xion starting to sing the song simple and clean.
Xion got a grip on herself and joined Roxas feeling a lot more conferrable with it not being just her singing.
After song was over everyone started cheering and clapping to everyone.
Roxas and Xion smiled waving to everyone like they just had the time of their lives.
'You to makes a cute copal!" one of the girls from the audience shouted.
"We are not a copal!" Both Roxas and Xion screamed together.
It was the next day and all the students had been called to the gymnasium for an assembly.
"It would seem that some of the students here have broken the rules I set and went to the old dorm behind the school, and stolen something inside." Yen sid said in a cold tone.
Once the man spoke those words Xion Roxas Sora Riku and Kairi's eyes all shot open in fear knowing he probably meant the balls of light that went inside there body's.
'But I am willing to allow this to pass by, if the students that violated this rule come forth and return what they took." Yen sid explained hoping whoever it was would step forward but non did, the man sighed but dismissed everyone.
"Um sir what was the point of doing this, we still have no idea who took the drives, and not like this was really going to get them to admit it?" Mickey asked.
"What I did was eliminate the fear of the consequences for their actions, with that fear removed there is a much greater chance they will come seeking help." Yen sid explained.
Xion Roxas Sora and Riku were all outside yelling at Kairi." Are you nuts if we tell Yen sid about us going to the dorm we are dead mate!" Riku stated.
'Come on we need help, all of us having crazy dreams heartless attacks keyblades and Xion turning in to a cheerleader, none of this stuff happened to us until we went in that dorm maybe Yen sid can help us!" Kairi said with a brave face.
"Let's talk about this later ok." Sora sighed.
"I agree with Sora, I have to go find Aqua and apologize for last night." Xion said in a sad tone.
'Yeah you both had a few days to calm down, maybe she will listen to you now." Riku guessed.
'Yeah so I got to run!" Xion said heading for the girls dorm guessing that is where Aqua would be since everyone was going back to what they were before Yen sid call everyone.
The girl noticed Aqua was walking to the dorm like she guessed catching up to her' Wait Aqua please!" Xion cried getting in front of her, but Aqua stood there in silents.
"Yes Xion what do you want?' Aqua asked.
'I'm so sorry I was horrible to you last... I should have never of said what I did!" Xion cried.
Aqua walked past her. Xion turned and saw her standing next to a boy from the organization club she was in Luxord." Don't even worry about it Xion." Aqua smiled well Luxord kissed her on the cheek.
'What do you think you're doing with my sister?!" Xion shouted.
'She's my date." Luxord smiled.
'What... when did you ask Aqua out on a date?!" Xion cried.
'About three days ago." Luxord replied.
"That doesn't make any sense I hurt her three days ago and you take advantage of her when she was like that!" Xion shouted.
'Xion be quiet!" Aqua said glaring at her.
'But Aqua, I don't understand, you told before you, you only liked Terra!" Xion cried.
'Xion just stay out of my life, you made it perfectly clear how you feel about me caring about you!" Aqua screamed.
'Aqua I'm sorry ok, if you're trying to punish me for what I said I get it I won't ever say it again but this joke has gone too far, so just stop it please!" Xion begged but she was punched in the stomach well she dropped to her knees griping her hut falling down.
"I said to get away from me, I never want to see you again Xion! Maybe Kairi will want to be your sister; I don't care what you do just never come near me again!" Aqua spoke like she hated her walking away with her new boyfriend.
Xion who was still recovering from her sister's punch started tearing up from what Aqua said to her.
Xion was sitting in the nurse office with her shirt off well Minnie Mouse was looking at her stomach." Xion let me ask you again just to make sure I understand... you were in your room playing on your desktop when you fell over and hit your stomach on a jar of makeup that your roommate left out?" Minnie asked believing it sounded like she was hiding something.
'Yeah that's what happened." Xion said looking away from Minnie not wanting to tell her the truth.
