CHAPTER 10: THE BET PART 2
Hey you made it to the 10th chapter! Congratulations to you good person! Sorry it took so long I still have terrible writers block and I'm trying to get over it. I have also been watching a lot of Ranma 1/2 so that kept me busy too. Plus this isn't going to be a GREATEST chapter (because of writers block). That and there are videos on my channel(?) please subscribe, I feel like a loser. And tell other people of me. Also I've been having problems with my computer so that's also why I haven't been able to update.

*chapter 10*
(Lunch) "So how did you get your sword out of thin air like that?" Katara asked. They all wanted to know. "Awesome people don't spill out their secrets." Sophie explained. They all frowned. "Fine." They sat in silence for a second. "So the rest of the day is going to be boring, what do you guys wanna do?" Sophie asked then ate a piece of broccoli. Everyone thought a second. "Well I still have work to do, and we're going to be docking in a town in about a hour." Chung explained. "Well I need more fabrics and we can probably find something fun there to. What to you guys think?" Sophie asked/explained to Katara and Eva. Katara shrugged. "I don't see why we can't" Everyone nodded.
(At a fire nation colony) Sophie gave Katara and Eva red outfits and they were now looking for a fabric store. "Is that one?" Eva pointed out a dress store. Sophie got a closer look at it and shook her head. "Nonononononono not going there, that's a outfit store for gross ladies." Eva nodded and they walked away. Quickly. "Stupid Fire Nation and their prostitutes." Sophie whispered to Katara and she just nodded. A man walked up to them. "Yuz redie fer tuh nightz?" He was drunk and Sophie stood in front of Katara and Eva. "1. Your grammar sucks 2. Go away before I decide to kill you with my foot." Katara looked at Eva confused and Eva just kicked the air. 'Ahh' Katara mouthed understanding. "Yuz r fizzzie." the man smirked. "Fistey?" The man nodded stupidly.
"I needz a hookie."
"Hooker? Go look in an alley." (I understand I'm trying to hard to be funny, sorry)
The man shook his head and Sophie kicked him in the balls so hard that he flew a few feet. "RUN!" The man was faster and grabbed Sophie's ankle. She made a bow come out of thin air and aimed it at him. The arrow went into his shoulder and she started to run on all fours (after she made her bow disappear) to get to the other 2. They got to the ship in less a minute. "You 2 are never getting off this ship while we are here." Sophie said the other 2 were breathless except her. "Why us?" Eva asked. "I promised you I'd protect you (points to eva) and I promised your friends I'd protect you (Points to katara) I think they'd try and kill me if you ended up pregnant." The 2 nodded sadly. "I know you guys can protect yourselves but I just don't wanna risk it." Sophie gave them a sad look. "I still need to get stuff i'm going to get my sword and bow and get what I need you 2 will stay here. Eva, Iroh's in charge." Sophie walked away to get her stuff.
The 2 watched as Sophie walked with her sword in her hand, arrows on the other hip, and bow on her back. There was 4 spikes, 2 on each side, that connected at the end that held the string. It also had a black disign on the handle(1). She also had a bag to put stuff in.
(With the gang) Korra was practicing her water bending. She tried to bend the other elements but failed. It was like trying to air bend all over again. Mako was with her trying to learn how to use a sword.
"The only time anyone actually WANTS Tarja around." Mako growled.
"(Giggle) Why's that?"
"We've all seen her play with swords before. And that's why I actually want her here so she can teach me how to use this stupid thing"
Korra just giggled and Mako pouted.
"Can I just use my bending?"
"No Sokka will try and kill you."
They practiced for a few more minutes before Aang came to them. "Anyone know how to cook?" Aang gave a nervous smile. The couple shook their head no. Aang hung his head in disappointment. "OK" Aang walked away. "I think I'll practice my air bending" Korra whispered. Mako gave a confused look.
"The moves."
"Ahh OK"
Korra went through her bending moves. It took a hour but Korra still practiced and Mako watched. Then came the first move she was taught, 'Be the leaf'. "THAT'S AN AIRBENDER MOVE!" They heard Aang shout. Mako went paler. "Really now? I thought I made it up." Korra gave a nervous smile. "Nope! That's an air bender move, and your form was perfect and everything!" Aang praised and he went on and on but the couple wasn't listening they just silently sighed in relief.
