Lian:...A table?

Not just any table... the table of justice!

Lian: The table... of justice?

Yep! :3

Lian: She's gone mad.

I have not! *offended* :(

Lian: *raises eyebrow* really? You're arguing with me? Go away.

Okay... :

Daitan Futekina – Fearless

Bonus 1

"I remember tears streaming down your face when I said I'd never let you go.

When all those shadows almost killed your light.

I remember you said; 'don't leave me here alone'.

But all that's dead and gone has passed tonight.

Just close your eyes, the sun is going down.

You'll be alright, no-one can hurt you now.

Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound.

Don't you dare look out your window, darling, everything's on fire.

The war outside our door keeps raging on.

Called into this lullaby, even when the music's gone.

Gone.

Just close your eyes, the sun is going down.

You'll be alright, no-one can hurt you now.

Come morning light, you and I'll be safe and sound."

Everything was silent as Kukri sang, mellow voice carrying through the room. Everyone was bundled up in scarves and gloves and the snow-storm out-side raged on. Mikasa snuggled into her signature scarf, relaxing as the lamps around them bathed the room in a soft yellow glow. Shadows flickered on the walls, and it would have been an eerie atmosphere without Kukri's voice singing loud enough to hear.

Eventually, however, Kukri's voice died away as her song finished, and everyone's mood returned to a dreary one. They should have been enjoying it, this was one of the only days they were off training, but the storm that forced them inside spoiled everyone's fun. About an hour ago they were all outside, kicking up the snow that winter brought to them, but now they were damp, stuck inside with little to do.

Kukri hadn't realized how much training took out of her day; she was probably the most bored of them all, having grown used to training all day for the past 5 years.

"That was a really nice song, Kukri." Jean said, smiling at the tiny girl, almost completely covered in her scarf and quilt. He felt a pang of jealousy as Eren threw his arm and scarf around her, grinning wildly. Strangely enough, he was probably the least depressed of them all, still smiling through the freezing cold.

"Kukri's always been good at singing, haven't you Kukri?" Eren said, proud of his friend. Their friendship was pretty much back to normal, and it made Jean's blood boil.

"Thank you." She mumbled in response, and everyone could see her cheeks grow pink at the compliments. Or, what was visible, anyway.

They stayed like that, huddled together, and Armin couldn't help but smile. He missed it, their friendship, and he was glad that it was back to normal. It took 2 years, but they had done it.

Eren smiled down at Kukri, who was positively tiny in comparison to him. While he lounged, legs stretched out, she was curled up into a ball, retaining the minimal heat his body allowed. He grinned when he blew softly into her ear, he knew she ticklish and hated it. She huffed, cheeks puffed out in exasperation, at which the brunette chuckled lightly. He let a his fingers trace the outline of her face in complacency, his smile wiped away when they grazed the thin scar running horizontally below her eye.

He gave her that. And it sickened him.

"Hey! Why don't we play truth or dare?" Sasha asked, successfully snapping Eren out of his reverie. His hand dropped from Kukri's face, much to Jean's delight. He had been seething the entire time it was on her, teeth grit in jealousy. Eren smirked as he caught his glare, spurring him on with a competitive gaze.

Kukri must have noticed, for a second later, Eren let a sharp yelp emit from his mouth. The albino had pinched him. His face promptly turned red as she muttered something to him.

Sasha, oblivious to the conversation going on between the two, looked ecstatic at her idea of a game. At everyone's blank faces, however, her face dropped. "What? You guys don't know what truth or dare is?"

Silence ensued.

"You're kidding me! Well, now we have to play!"

Connie rolled his eyes, affectionately, at the cheerful girl, who had jumped up to point at Kukri.

"Kukri! Truth or dare?"

"Huh?"

"Pick one!"

"Umm... dare?" She said hesitantly, not quite sure what to choose. At her answer, however, Sasha squealed happily.

"Brilliant!" She said, thinking for a moment. "I dare you to... sit without your quilt and scarf for the next 3 turns! And no cuddling!" She said, throwing a sharp look to Eren, who was squished up comfortably next to his friend.

After several seconds, Kukri blinked. "No."

Sasha's eyes widened at this. "B-but! You have to! It's a dare!"

"So?"

"It's against the rules to go back on a dare!"

Silence.