'Xion I don't like it when people lie to me, judging from the mark on your tummy, it looks like someone punched you as hard as they could." Minnie said in a censored tone.
'No one hit me, just let it go Minnie!" Xion screamed trying to keep herself from crying anymore than she already had.
'Alright Xion... I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I won't you to talk to the counselor if when you feel like talking ok?' Minnie asked.
"I won't need to." Xion replied getting up to leave when Minnie speak.
'Xion, you seem like a good girl, don't try and bottle up your feelings it won't end well trust me." Minnie said letting her go.
"I'll be ok." Xion replied leaving.
Meanwhile Roxas Sora Riku were all in the girls dorm playing a video game.
"So boys why is it your hanging out here instead of your own dorm?" the woman in charge of the girls dorm asked.
'It's nicer here, you are a nice person and make really good cookies and our dorm advisers is really scary and pretty sure he puts poison in his cookies." Sora replied.
'So what are you kids playing?' She asked.
'A war battle games where we each get an army and fight to the last army standing is the winner." Roxas replied.
"How long will it take?" She asked since she wanted to watch TV.'
"A few hours maybe or so?" Riku answered.
'I'm going to my room to watch some TV then don't break anything boys." The dorm adviser said leaving the room.
"Alright time to start war!" The three boys shouted grabbing a controller and started their war.
"Hey guys how do you think Xion's talk with Aqua went?" Riku wondered.
'I bet those two are back to being best friends and getting something to eat." Sora suggested.
'Yeah Aqua has always been nice, she used to help me with my homework back when I was in jr high." Roxas reminded everyone.
'Yeah and when I really wanted a new manga she gave me the three bucks I needed." Sora smiled
"Yeah she is nice so I am sure they made up." Riku said well the three boys killing zombies with their armies.
Xion left the school to clear her head sitting in a restraint sighing well looking through the menu.
'What can I get for you young lady?" A waitress asked smiling.
'I'll just have a small pizza and a soda please." Xion said politely.
'Coming right now!" the woman smiled leaving the waitress forgot the menu, Xion just left it alone. Well the girl was waiting she could hear people speaking that sounded like people she knew from the organization.
'So Luxord, how are thing proceeding?" Vexen asked with a smile on his face.
'Thing's couldn't be going better by tomorrow night I should have all the information I need out of Aqua, and then you can just get rid of her.' Luxord replied.
"What are they talking about, get rid of her, what' going on what are they talking about?' Xion trying her best to stay calm investigating there plan.
"It was so easy, all I had to do some comfort her a bit and she was willing to go out with me." Luxord started chuckling.
'Well it wasn't just you, with the magic potation running through her system makes her so easy to control." Vexen chuckled.
'That's why Aqua hit me, she isn't herself, and it's my fault, I have to get out of here and warn Aqua." Xion said with fear behind her voice knowing if they caught her it was over.
"Sorry to keep you waiting." The waitress apologized handing sitting the pizza down.
"Thanks but I lost my appetite, you can just take it back." Xion said getting up but was forced back down.
'Young lady this restraint has rules and for one if you order something you are going to eat it understand?' The woman asked.
'Yes ma'am." Xion said a little scared now.
'Good, I'm sorry young lady but lots of people like to waste good food that is why the manager makes these rules."She explained.
"I understand." Xion replied knowing that arguing would just waste more time.
After making sure to clean her plate the waitress lets her pay and leave but the girl waited for the two to leave first.
Kairi was standing outside the school sighing trying to deice what the right thing to do was about this whole craziness with the keyblades and everything else that has been going on lately for them.
'Hey Kairi something bother you?" Mickey smiled walking up to her.
'Oh hi there Mickey and I'm ok." Kairi replied lying to the mouse.
"Ok, do you mind if I ask you a few things?' Mickey said in his usually cheerful voice.
"What do you want to know?' Kairi replied.
"What do you think the kids who broke in to the old dorm, do you think they deserve to be punished?" Mickey asked.