(With Sophie)

Sophie sang the rest of the song silently to herself she was done by the time she got were she needed to be. A REAL fabric store. She walked in and found a lot of beautiful collection for fabrics. Purple and shiny (Rarity's fabric), red, blue, every color you could think of. She grabbed the purple shiny fabric and bought it.
She walked out and realized tomorrow was her birthday. 'Crapcrapcrapcrap...' she thought over and over again. She saw a lady walking passed. "Excuse me? Do you have a store here that sells band aids?" The lady pointed the way she came from. "You go down this street it will be the 5th store on the left." Sophie smiled and thanked her and went to the store.
When she walked in she went to the counter and asked, "Do you have any heavy, thick bandages?" The man at the counter bumped his head on the cabinet he was looking through. "Yes, on the right wall over there." He pointed as he rubbed the back of his head. "Thank you" She walked over and found a bunch that were labeled. Small and thin, small and thick, so on. She found what she was looking for and bought 3.
Sophie explored the little town more. She walked passed a bar and held the sword tighter. She saw a store filled with toys. Her eyes lit up. Sophie ran to the window and looked through. Her smile grew. "It's like the Willy Wonka factory except with toys!" Sophie whispered. She walked in, she felt even more special that she was inside. She looked around and saw stuffed ponies. Her chin dropped when she saw it. A stuffed Derpy doll(2). "It has the cutie mark and everything!" She (fan girled) whispered. She grabbed it and looked around some more. She saw a long row of dolls. They all looked fancy except one. It looked like one of the old timey rag dolls with a little red sparkly dress with long sleeves and a cape, Elsa's dress. It also had brown hair in a bun. Blue button eyes, stitched nose and mouth. Sophie grabbed it. 'It's OK for now.' She thought. To her it looked special. And not because she had a red version of Elsa's dress. Sophie also saw a little soldier boy toy equally made as the little 'Elsa' doll. Only it looked like a fire bender soldier. Except without the creepy mask thing. She smiled to herself and bought them.
She walked around more. She didn't want to go to the ship just yet. She found a regular dress store and saw a flash of blue when she passed. Sophie looked back to see a blue dress that looked water tribe. She walked in and got a closer look.
It was obviously blue but most of the dress was silk except it was a normal blue, the middle was navy blue with a little white belt that had a water tribe little ornament hanging from it. It also had a really dark blue feather beaded thing. The dress had little cloud like designs on the sleeves, dark blue middle, and around the bottom. There were dark lines around the collar and the sleeves. (I'll make a video for it soon)
"Katara would love this" Sophie smiled at her luck. She dropped it off at the counter. "Oh that comes with some free head jewelry." The lady said going to a drawer behind her. 'Really good luck.' Sophie thought. The lady came back with a single hair chopstick with ribbon and a weird bow thing. But it was still cute.
"How much?"
"10 silver, cuz it's water tribe styled it's not popular."
"I see."
She gave the lady money and left. Sophie started heading back to the ship when she saw a little girl and boy. The girl was crying and the boy was hugging her trying to hold back tears. They looked about 5/6. Sophie looked around. 'If I bring them back with me Zuko will really try and kill me and the kids I have to find a different way to cheer them up.' Sophie thought a second and it hit her. The dolls and cakes that she bought on the way to the fabric store. She walked over to them. (Imagine the cakes as like the little cake things at the save mart or something)
"Hey what's wrong?" Sophie asked getting down to their level. "We have no money to buy food for us. And that man over there was yelling at us saying that we'll never be excepted from being homeless and parentless." The little boy answered almost crying more and pointing to the apple stand. Sophie took out the cakes. She bought 6 cakes so she was able to give them 2. She also got out the Derpy and solider. 'The only Derpy plushy ever and I'm about to give it away, at least I have the Vinyl figure' "Tomorrow's my birthday so I bought myself cakes and gifts. Would you like them?" Sophie said/thought. Their eyes grew wide and stopped crying. "But it's your birthday! We couldn't" Sophie shook her head at the girls statement. "No I'd like to share my gifts." The kids took them and started eating and hugging the toys. Sophie smiled and started singing and rocking side to side. In a really stupid voice.

