Chapter 10! Yay! Didn't think I'd get this far. Thanks to all the people who have Favourited and Followed and reviewed. This story would be nearly as good as it is now.

This should be the last part of the Sword of Hades. And if you haven't read the original story i suggest you do, it's part of the Demigod Files.

I hope you've all had a wonderful Easter!

Now on with the chapter!

Nico gave me a piggy-back as we continued across the Underworld.

I hid my face in his shoulder. We walked for a while before I heard Nico say "Uh oh."

I looked up from his shoulder. Up ahead was a river. It wasn't very wide but the water looked very fast. And black.

"The River Lethe," Nico explained, "We'll never make it across."

"There's got to be a way across Percy said as we approached the bank. Nico let me down and I peered at the water closely.

It didn't look very nice.

I saw Thalia kneel down next to the water.

"Careful! This is the river of Forgetfulness," Nico warned. "If one water gets on you, you'll start to forget who you are."

Thalia took a big step back.

"I know this place," Thalia said. "Luke told me about it once. Souls come here if they choose to be reborn, so they totally forget their former lives."

"Who's Luke?" I ask.

Thalia and Percy looked sad at that. "He used to be a friend," Thalia responded after a moment."

After a moment Nico spoke up.

"So any idea's on how to get across? Swimming's not an option."

"I could shoot an arrow across, maybe anchor a line to one of those rocks," Thalia offered staring across the river.

Nico looked at her and responded, "You want to trust your weight to a line that isn't tied off?"

"Your're right," Thalia said with a frown. "Works in movies, but... no. Could you summon some dead people to help us?"

"I could," Nico said, "but they would only appear on my side of the river. Running water acts as a barrier against the dead. They can't cross it."

"What kind of st-" Percy starts before looking at me, "uh... silly rule is that?"

"Hey, I didn't make it up," Nico said turning to look at Percy.

"It's water, isn't it? I'll have to control it. Maybe I can redirect the flow long enough to get us across," Percy explains.

With no further objection Percy moved the few steps towards the river.

"Stand back," he warned. "Here goes nothing," he mumbled to himself before lifting his arms up above his head. The water followed him creating a giant arc over the river bed.

"Go," he tells us, "I can't hold this for long."

We scrambled across the river climbing up and down the river backs. Thalia was the first to make it across and turned to pull me up the edge.

"Come on Percy! Walk!" She yelled across the river to Percy as we both helped Nico up.

He took a step forward and I saw him stumble from here. Holding up a magic river must be exhausting.

"I can't make it!" he called back.

"Yes you can! We need you!" Thalia responded.

We watched with crossed fingers as Percy stumbled across the riverbed. He was halfway before he stumbled again.

"NO!" Thalia yelled as the water went crashing down. I let out a gasp as Nico pulled both of us back to avoid the splash.

There was a shocked silence. The only sounds were the river rushing by and the whispers that raced slowly along the edge of my mind.

Not yet.

Not Yet? Was... Percy not yet gone? Not yet?

A full minute later and I saw it.

"Holy Shit!" I heard Thalia say as Percy fell on his face in front of us. Nico rushed over pulling out supplies and Thalia was over a split second later helping Nico roll him over.

I moved around to the other side and sat down watching as they started to pour the magic drink in his mouth.

After a little bit Thalia piped up, "We can't risk any more nectar, He'll burst into flames."

"Percy," Nico said, "Can you hear me?"

"Flames got it," Percy say in a murmur cracking his eyes open.

Percy sat up before we helped him stand up. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding.

"We're close," Nico told us pointing up at the path we had to take. It was lined in creepy looking bones.

"Ready," Percy said. picking up the magic flower. It only had three petals now.

"I don't like this," Thalia said.

"A creepy cave, the goddess of ghosts. What's not to like?" Percy asked.

By the time we had reached the entrance of the cave we were down to two petals.