'Not really, maybe they were just a bunch of kid that made a bad decision." Kairi said nervously.
"Maybe you're right, Yen sid did say he would let it pass if they came forth, so do you have any idea who the five people that went in are?' Mickey asked.
'H. How do you know five people went in?' Kairi asked starting to stutters.
'That was just a guess, but on another subject have you had any strange dreams lately?' Mickey asked.
'Mickey what are you talking about?' Kairi said with a bit of fear behind her voice.
"Kairi, listen to me this is something you need to know, you can trust Yen Sid he only wants to help the students here." Mickey reinsured her.
'I know, he is a good person." Kairi said making a fake smile.
'Alrighty than I guess I'll see you later!" Mickey smiled walking off.
'Does Mickey know we went in to the dorm no that is crazy no one saw us?" Kairi wondering going back to the girls dorm thinking this over.
Xion was running down the street as fast as she could until she got to the police station panting like crazy running inside.
'Hey are you ok?" Li Shang asked seeing the poor girl out of breath.
"I really need help; please my sister is in a lot of trouble!" Xion cried.
"What's going on?" Li Shang asked the child.
"My sister is dating this guy but I overheard him talking to this other guy in a cafe about getting rid of her!" Xion replied trying to catch her breath.
"You're sure you heard them correctly?' Li Shang asked.
'I know I did Aqua is in a lot of danger!" Xion shouted.
"Lower your voice, I understand that you are afraid and worried, but I can't just have my men go and break someone's door down simple because you think there is a problem they could have been talking about getting rid of something she owned, so please don't just come barging in here this way." The man said in a cold tone treating her like a child.
The girl left without much more of a fight knowing how pointless it was heading down the street now.
"You're not going to get much help from those guys, without proof they won't do anything." Leon replied.
'Who are you?" Xion asked keeping her guard up.
"Chill out the names Leon I'm a dedicative." Leon replied.
'What do you want with me?' Xion asked.
"Why don't we talk for a while my car has AC" Leon said leading the girl over to his car.
'What do you want from me am I under arrest or something?" Xion asked.
"Nah I just needed to talk to you, you told those idiots in there that they plan to get rid of your sister Aqua right?' Leon asked.
"Yeah you think I'm crazy to don't you?' Xion asked.
'Not at all, I think you might be on to something, here is my card call me if you learn anything new ok kid." Leon handing the young girl the card before letting her go.
"Will you help me stop them from hurting my sister?" Xion asked.
'I can't, without proof it just be me acting on a gut feeling, but if you can figure out where and when their plan is going to be then I can act." Leon explained.
'I got it Leon thank you." Xion smiled.
'I'll give you a ride back to your school." Leon offered.
Nah its fine I can walk, it will probably be better for me anyway.
"Sorry but the answer is no it's getting soon dark kid so I'm driving you
Roxas was sighing and walking out of the girl's dorm" yeah that was fair join force and wipes me out." Roxas said in a pouty tone seeing his friend Xion getting out of a car.
"What's going on over there?" Roxas wondered seeing Leon drive away leaving Xion.
"Oh hey Roxas" Xion said.
'Who was that guy you were with?' the boy asked.
'No one just gave me a ride back to school." Xion partly lied.
"Ok... How are you and Aqua doing, better now?' Roxas asked.
"Just fine we so tight I couldn't get her to let go." Xion replied making a fake smile.
"Well that's great I guess it all blew over." Roxas cheered.
"Yeah but I should probably hit the hay." Xion yawned heading in the girls dorm.
"But Xion it's almost sunset we always eat ice cream with Axel remember?" Roxas reminded her.
'Sorry I'm just really tiered I'll be there tomorrow I promise!" Xion said rushing in to the dorm before Roxas could reply.
'Ok I guess if she is that busy ill go alone." Roxas said to himself heading to the clock tower seeing Axel at the top already in his seat.
"Hey Roxas you're late... where's Xion?' Axel asked.
