I'm not completely happy with the way this piece turned out. I kind of had a hard time with it, probably because I'd already written about characters getting jealous in other stories that I was trying to be original. I hope it makes sense anyway. Enjoy!

J is for Jealous
Halfway through the school day, Dez was visited by the green-eyed monster. It was an awful sort of creature. Dez was certain of that. He didn't get jealous often, but still he hated the way it crept up on an innocent person (like him) and caused an icky-ish feeling to stir up in the bottom of their stomach. Like right now, for instance.
It was between third period and lunch. Trish was talking to some boy named Jace by the lockers. Dez recognized him from his History class.
"They're so cute," Ally smiled. She and Dez were standing a couple feet away, watching Trish and Jace. He said something that made Trish laugh a little, which in turn caused Dez's insides to coil and flip like a pancake. Not literally. It was a strange feeling, for suddenly, he didn't really like that Jace guy,
Dez furrowed his brows slightly as Jace continued to make Trish smile and laugh, not noticing the way Ally was looking at him, with a slight smirk on her lips.
A/N: Edited 5/22/14 – changed Noah's name to Jace to go with canon.
Next up is the letter "k". I've got something planned for Dez and Trish… Speaking of those two, their subplot in last Sunday's episode, Austin and Alias, was really funny!
