Harry Potter of the elite 4
Alright two more chapters before Harry's second year begins so let's start with number one
"Hermione this is insane" Harry said trying to plead with his friend who was reading an old textbook the muggle born witch ignored him and instead turned a page "oh fascinating" she said before continuing to read
"come on Hermione let me or Carter battle you for your test the opponent you picked will fail you" Harry pleaded using the dreaded F word Hermione sighed and closed her book "and what would happen if I battled you Harry would you let me win"
"What no of course not" Harry said but even to Harry he sounded like he was lying
"exactly that's why I challenged someone who hasn't seen me battle or looks at me like a little girl who needs protecting I'm a witch Harry and a Pokemon trainer I will battle her"
Harry sighed he knew when Hermione got like this she couldn't be reasoned with when Kendra had seen them talk like this she had asked when the wedding was much to the two's embarrassment
"alright" Harry said giving up
Later that day Hermione stood in her part of the battle field across from her was Carters mom Ruby one of the four six ball trainers in the world "Gen gen" Her loveable if somewhat annoying Pokemon Gengar said next to her
"not going to let your gengar out of it's Pokeball" Ruby asked Hermione shook her head "with all due respect you know what Pokemon I have what would be the point of that"
"Fair point" Ruby said Kendra stood in the referee's area "this is a battle for Hermione Grangers three ball status both trainers will use one Pokemon the battle will end in two minutes or when one sides Pokemon is unable to battle let's begin"
"Gengar gen" Gengar said before floating out onto the battle field "well Hermione here comes my Pokemon come out Blaziken" Ruby tossed a Pokeball light poured and in a flash Hermione's opponent had appeared
a bipedal, chicken-like Pokémon whose body was red with accents of beige, yellow, and gray. Behind its head, there are beige, hair-like feathers that continue downward and surround its chest and abdomen. It has a small red face with a V-shaped crest on its head. Claws were at the end of it's feather less hands
From the stands the boys and Sadie were looking at the Pokemon like it was a brand new Ferrari while Daphne was looking at it with a calculating eye
"That thing looks so cool I wonder what type it is" Harry asked "who cares look at it and since my mom trained it it will be super powerful" Sadie said
"BOYS" Daphne yelled getting their attention "stop staring at the overgrown chicken and cheer for your friend she is the last of us to go through the test for three ball status"
"yeah because she spent so long studying" Carter said "why do you people keep rubbing in the fact your all three ball and I'm still a one"
"you'll get it eventually Sadie" Harry said before they sat down Harry pulled out his Pokeballs and let out his Pokemon "guys lets cheer for Hermione all right"
"You first Hermione" Ruby said Hermione nodded and quickly formed a plan "Gengar let's start off with shadow ball" Gengar formed a ball of shadows in it's hand and tossed it Blaziken simply jumped into the air
"now use curse" a dark purple aura formed around Gengar and Blaziken the larger Pokemon let out a pain filled cry as it fell to the arena floor Gengar smiled before it fell to his knees as the aura faded away both Pokemon stood up
"now attack Blaziken again with shadow ball" Gengar nodded and fired another shadow ball at Blaziken who dodged it before the aura briefly appeared around Blaziken again before it faded away

"What is that attack" Charmander asked with a confused look on its face Ivysaur lifted his head he had been enjoying relaxing in the sun
"That's curse Charmander it's that weird ghost type attack that drains your stamina over the course of a battle"
"yeesh remind me not to fight a ghost type soon" "it's a double edged sword to use it a ghost type loses half their energy making it difficult for the user"
"Oh well that's good I suppose" Charmander said sitting down next to Ivysaur "hey Ivysaur can I ask a question"
"Sure why not" Ivysaur said looking at an exchange between Gengar and the chicken thing Blaze hen or something
"do you think I'll evolve soon" Ivysaur looked at Charmander the usually happy fire type was looking at him with sadness and was that jealousy "honestly" Charmander nodded "I don't know what to tell you there's no set time we evolve"
"in the game there was" "in the game we were nothing but code we had no life no soul no emotion do you really want to be a charzard like that" Ivysaur said Charmander shook his head
"No way that sounds horrible with harry we get food and hugs from Hermione and Daphne and Harry I like Harry"
"I like him too he's a good kid stupid sometimes but ok"
"GO HERMIONE" Squritle shouted out standing on the railing "BEAT THE WEIRD CHICKEN THING"
"Squritle get down from there" Harry said grabbing Squritle before he fell "aw come on Harry this is fun" though all harry heard was Squritle
"He's an idiot" Harry's other Pokemon said together
Hermione winced seeing Gengar be knocked back by Rubys Pokemon Blaziken were not something to be underestimated "Gengar use our new formation" Gengar nodded and formed another shadow ball
Blaziken threw a kick at Gengar but the ghost type smirked as he flattened and expanded the shadow ball to the size of a tire the fire types (which Hermione figured out quickly enough Blaze is in its name) foot bounced off
"now attack" Gengar nodded condensing it's shield into what looked like an American football and fired it at Blaziken knocking it off balance "Gengar gen gen gar" Gengar said which Hermione theorized meant something like oh yeah I'm awesome
"gengar celebrate later now use hypnosis followed by nightmare and dream eater" Gengar nodded and got ready to follow his trainers order
"Blaze kick" Ruby said Blaziken nodded getting up faster then Hermione could see the Pokemon then hit Gengar with a flaming foot to his face Gengar was knocked out instantly
"Gengar is unable to battle the winner is Ruby as for her three ball status Ruby"
Instead of answering Ruby tossed Hermione two empty Pokeballs "you have a good head on your shoulders I can't wait to see what you do in this world"
Hermione smiled "thank you thank you I won't let you down thank you" Hermione ran over to Gengar and hugged him the ghost type was just starting to wake up hugged Hermione back
"thank you most of all Gengar tomorrow we're going to catch some new Pokemon and train until we drop but today" Hermione ran over to her friends "let's have some fun"
"weren't you going to study" Neville asked "I can study later let's have some fun"
"who are you and what have you done with Hermione" her friends from school said