'She was busy so she couldn't make it tonight." Roxas answered sitting down.
"What's she doing?" Axel asked more series than before.
"No clue why do you care much?" Roxas replied.
"Nah I'm sure it's fine, I bet the lazy kid is just taking a nap." Axel smirked .
"Yeah I bet." Roxas laughed.
"But I got to go Roxas see you tomorrow." Axel said walking away.
"Hey wait why are you going so soon?" Roxas cried.
"I already hate my ice cream bar since you were so late, plus Saix dumps so many of the clubs jobs on me he might as well just drop a cow on me." Axel laughed.
"Ok later Axel!" Roxas said watching his pal take his leave." Maybe I should go check on Xion." Roxas said getting up heading for the girls dorm knocking on her door but Kairi was the one who answered.
'Oh hey Roxas better go soon its ten minutes till curfew." Kairi warned him.
'Yeah good idea I was just wondering if Xion is ok?" Roxas asked.
'What are you talking about she is hanging out with you?" Kairi reminded him.
'Where did you hear that she told me she was going to bed?" Roxas replied.
'But she told me she was hanging out with you!" Kairi said shocked by this.
'Why would she lie to us?" Roxas wondered.
"Roxas what's wrong with you we need to go find her now!" Kairi shouted.
"I know but it doesn't add up why would Xion lie to us about this, I have a bad feeling about this lets go Kairi!" Roxas said grabbing her hand running to the door.
Kairi went to get Sora and Riku well Roxas went to get Axel and they all met up back in the girl's dorm.
"This better we good I was in the middle of my shower!" Axel said in a ticked off tone.
'Yeah and I was reading manga!" Sora said cold.
'Yeah and I was sleeping." Riku sighed.
'Yeah this is a good reason we can't find Xion anywhere!" Kairi shouted.
'WHAT!" All three people shouted.
"I don't know she lied to both me and Kairi and now we can't find her." Roxas explained.
'Ok let's all get going!" Riku shouted. But when they went to the door they were all shocked to see their friend Xion but her clothes were torn and ripped her jacket was completely gone and her body was covered in cuts and marks and her eyes looked like she had been crying for a while.
'Xion what happened to you!" Riku screamed looking his cool guy image.
'Nothing happened." Xion sniffled trying to walk inside but she was stopped when Axel lifted by her ripped shirt' dream on start talking now!" Axel ordered.
"It's nothing let me go now Axel!" Xion screamed but her shirt ripped and she fell on her already bruised knees.
"That's not nothing Xion we care about you what happened to you who did this to you!" Axel shouted grabbing Xion by her shirt.
'Xion please try and understand we care about you and what do you want us to do just let who ever hurt you like this to do it again!" Namine cried.
"Shut up and get away from me I didn't ask any of you to worry about me!" Xion shouted.
'Get real Xion like you wouldn't say this if I came back to the dorm looking like I was half dead!" Roxas mentioned.
"Xion we're family, there is no way I am going to let someone do this to a part of my family and just get away with it." Sora said acting series for once in his life.
Axel put Xion down sighing "Please just forget about this, I don't want you guys to get involved... I don't want you to get hurt!" Xion cried.
"Sorry Xion but that's not part of the deal with having friends." Riku said to the crying girl.
"Xion you got to lean on your friends when you're in trouble, that what we're here for." Axel said in a caring voice.
"He's right Xion, we all care about you and want you help you, but it's not fair to let you help us but you won't do the same!." Kairi said in a stern tone.
"Yeah Kairi is right just tell me who did this to you and I'll go show them a real beating!" "Roxas smiled.
"I think I'll join in that!" Riku smirked.
"Xion but please tell us who did this to you?' Namine asked again.
"Ok I'll tell you guys everything I know.
"Ok Xion starts talking now!" Kairi said well everyone was on the couch and Xion started explaining everything up till now to her friends.
'So when you tried to video them talking about their plan you got jumped, but how did you get away.
