Chapter Ten

[Lust and Greed Are More Gullible Than Innocence]

"Congratulations!" Lloyd, the Earl of Pudding, cried. "You've successfully integrated the new manoeuvres from the Lancelot's program into action. Schneizel will be so happy! All that government money hasn't gone to waste!"

Suzaku growled an obscenity under his breath...

"What was that about Prince Schneizel, Sir Kururuugi?" Cecile chimed in, appearing on a monitor within the robot's heart chamber, with a beaming smile which was much more threatening than pleasant.

"A-Ah, nothing, Cecile-San." He quickly retracted.

Suddenly, in the distance, came a massive explosion. It shook the earth and shifted the stance of the Lancelot with its fallout. Suzaku trembled within the confines of his oversized battle-suit as his sensors flashed alerts in alarming red across the screens.

"It's the Black Knights!" cried Cecile.

"Su-Za-Ku!" Lloyd sang.

"You don't need to tell me!"

He engaged the Lancelot's accelerators and took off, leaping and gliding towards the rising plume of brown smoke.

The booms of follow up explosions began to surround him as he closed the distance between the Avalon and the warring factions. He flew over a mountain of rubble and levelled skyscrapers, bloody patches of torn bodies - casualties of war, remnants of little lives - and beautiful bits of broken tiles, Russian mosaics and pieces of art - all destroyed. His fingers tensed around the handles of Lancelot's controls; ()All this killing has to stop.()

Suddenly, a glimmer of light through the smoke; a great red machine came charging through the sky towards him. The Guren. It was roaring his name.

"SUZAKU!"

"Kallen?!"

He was broadsided, the menacing metal claw wrapping around his right arm and pinning him down. His compartment shook violently and error messages bombarded him on all the screens. The word "CRITICAL" flashed in urgent red before his eyes.

"Ahhh!"

"Ah!"

The soft leather whip cut across Julius's shoulder blades in a short burning sting. It left a line of soft pain which he whimpered and trembled in the aftermath of. His face was hot; he was blushing, naked. Clenching the satin sheets between his thin white fingers, Julius thought he would tear through them in humiliation.

He tensed. Ready.

Schneizel struck him again.

"Ah!"

Julius sunk back into the covers, fingers loose around the sheets, panting.

Schneizel got up and walked around the bed, his gloved hands toying with the whip.

"I always thought Sir Kururuugi was the possessive type."

Schneizel's lashes had been precise. Blurry lines cut through all of the bite marks left on Julius's shoulders and back by Suzaku. Julius knew this, could feel it in his skin, and it made his fingers reaffirm themselves in the sheets.

"You would never be so childish, would you, Prince Schneizel?" He bit out. "To feel the need to mark your property with as fleeting a thing as bruises?"

Schneizel hummed, still circling the bed, admiring the ethereal whiteness of Julius's body against the purple sheets. "You look like you've been covered in sakura petals." He said finally, stopping. "I'm just adding the branches."

He brought the whip down once more, with gusto this time - with the intent to hurt. Julius screamed. The hit leaving him twitching and breathing hard, with a little ragged moan at the end of every exhale.

Schneizel smiled to himself as he watched his captive's shoulders shake and his fingers knead at the covers.

"I really would rather you enjoy this. It's barely any fun for me." Schneizel was suddenly behind him, his chest lay across his back, and there was a gloved finger between the grooves of his ass.

Julius moved to struggle but Schneizel's free hand slid up his throat and gripped his jaw. He swallowed hard and his Adam's apple pushed in defiance against Schnizel's palm.

The hand at his rear was suddenly gloveless and coated in lubricant.

The smooth and cool liquid followed Schneizel's finger deep inside of Julius. He turned rigid at the intrusion, affronted noises of protest making their way out through his gasping teeth.

It was all too fast and he was held too firmly - and anyway should he refuse the Knight of Round status would elude him, and Suzaku's reputation and career would be ended. Still, when Schneizel withdrew Julius pushed him away and swung around on the bed to face him. Still naked, he brought up his knees up to his chest and glared with his one unshielded eye.

Schnizel only smirked.

It didn't take much mammoth intellect to discern the hungry, expectant look in the white prince's eyes. His white clothes were suddenly sliding off his shoulders and to the floor. His erection standing rigid again his stomach with a clear drop of pre-cum sitting in the slit.