The kids started laughing uncontrollably. Sophie couldn't help but start laughing along. It calmed down. "Thank you miss." Sophie smiled at the 2. "Can you please excuse me?" The 2 nodded and she walked over to the apple stand.
"Hello ma'am, how may I help you?" Sophie gave a mean look. "Did you yell at those children?" Sophie asked pointing to them. "I did." The man at the stand said. "They're homeless, the lowest of the low." Sophie smiled "OK, OK I see." She turned around and the smile turned quickly into the meanest look. She quickly turned around and used her pinkie and ring finger to quickly make him pass out by pressing a pressure point on the neck. She looked around and grabbed most of the apples. Sophie giggled all the way to the kids. "Come on, I'll drop you off in a nicer town." And the 3 ran all the way back to the ship laughing.
"So what's your name lady?" The little girl asked.
"I'm Sophie, what are your names?"
"I'm Ryu and this is my sister Miaka"
"I just need to tell you to not make the man with the scar mad when I'm not around."
"Why?"
"Because I won't be there to protect you."
The kids nodded as they walked up on deck. "TIA!" Eva yelled as she ran to Sophie. "I thought your name was Sophie?" The girl asked. "It is but she calls me Tia." The girl smiled "Ahhh, OK"
"Damn it Sophie! Are you trying to get Zuko to kill you?"
"No Chung, these ones I can't keep. I'm going to find them a good home."
"Oh so it's OK to kidnap a kid from her parents but it isn't OK to kidnap orphans?!"
"First of all I rescued her from people who were abusing her, and I brought these 2 so they can find a home and not be abused by thugs and junk!"
While they were arguing Eva went to the 2 kids.
"I'm Evalin, what are your names?"
"Ryu"
"Miaka"
"Nice to meet you!"
"Does she always take kids and take care of them?"
"No, at first I was the only one. But then you came! And I know Tia always keeps her promises."
The 2 nodded. Chung walked away in anger and Sophie turned to them and smiled. "Eva, close your eyes" Eva did as she was told and Sophie got the 'Elsa' doll out of her bag. She tapped Eva's head with the doll while saying, "bomp" Eva open her eyes and she smiled. "Thank you she's so pretty!" Eva hugged the doll tightly Sophie smiled. "She's all I can get you for now. It's not hand-made by me, but this will help you get through the nights for a while." Eva hugged her tightly. "But isn't tomorrow YOUR birthday?" Miaka asked. Eva smiled widely.
"TOMORROW'S YOUR BIRTHDAY?!"
"Ya that's why were celebrating tonight, I convinced Iroh to let us have another music night."
"YES!" Eva ran around.
"I'll buy more cake" Sophie whispered to the kids while winking. Katara walked out and looked at the kids.
"Sophie who are they?"
"Their Kyu and Miaka. Are you siblings?" The 2 nodded
"THEY'RE SIBLINGS! HOW DARE THEE NOT KNOW!" (giggle) "They're staying with us for a while until we get to the next town. That reminds me, I gotcha somethin'."
Sophie pulled out the dress and Katara's chin dropped. "It's, GORGOUS." Katara said in awe. Sophie smiled and nodded. "We're having another music night tonight, maybe you can wear it then. It even comes with it's own hair stuff!" Sophie said pulling out the hair jewlery. Katara grabbed the dress and ran off into the room. "Madam Sophie, during music night we are heading to the next town so it will be kind of rocky so it may be hard to dance and play instruments. Is this OK?" A guard asked walking up on deck. "It's fine we'll just do our best it's no big deal." Sophie said stateing the obvious. The guard sighed in relief. "One more thing, dinner will be early tonight because of music night." The guard added. "Awesome."
(In the next town that the ship will be sailing to)
"So where are they now?"
"In a Fire Nation colony, I have gotten news they'll be heading here next."
"Wonderful. I'm going to stay up and think. You go to bed, I'll be there in a little bit."
"Goodnight"
"Goodnight. This turn of events cannot be so perfect (Evil chuckle)"
Can you guess who these people are? Next chapter has music night and you may possibly find out why Tarja needs the band aids. SPOILER ALERT! There's another character that's going to be traveling with 'Sophie' in the next chapter. So, this is what I want you to review on.