Flash back
Xion was down the street panting like holding her Keyblade trying to get away from Luxord and Vexen.
'Might as well come out kid you are just making this harder for yourself, you can run as much as you want but it won't change anything.
"Then you won't mind if I try." Xion replied casting and fire and ice spell making a little fog, the girl turned in to an ally hiding behind a dumpster trying to catch her breath.
"Hey Luxord where do you think the little runt ran off to?' Vexen asked his partner.
"Not sure but I bet her little friends will know where she ran off to." Luxord smiled.
"They're lying, they just want me to come out... they have no idea who my friends are." Xion said with her legs shaking in fear.
"Who should we go out first, maybe her best friend Roxas, but then again she have been hanging out with Kairi, but there is always her cousin Sora, and even that Riku boy." Luxord laughed.
Well they were laughing Luxord watched his partner get send flying away, Luxord turned around seeing Xion standing in front of him but she was wearing a cheerleading dress like when she saved Kairi.
"A quick change of clothes isn't going to save you." Luxord smirked.
"Oh don't you worry about me, I am much more powerful like this." Xion giggled.
Luxord took out five cars in each hand throwing them all at the girl but Xion just smiled and swung her arm watching each card blow in to the wall.
'Sorry but those silly card trick don't work on me." Xion giggled. Xion rushed at the hand but he kept throwing cards but each missed with the girl punching the man in the gut knocking him out of the ally.
"Ok I'll admit it your power to control wind packs a punch" Luxord said gripping his stomach.
"Yeah I am, but I'm also in a good mood so I won't kill you if you never go near my sister again?" Xion asked waiting for his response.
"Funny you seem to think you are going to win this battle." Luxord snickered.
"Can you really blame me you haven't even laid a finger on me like this." Xion snickered.
"I'd be careful not to let that power to go your head or lady luck might not let you live long enough to regret it!" Luxord smiled.
'Listen I may not be myself right now but I am taking this battle seriously." Xion replied in the same cheerfully voice .
"All those cards I threw I wasn't trying to hit you... I was digging your grave!" Luxord laughed throwing one more card past Xion's face. The girl turned around seeing that every card Luxord threw was stuck in the walls between the ally, Xion guessed what was about to happen but had no time to run watching the card Luxord threw it the other causing an explosion burying the girl in ruble.
'See now I told you the girl would fall for it." Luxord said dusting off his cloak.
"Alright I can see you were right, I didn't think anyone was that stupid not to notice something like that." Vexen laughed well the two took their leave.
After they were gone Xion moved the top of the ruble aside gripping her arm." Lucky for me I shied my body with wind magic or I would have died for sure." Xion stuttered dragging herself back to the school.
Flash back over
Everyone stood there in silent's after listening to the girl's story.
"Wait does that mean you're the girl version of Xion right now?" Kairi asked noticing the little heart mark on her cheek.
Roxas grinded down on his teeth running to the door but was stopped by Riku." Where do you think you're going Roxas?' Riku asked but already knew.
'I'm going go find those guys and teach them a lesson there never gonna forget!" Roxas shouted.
'I understand how you feel but if you run out right now you are just going to get beat like she did.
'What do you want me to do sit here and do nothing after all this?" Roxas yelled.
'No we are going to stop them but we need to use our brains not just our hearts!" Riku shouted back.
Roxas grabbed Riku by the shirt holding his fist up ready to attack him." They crossed a line here and I'm not letting it go!" Roxas screamed.
"I get it you love your cousin but she doesn't want to see you dead just so you can play the hero!" Riku stated.
Roxas was glaring at Riku like he was ready to fight and Riku was doing the same.
"Hey break it up you to we should be fighting the enemy not each other!" Axel shouted grabbing them by their shirts throwing them both against the wall.
"Roxas and Riku went back to the couch. "Whatever." Both Riku and Roxas said going over to the couch.
'Alright guys I think I have a plan that can stop them." Kairi smiled.
