A/N: This chapter begins with Ashley and Amelia looking at a house. I know, continuity isn't my biggest strength but I'm trying.
Another thing; the whole updating mondays thing isn't working at all, so from now on, I will only update when I have the time and the ideas for new chapters, otherwise my writer's block will just get worse. I don't know why I have so many problems writing longer stories while the oneshots just come to me. Well, hope you like it anyway.
„That house is just amazing! Well, it's not a house, it's a villa!", Amelia exclaimed when they entered the house-villa.
„You like it?", Ashley asked with a grin.
„Like it?! I love it!"
„Yeah, it's my favourite. You haven't seen the other ones, but I swear they were not so... so..."
„Amazing? Breathtaking? Beautiful? Shall I go on?"
„No I think that fits very well", Ashley laughed, „You wanna see the rest of it?"
„Can't wait", the younger woman grinned.
„So, this is the master bedroom of the house", the blonde said proudly, leading her little sister through the doors.
„Wow!", was alll Amelia managed to say, „This is unbelievable!"
And it was. The bedroom was huge, the stairs almost directly led into it.
There were giant windows, which made the room so bright and spacy. The kingsize bed was standing on the left side, on the opposite wall, there was a giant tv and on the right sight were a lot of wooden bookshelves and some big, fluffy armchairs.
Maybe the house was a bit old school, but at least you felt at home as soon as you entered it.
„So, lets summon the whole thing; you have a giant open kitchen, you have a bar, a party room, a library, a sauna, a large in-door pool, a poolroom, an open living room, a huge garage, 4 bathrooms, the biggest one next door to your master bedroom with a whirlpool, and you have 4 guestrooms that are almost as big as my appartement, I mean, that is mental!"
„You think that is mental? You haven't even seen the best part!", Ashley laughed as she led Amelia down into the open livingroom and then into the garden.
„Is that... is that a tennis fcourt?! And... and this patio! And another pool! It's so... so...-"
„That still isn't the best part. If you would follow me?", the heart surgeon grinned.
They made their way past the tennis court on the left and the out-door pool on the right side, over the grass until they reached a small, from the view from the patio well hidden path with a lot of undergrowth on both sides.
„Where are we going? This part of the garden is a mess! It's more jungle, that's not a garden anymore", the neurosurgeon complained.
„Less complaining, more patience", her older cousin smirked.
As soon as the path started, it ended, because it only led through the ungergrowth and made space for the spectacular view.
This part of the garden was, like the rest of the house-villa, screened by large trees and prevented that someone saw what was going on.
„Wow...again...", Amelia stuttered.
They were now able to see the perfect garden with grass that shone green-orange in the afternoon sun. And when one turned a bit, another, smaller patio and another house would be seen.
But their style was completely different. While the giant main house was built big and pompous in the old-style, the second, smaller house seemed fairly new and was built almost entirely of glass. Only the roof, the ground floor and the first floor seemed to be stone that shone warmly in the sun light.
It was a lot smaller than the main house, not even half as big as it, but still huge.
„That's the reason I bought it. That's what I've been looking for! A place to relax, to let go and just calm down. You wanna see the rooms?"
„Yeah! You're a little poet, aren't you?"
„Pain in the ass!", Ashley mumbled, but her cousin heard it: „Touché!"
The older woman grinned and opened the door with a set of keys.
„So, in the basement, there is a sauna and an in-door pool, too, just smaller and newer. Here on the ground floor, we have that open kitchen-dining room thing, too and an open living room that is very high-tech and a bar. On the first floor", she said, while running up the stairs „we have a big bedroom, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, a bathtub and a shower, that's pretty cool. We have a small library and an office in one and a poolroom."
„I'm sorry, but you're SO stupid!"
„What?!"
„You are buying that huge villa thing, the most amazing house that I've ever seen -and I've been in your beach houses- because of this small, newer version hidden in the garden?"
„Yeah, I guess so", the blonde laughed.
„I hate you! I really hate you!", Amelia exclaimed.
„Love ya too, lil' sis, love ya too!", the heart surgeon grinned, but looked very astonished when her cousin dropped to her knees in front of her.
„What are you-?"
„Pleeeease!"
„Can you tell me what's going on?"
„Please let me move in here! Please, the main house is so big and if you don't want it... and... this is so cool, I just have to live here, please, I'll do whatever you want, I'll unpack all my stuff in an hour, there won't be any boxes, pleeeeeeease! I'll even pay rent!"
„Okay"
„O-okay? You agree?"
„Under one condition.."
„Anything!"
„I can call you lil' sis whenever I want to and you won't complain"
„Seriously?!", Amelia asked.
„Yes. You can have the whole main house for yourself, you don't need to pay rent, or do anything else. I'll hire gardeners and cleaning personal, never mind about that. But we share the garage, the tennis court and the out-door pool. And you tell me about partys, just so I know."
„Yes! Yes, yes! Oh yes!", Amelia shouted, throwing her arms around Ashleys neck, hugging her tightly.
„See, my pain in the ass is happy", the blonde murmured into her cousins ear.
„I love you, too!", the brown haired squealed happily.
„So, how are we going to get to work? My appartement has been 10 to 15 minutes by foot, but his is too far away to walk.", she asked then.
„That's why we came by taxi-"
„We're going to drive to the hospital or the practice by taxi every morning? That's-"
„No you genius, we're going to buy a car now! I just need one."
„Oh, yeah, good idea"
About 20 minutes later, they were looking at different types of cars while a salesman was jumping around them, chatting away happily. Ashley had close looks on the car -she had always been a techinc freak- and Amelia couldn't help but feel like her cousin had decided long time before she asked for Amelias opinion and had a look at even more cars.
In the end, they both decided to take a black jeep and a red sportscar.
The neurosurgeon had completely fallen in love with a silver cabriolet, but Ashley said she hated it so they „only" took the two other cars (though the younger woman knew she was lucky, she still pouted a bit, but the heart surgeon wouldn't give in and buy a third car).
So they drove to Amelia's appartement and grabbed her stuff because she only owned a few boxes. She had always been a workaholic, so she had spent her time in the hospital, the practice, with Amelia or Addison and in bars. Shopping was completely unnecessary, in her opinion.
They said goodbye on the door steps when they had brought the boxes into the house.
Ashley only had one set of keys, so she promised her cousin to make a copy tomorrow and let her borrow the jeep for the ride home.
As she would say it, it had been a very successful operation today and the day had been almost perfect. And for a few hours, she had been able to forget about her dispute with her best friend.
But as soon as she unpacked her stuff in the smaller house, she felt lonely and missed being close to the other woman. Shit!
So, what do you think about the new chapter? Good? Bad?
I'm probably not going to be able to update in the next few days because exams start and I don't understand anything because I am currently attending school in Spain.
But I hope I can maybe update next weekend or something