"Struggle and your wish will never be granted." Schneizel reminded him.

At that Julius found himself totally pliant to Schneizel's hands as his knees were gripped and his legs spread. As Schneizel pushed into him Julius focused only on the burning line of tears held beneath his eyepatch as it ran down his face in one hot streak.

I'm sorry, Suzaku...

"I'm sorry, Suzaku, but it's time to die!"

The Guren grabbed the head of Lancelot in it's silver talons and went to crush. The Geass placed on Suzaku by Lelouch activated and the instinct to live powered his escape. He blasted the two apart with the laser gun attached to his right arm. Kallen was thrown back with a massive dent in the chest of her machine. She swore, manoeuvring away and out of the blast range of the Lancelot, who struggled to it's huge feet.

"I won't let you reach the Embassy!" Suzaku growled. I won't let you reach him! He swung around to lead her away from the city.

"Oh~! You're not getting away!"

Kallen jumped into the air, bringing down the full weight of her Guren onto Lancelot's back, pushing it into the dirt and pinning it down with an explosive crash.

No!

Suzaku struggled to free himself from the weight. Lancelot's controls jammed and writhed in mechanical spasms.

"Did you come again, Lelouch?"

Schneizel purred, stroking a hand across Julius who lay twitching and huffing loudly atop the sullied bedsheets.

Lelouch? Julius wondered through the post orgasm haze. That name again...who...who is Lelouch?

"Whoops, thats not your name anymore, is it?" Schneizel slipped his hand beneath Julius's chin, lifting his head and positioning himself behind him. "Father has such theatrical tastes. Me? I would just have left you blank and kept you as a mindless doll...for my own pleasure of course."

He slipped into Julius again in one easy, well lubricated motion.

"A-Ahhhh~!"

Julius moaned, pushing back mindlessly into Schneizel.

Schneizel groaned, adjusting their position so he could reach around and fix a black ball gag between Julius's lips. The soft leather straps pressed into Julius's cheeks.

"Mmph~!"

His slim white body trembled with Schneizel still inside him, he made an encouraging squirming motion and pushed out a gargled, muffled "please."

Schneizel obliged by beginning to thrust slowly.

"Mmph!"

"You're doing well. Keep pleasing me and you will have your promotion to Knight of Rounds."

Julius ground his ass against Schneizel, moaning through the holes in the ball gag which was growing slippery with drool.

"You like that idea, don't you?" Schneizel taunted, crunching the cartilage of Julius's ear in his pearly whites, eliciting a long and gasping moan which was breathed through the holes in the gag.

He chuckled softly, reaching around to stroke Julius's length and increasing the velocity of his thrusts.

"Power excites you. It always has." He breathed, feeling Julius's movement become more desperate and shameless. "In that respect, we are similar..."

Julius pushed out a defiant, "No."

"No?" Schneizel chuckled, smiling wickedly and bringing his voice to a low and devious whisper. "Your body is betraying you."

"Zero has betrayed you, Kallen. His strategies are what's allowed us to beat you back!" Suzaku growled from where he was pinned.

She laughed, low and guttural. "I think we both know he would never betray the Black Knights - willingly."

The energy ball that had been growing in her palm blasted towards him with little time to dodge; searing across the Lancelot's white armour as Suzaku pulled aside. The ensuing blast freed him from her grasp but he only managed to make it a few hundred feet away before crashing into the decimated landscape, the metal hands of his fighter grinding through the rocks in search of purchase.

Kallen pressed the Guren's foot down on Lancelot's back, holding it into the ground again.

"Kallen, wait!" Suzaku cried, the Geass placed on him burned in red rings around his eyes. "Remember Kaminejima Island? You cast aside your allegiance to Zero! You let me take him to the Emperor! I'm your only tie to him now!"

She laughed wickedly. "Aren't you forgetting someone? Someone whose bond with Lelouch runs far deeper than either of ours?"

Suzaku felt his heart freeze in his chest. He glanced up in horror in the direction of St. Petersburg. "Not her..."

Suddenly from above came a huge creak of metal on metal. The weight of the Guren lifted, and Suzaku looked up to see it held between two other Knightmares.

"Sorry we're late! You looked like you were having some trouble there!" Came the cheery voice of Gino.

"You really are a masochist, Suzaku. Letting her sit on you like that..." Said Anya.