We stepped into the cave cautiously. Almost immediately the whispers reacted. There were thousands of them rushing over me at the same time. I clapped my hands over my ears and looked around looking for Nico. He wasn't looking at me but at a woman made from the white fog. The form flicked every now and then to another woman that drew Thalia's attention.

Percy was looking between his two friends trying to tell them it wasn't real. He turned to me and said something. I couldn't hear him.

He walked closer looking worried and panicked.

He turned back to the odd mist lady and began arguing I think. The whispers swirled around my head. It was as bad as the time in the maze. My head pounded as whispers tried to talk to me.

I watched with wide eyes as fog crawled up around Nico and Thalia's legs draining away their colour bit by bit.

The whispers were still piling up coming by the dozen with no way out.

I felt as if some one was banging my head against the wall over and over again.

I squeezed my eyes shut. I screamed.

I screamed until they were gone.

I was so tired. I breathed heavily. I felt hands on my head and I someone threw and arm around my shoulder. I just wanted to sleep.

So I did.

"FLEE? Did you say FLEE?"

I woke with a start and the ground rumbled. I looked around. It was still the dark lighting of the Underworld. I was sitting against big boulder along the path to the creepy mist lady. Peering around the corner I saw the others standing together weapons drawn. Their back were towards me as they watched two others. the first was another boy with an eye patch. The sword of Hades was lying on the ground next to him.

Did the Earthquake knock him over?

"IAPETUS DOES NOT FLEE!" The second one yelled. He was a thin and dressed in ragged clothes. His grey hair was wild but his silver eyes looked very angry. "I have waited three eons to be summoned from the pit. I want revenge, and I will start by killing these weaklings!"

With that the man charged.

I watched the battle with wide eyes hands on the knife tied to my waist just in case.

Percy was the first to get a strike, impaling his sword into Iapetus's calf causing a small waterfall of golden ichor. The man's spear lased out and Percy was battered through the air into the rocks lining this side of the river.

"YOU DIE FIRST" Iapetus declared stalking across to Percy ignoring the arc of lightning that came from Thalia and knocking aside Nico.

"I will kill you all! Then I will cast your souls into the eternal darkness of Tartarus!"

I chewed my lip worriedly as Percy began picking himself off the ground.

"You're even uglier than your son," Percy taunted. "I can see where Atlas gets his stupidity from."

Iapetus snarled and thrust his spear down at Percy who lurched to the side before grabbing the ragged collar of the man twice his height and pushed him into the river behind them. The giant man grabbed onto Percy and dragged him with him. I scrambled out of my hiding spot right towards Nico.

As I reached Nico Percy tumbled up and out of the bank again. This time he was dragging a very wet Iapetus with him. They both collapse on the riverbank.

"My- my lord?" the first be called out and i turned to see him with his sword out a pile of bones in front of him.

Iapetus sat up and looked at him before turning to Percy. "Hello, Who am I?"

"You're my friend. You're... Bob," Percy blurted.

"I am your friend Bob!" the now Bob said happily.

Ethan moved to retrieve the fallen sword but Thalia was quick to shoot a silver arrow right between his feet.

"Not today kid; one more step and I'll pin your feet to the rocks."

It was probably smart of him to run in the opposite direction.

Thalia lifted her bow to shoot him in the back but stopped when Percy spoke up.

"No. Let him go."

"Nico walked over and grabbed the sword before walking back.

"We did it. We actually did it," He said and I hugged him around the middle.

"We did?" Bob questioned. "Did I help?"

I giggled.

"Yeah Bob, you did great," Percy said.

Bob smiled happily.

Bob is so adorable XD
So as you might notice it doesn't pan out the same way. Percy doesn't get scratched by the Keres for starters. I think the who drama with Harley was sufficient for one chapter.

I apologize if you're still confused but Harley has missed some things that Nico will go over with her next chapter. That should explain some things!

Reviews are appreciated and adored, as well as Ideas! If you have any questions fell free to ask! I'll do my best to give non-spoiler answers!
