Broken, desolate, and alone
Looking through the bars
At the life he had known.
For the beautiful turtle
Was standing alone
Far from his life, his family, and home.
The spirit of love
Looking out for turtle
From high above.
Spirit opened the cage
By providing the keys
All turtle had to do
Was reach for these.
Be strong young turtle

Before the vicious night
Turns you to dust.

The hurt and harm