"Let me go, Britannian scum!" Growled Kallen, trying to pull her Guren from their grip.

"Whoa now! Settle down there!" Gino laughed. "Suzaku, you want us to handle this?"

"Please."

"No problem, you get back and make sure your boyfriend is alright!"

"Boyfriend?" Kallen exclaimed.

"Gino!" Suzaku spat, flustered.

"Oh, sorry was that a secret? I thought everyone knew."

"They do now." Commented Anya.

Feeling like his brain was going to melt from embarrassment, Suzaku took off towards the city.

Kallen, who was still struggling vehemently in the grasp of her enemies, roared in frustration as Suzaku's white shape speeded away. Engaging the blaster on her clawed hand, she wrenched it out of Gino's hold long with the full force of her body inside Guren's cockpit. It was just long enough to fire a stream of molten red energy at the retreating Suzaku.

The blast caught his flight gear sending the Lancelot tumbling from the sky.

The white knight smashed into the rocky terrain, mangling the metal tendons in one of its legs.

As the dust settled and the blaring red error messages brought Suzaku back to his senses, he lifted his head from the glass control screen with a pained moan. Streams of blood ran through his green eyes and down his face from a gash in his forehead. A blue bruise was blooming on one tanned cheek. He tugged at the controls in his hands but the Lancelot only jerked with little movement.

"Ugh...d-dammit..."

Suzaku blinked through the crimson washing his vision to St. Petersburg's silhouette in the distance. Grounding his teeth together he pushed himself up and opened the cockpit.

"S-Suzaku, what are you doing?" Lloyd's voice bleated through the intercom.

He was ignored as shakily, Suzaku climbed out of the pod and slid down into the crater the Lancelot had created when it crashed.

"Suzaku! You can't just LEAVE the Lancelot in the middle of a war zone! Get back in it! We'll send someone to pick you and it up! Suzaku!" Lloyd cried in despair as the knight started to scale the shallow walls of the crater. "Suzaku you might have a concussion, please get back in the Lancelot!" Cecil begged.

He ignored both of them, sights fixed on the city.

I want Lelouch to remain the same. I want him to stay with me! If he gets his memory back...he'll leave! How selfish of me...but, then he cast a selfish spell on me too. To live.

The glowing rings of Geass blared in his blood rimmed eyes.

His walk became a jog, became a run, became a sprint.

This selfish act of mine makes us even, Lelouch...!

Through the corridors of the Embassy Julius slunk back to his room, keeping to the walls and leaning on them every few moments for strength. He held his black shirt together at the throat, as though the buttons were not enough to hold his body together. The jewel of his eyepatch swung languidly with each heavy step. His body ached in ways he never thought possible, but with it came the twisted sense of accomplishment. He was one step closer to becoming a Knight of Rounds, and he had protected Suzaku's career.

Suzaku...Julius was finally outside his own room. He smiled softly. I can do anything with him by my side.

He unlocked the door and slipped inside, locking it behind him. Upon flicking on the light switch he was greeted by a peculiar visitor.

"Welcome back."

Julius gave a frightened start. Sprawled out on the huge satin clad bed was a woman. Her white skin tight body suit followed her slim lines as she played absently with the satin and her lime green hair spread out like a huge fan above her head.

"Who are you?" Julius barked.

"You know, somewhere deep down inside you." She said, tilting her head. Her fringe shifted, revealing red wings.

Julius gave a start and his hand went immediately to his covered eye.

"Are...Are you the one whose been calling to me? In my dreams and...the other day during the battle?" He asked.

The mysterious woman stood and beckoned him over with an open hand.

Julius felt suddenly compelled, and started towards her.

"Lelouch Lamperouge. Do you know the name?" She said.

"No, but it seems to be haunting me lately. It's in my mind and on everybody's lips."

She smiled softly as he came to rest in front of her. He gazed down at her, lost. She reached up and slid her fingers beneath his eyepatch, lifting the soft leather up and over his head. He let her without resistance and, blinking, opened both eyes to reveal the same wings that painted her forehead sparkled in his once hidden eye.

"Whose name is it?" he asked, quietly.

"Yours." She replied.

His face was one of mysterious pain.

The woman raised herself onto her heels, letting the eyepatch slip from her fingers.

"Now tell me mine." She took his face in her gloved hands, and kissed him deeply on the mouth.