"Fine." Kukri muttered, and Eren released her from his hold – though with a slight sour face. She shook off her thick quilt and unwrapped her large scarf from her neck, with Sasha standing nearby, happy that she did as told. She now stood, in little more than a thin t-shirt and a skirt, before sitting back down again, now at a considerable distance from her friend.

The cold air instantly hit her, but a thought crossed her mind. Lifting both hands, she let her hair free from its confines.

Her hair now trailed onto the ground a fair distance, free of the band that it was usually tied up in, and her bangs covered most of her right eye. Wisps of white hair tickled her face, and she cleverly wrapped the locks around her like a blanket. Seeing Sasha ready to protest, she fixed the girl with an un-wavering stare, and she sat back down, not wanting to argue with the short girl.

Eren let his eyes drift over to the albino, mouth slightly gaping at the length of her hair. He knew it was long, as it had been when they were just children, but the ponytail her hair was always in left little to the imagination. He didn't think it would be as long as it was, and for a second, he thought it looked rather pretty.

"My turn, then?" The albino asked, quickly grasping the concept of the game. After a nod from Sasha, she turned to Eren. "Truth or Dare?" She asked, crimson eyes fixated on him.

Eren thought about this one quite hard; he certainly didn't want to end up like Kukri, cold and without anything for warmth (his hair wasn't quite long enough), but at the same time he had the urge to prove himself.

"Dare." He replied confidently, cyan eyes meeting his friend's own crimson orbs.

"I dare you to spend the next round sitting on Connie's lap."

What.

Eren fixed the girl with a stare, hoping to God above that she was joking, but her face said it all. She completely serious.

Silence ensued for several seconds before the group erupted in laughter. Connie and Eren looked at the monotone girl with widened eyes, shouting out; "Are you kidding me!?" in synchronization.

"No way, Kukri." Eren said, crossing his arms stubbornly and turning the other way. After several seconds he tentatively turned back around only to come face-to-face with the daremaster herself.

His face flushed red at the proximity, her face was mere inches from his own, and he wondered if she noticed. While several members of the group chuckled at his red face, a new rumour set in motion, Jean frowned solemnly, eye twitching, and Annie only offered a simple smile.

"Do it." The albino said simply, and with a sigh, Eren complied, standing up to walk over to Connie with a depressed expression. The boy he walked over to let out a screech when the brunette plopped onto his lap, proceeding to try and push the boy off.

Their friends let out several giggles and snickers at Eren's grumbled swears, and Reiner even pat Kukri on the back for thinking of it, nearly knocking the poor girl over with the force, though he profusely apologized.

Nevertheless, Eren turned to Jean, a daring look on his face. "Hey horse-face, truth or dare?" Jean was about to yell at him for the insult, but Kukri beat him to it.

"That's rude, Eren." She said calmly, turning her attention to the boy, at which he grumbled in response. A mumbled 'fine' escaping his lips.

"Truth." Jean replied, a smirk tugging on his mouth after being defended by the albino, happy she wasn't siding with the brunette for once. Eren looked grumpy at his answer, obviously wanting to make his rival do something as humiliating as Kukri made him do.

"If you were to turn gay at any moment, who would you go gay for?"

Like before, there was nothing but silence for several moments, before Jean sputtered out complaints. "W-what kind of question is that!?"

The group snickered from behind their hands as Eren looked triumphantly to Jean, whose face looked stricken with shock. "Just answer the question."

"I don't know!" Jean responded, throwing up his arms, making a fuss.

"Well, who wouldn't go gay for Corporal Levi?" Connie asked from underneath Eren.

Silence.

A tiny giggle.

Everyone looked to Kukri, who was biting her lip in an effort to stifle her giggles. Was she... laughing?

Soon enough, biting her lip wasn't enough, and the group looked at the monotonous albino clasp her hand over her mouth. "Kukri? Are you... okay?" Krista asked tentatively, leaning over to check the girl's temperature. That was the tip of the ice-berg, however, and the trainees leapt back in shock when a full blown laugh emit from the tiny girl's mouth.

"C-corporal Levi?" Another giggle. "A-are you kidding?" She choked out, mouth nearly splitting as she smiled widely. "No offense, Connie, but he wouldn't go gay if you put a rifle to his head! Hell, put him in the same room with a hundred titans and he still won't!"

"Are you sure you're okay, Kukri? Maybe you're running a fever..." Armin said, ready to get up to check on the girl. She waved him off, however, and covered her face with her hands and hair, obviously embarrassed about her outburst.

