Chapter 9: Raptors revenge
"Tskunue run! Don't stop keep going!" Moka yelled, Even she was running from the raptors now, Somehow they got back up no problem
"I'm only human! I can't run at break neck speeds you know?!" He retorted, His brown eyes never looking away from the sliver haired beauty in front of him.
"We are nearly at a shelter according to this map, Once in there we should be quite safe from them, Unless they know how to open doors that is" Alan added in as he ran along side Moka slightly leading the way towards it
The barks of the raptors behind were heard as they managed to make it to safety, Tskune almost getting caught as Moka slammed the door in their faces which resulted in a huge bang noise from the impact and two raptor shapes in the metal door.
"I was almost raptor chow huh?" Chuckled the teen looking towards Moka who stood there scowling at him. "What?"
"You almost died then Tskune, Now is not the time for jokes okay? And you see why I want to train you in running? At least then you can outrun most things" She got onto her knees checking him over for any injuries he might have. "seriously I have to save you over and over again" A soft warm smile appeared from her as she ruffled his hair much to the annoyance of the other
Before Tskune could say anything the handle on the door started to turn which shocked the trio and they quickly made their way further into the bunker trying to hide from the raptors hoping that they wouldn't be found.
Back in the vistors center the others were hiding from their own raptor but this time in the control room thinking they were safe in there.
"Moka I'm sure Tskune is perfectly safe okay? You need to calm down, Panicking like this isn't going to help any" Yukari sighed she was also concerned but had to focus on their situation right now.
"I know but! I can't stop how I feel Yukari, That's like asking you to stop being so smart, It is something out of your control" Tears were threatening to spill over again until Kurumu handed her a tomato juice can.
"Here this might help you out some, We are all scared for Tskune I want him back against my bossom safe and sound where he belongs but no, I have to wait for that, He's gonna come back to us Moka I just know he is" Emotions clear in her voice, She was being genuine with her words to stop any doubt.
Moka sighed sofly looking down at the can remembering their first day as class mates. "Yeah he does, Even when he runs away he comes back, He knew he would probably get injured or worse each time he comes back, But it never stopped him, Even with you Kurumu and he wanted to protect you from the other me."
"You're damn righht, He's brave if not a little stupid, But that makes him Tskune at the end of the day and I for one wouldn't have it any other way"
The sound of cccclaws on the metal floor confirmed that the two raptors had entered the building in search of their prey, This only added to the fear Tskune was feeling.
"Tskune calm down or else theywill smell you and that's bad for all of us trust me" The vampire wrapped her arms around him in the hops it would help him calm down a little
"S-Sorry Moka it's just hard knowing that I could lose you from my life" His voice was shaky and riddled with fear, as was his body against hers.
Before Moka ccould repy a bark was heard from one of the raptors which prompted her to stand up ready to protect them. "Stay here Okay? I'll deal with them so they never come back." With thatshe left the small room locking the door from the outside
In front of her was the beta raptor, The Alpha else where, It was staring straight at Moka snarling ready to attack
"Bring it raptor, You'll never touch my Tskune!" She launched towards the raptor as it lept at her managing the slash her arm open with a claw which caused the vampire to scream in pain
Falling to her knees she held her arm and looked up to see the Alpha above her ready to strike.
