Fablehaven: The Return

CHAPTER 10: Confusion
Kendra's POV
My mind, and my heart are utterly confused.
I saw Bracken leaving Gavin's room, red faced, and with a dislikable aura...
Something went down. A negative feeling came from Gavin's room as well.
I went to my room and lay on my bed. I had to think somethings over. For example, Bracken.
Bracken has been here for me since the end of the demon war. He's funny, loyal, charming, and he's a good person, and I trust him. But do I love him? It's too soon to say that, and besides, I'm only 17, physically 16 after the first part of the eternal cerimony, and we aren't even dating yet.
Then there's Gavin. I trusted him, before the Navarog incident...yet, here he is, loyal as ever. He's helped us so far, and for some reason, I trust him...maybe because of what happened in the Lost Mesa...yet, I don't love him either. We were apart for a long time.
Both boys are smart, kind, loyal, brave...they both cared for me and I cared for them...but I know sooner or later, I will eventually fall for one of them.
But who?
Lucia's POV
Seth...something about him made me trust him.
But why? I had made a vow to not trust anyone so easily. Not after what happened...
*FLASHBACK*
I swung my sword and brought another imp down. I spread my wings out and jumped into the air, flapping hard. I had to get away from here.
The stupid Sphinx! I trusted him! He trained me, he was my mentor, and friend...how stupid I was to trust him so easily.
"Lucia, please listen to me," his voice echoed in my mind.
Tears filled my eyes. "YOU LIAR! I HATE YOU! FOREVER!" I thought the words in my head, before blocking him out of my mind, forever.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Yes. The Sphinx had been my mentor, and my friend. He trained me during my time as a Knight of the Dawn. Everything I knew was thanks to him. But then, the evil man betrayed me. He turned out to be cold hearted and dark. He wanted me to join the Society of the Evening Star, but I refused. Not wanting to stay with him another minute, I escaped his home.
Years and years later, I stumbled upon a fairy shrine. She allowed me passage into the dragon sanctuary. That's where I met Agad. He trained me even more. Then I set off on my own.
For another time I was alone, before I met Charlie Rose, who trained me a bit some more. Then I trained on my own, discovering new abilities and new tricks and moves. My favorite ones were the elemental powers, specifically water, mainly since I am a siren after all.
After some more time alone, I found the cave which I call my home. I used my magic to fix it up and enchanted it so the Sphinx wouldn't find me if he tried.
A few years later, I recieved news of Navarog's death, along with Charlie Rose's death as well. Then, through my connections as a Kight of the Dawn, I revieved war of the Demon War.
I fought of course. For the good side.
Now, looking back, I remember seeing Kendra shining brightly, and Seth fighting fiercly. But then I left the war to assist the injured.
I remember seeing Seth and Kendra's auras the most, because they have the same strange aura combinations as I do: three different colors at once.
Kendra has a golden, silver, and pink aura. Seth has an aura simialar to mine: green, black, and white. (Mine is blue, black, and white.)
But the thing is...why? Why is Seth's aura so close to mine?
I'M ALIVE!
Sorry I took FOREVER to update. I have problems that interfier, as you've probably already know...