Little did they know, all Kukri had running through her mind now was a tender scene between Levi and Connie.

"Springer... I've been holding this back a long time now..."

"H-heichou? What are you doing? Why are you so close all of a sudden?"

"Shhh... Don't speak... Let your heart do all the talking."

At this scenario, Kukri was led into another fit of giggles, at which Eren stood, taking her arm in his hand and leading her to the door, apologizing as he went. "Sorry, but she's got her hands on wine or something. We'll be back in a second."

"I have not!" Kukri protested, cheeks flushed at the accusation, though in their eyes it was entirely possible.

"Leave her alone, Jaeger, just because she's having fun doesn't mean there's something wrong with her." Jean said, defending the white-haired girl.

"Exactly!" Kukri said, happy that someone was on her side. After several seconds, Eren shrugged, going back to sit in his own seat since the round was over. Kukri followed, sending an appreciative smile to Jean, at which he blushed. She had turned before seeing it, however, sitting next to Eren and resisting the urge to steal his comfortable, warm quilt.

"Armin, truth or dare?" Jean said, composing himself.

"Umm, dare." He said, not wanting a fiasco like the one the previous truth had started.

"I dare you to... Slow dance for a full two minutes with the person to your right." Armin turned in that direction to look at Annie, who froze him with her aqua eyes. He shivered at the cold stare, which clearly said, 'slow dance with me and you'll never dance again'. He gulped, turning back to look at Jean.

"Truth?" He asked, pleading with his eyes to be let off just this once.

Jean rolled his eyes, nodding his head to give Armin a free pass. "Fine... Someone help me here?" Jean said, looking to the group for ideas.

"If you could be someone you know for a whole day, who would you be and what would you do."

"Kukri. I'd go throw a pie in Corporal Levi's face and see his reaction." He replied without a moment's hesitation. Everyone's eyes widened at this except Mikasa's who nodded in understanding.

"W-hat? Why me?" Kukri asked, shocked at Armin's answer.

"Well, Kukri's probably the only person who could run fast enough to get away." Jean concluded, at which Armin shook his head.

"Nope. He'd just let her off scotch-free."

"After washing a thousand of his cravats, sure!" Kukri exclaimed.

"Why would she get off free?" Sasha asked, tilting her head to the side cutely in confusion.

"Well everyone knows he likes her-" Mikasa's words were cut off when Kukri leapt at her, clasping her hands over her mouth. How could she?!

"You promised!" The albino screeched, at which Mikasa mumbled something. "What was that?" A muffled grunt.

...

Slowly, Kukri lifted her hands from Mikasa's mouth, and after hearing nothing more, she stood, walked calmly back to her place beside Eren, quickly grasping his quilt and snuggling up to him. Eren couldn't help but smile as she lay her head on his stomach, savouring the warmth.

Her eyes fluttered closed, a pink-lipped pout still marring her face, and her breaths grew shallow as she fell into slumber. Eren lifted up her black scarf from behind her, laying it on her head, covering her pink-tipped ears.

"I worry about you sometimes, you know?" He mumbled, looking down at the sleeping girl with fond eyes.

And he did, he truly worried for her mentality sometimes, sure, but in the end, she was his friend, and he would stand by her no matter what.

Good night, Kukri. Sleep well.

A/N: This was a little filler chapter to be honest, mainly because I felt like writing something about Christmas! If you couldn't tell, it was supposed to be the days leading up to Christmas, that's why they get the day off in a sense. Sorry if you don't like it, it is a bit shorter than usual. We did get a bit of ErenxKukri fluff, though! And if you paid close attention to the ending you may have noticed something about a certain someone too! ;) We'll see more of that in the future, but for now we're just finishing up the trainee portion before moving onto the second siege of the walls.

Anyway, if you liked this chapter, thank you, and if you didn't make sure to tell me why and I'll see what I can do to improve, mkay?

PS: I've been thinking about starting up a poll on my profile to see who you guys think Kukri should end up with. Keep in mind even though I'll have the votes for who, I'm gonna need your opinions on why. It's a big help whenever someone tells me their opinion on what they think should happen next, so don't forget to leave that kinda stuff in a review, okay?

This poll will last for several more chapters, until I have fully decided who I think Kukri should end up with, based on personal opinion, votes, and outside influences.

Thank You.

Aisaka-Chan, signing off.
