OMG I AM SO SORRY! I haven't updated in like FOREVER! And I know that I haven't really written really dramatic or cliff-hangy chapters, but I just wanted to get the idea of the new Austin and the new, more feisty, Ally. Remember when she rejected Elliot nicely at the beginning of this story? Look at her now! Hey, that's a song! LOOK AT ME NOW, LOOK AT ME NOW oh, I'M GETTING PAPERRRR! Lol, don't judge me.. Anyways, those boring filler chapters may come soon again. But I promise, this one isn't a filler ;)

CHAPTER 10

Ally's POV

Ok. Something's not right. Wait, you guys don't know what happened? Ok, let me rewind.. *makes weird rewind noise* BADOODLEOODLEOOP

- FLASHBACK –

"Ok, ok. I'm trying my hardest. Stop yelling at me, C!" I am currently listening to Brooke talk to some girl over the phone. Don't jump to conclusions, ok?! I just overheard yelling, went to go see if everything was alright and saw Brooke with a scared expression on her face. Who could C be? Could it be…? Nah..

I heard some mumbling on the other end of the phone call. "I'll see what I can do, okay? It just takes time!"

Then I heard a little more than yelling. So loud, I could understand it!

"Ya know what, Brooke?! I'm tired of you waiting. I'M COMING TO L.A. RIGHT NOW!" I heard the mysterious voice screech from Brooke's iPhone. Wait, who's coming? A relative of Brooke's? A friend of Brooke's? I friend of mine? …. An enemy of mine?

- END OF FLASHBACK –

I've spent almost the whole day thinking about who that person could be. I honestly have no clue. It might be none of my business actually, but that voice was familiar. A little too familiar for my liking…

Austin's POV

"Brooke, babe. You promised you'd do this sometime."

"I'm just not ready, okay?" My girlfriend said.

I sighed. "I promise. Once you do it once, you'll want to do it again and again! Come on!"

"Austy,-"

"Brooke. We are going on that WATER SLIDE!"

We are in the line for the huge waterslide at Soak City and she wants to leave now!? Ah, hell nah!

Wait.. what were YOU GUYS thinking?

Anywhoozles, (A/N Whoa. Hold up, Blondie. Dats my thing. Back off.)

Sorry, Sarah! AnyWAYS, (A/N Thank you.) Our relationship is going well! We are nominated for the most romantic couple at the Teens Choice Awards! Wanna know why? Huh? Well, yeah, um, I HAVE NO IDEA!

She always wants to go on public dates where all the cameras can catch us. I'm serious, I think she'd rather date the camera than me. I don't get why she likes being public with our relationship. I like to keep it private and romantic. Like how Ally and I used to hang out.

I kind of miss the days where Ally and I would hang out together and just be lazy. No fancy hangout time. Just food and Netflix is how we rolled. Preferably Pizza Hut.

We'd talk, laugh, and just be real with each other. With Brooke, I feel like I have to be someone I'm not and fake. I hate that. But hey, it's what Brooke wants. And I should give her what she wants, right?

Because if you don't, she will slap you, REALLY HARD, and go get it herself. (A/N The beach? Last chapter? Slapped Austin and left to get Ice-cream? Get it now?)

I just wish she could act more like Ally. Funny, cheerful, not clingy, and, well, real.

STOP IT AUSTIN! YOU HAVE TO FORGET ABOUT HER!

Speaking of Ally, she has been acting really pissy for some reason lately. (A/N Hmmm. Wonder why?)

Whenever I bring up Brooke, not only does she roll her eyes, but Trish, Dez, and even Ross do also. What do they have against me and Brooke? Why can't they be supportive like real friends?

Well, they aren't being real friends, then.

Ally's POV

Now, Austin isn't being a real friend.

I can't even think of the last time he and I hung out. Was it June? I don't know. But I'm not sitting here, waiting for him to decide who he wants to hang out with! I have Trish, Dez, and Ross to spend time with. Even though it won't be the same as it is when I'm with Austin.

STOP IT ALLY! YOU HAVE TO FORGET ABOUT HIM!

I CAN'T! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I think I do… I'm your mind.

My mind?

Duh. Who else would I be?

My dad calling me?

NO! Oh wait. Yeah. It is. NEVER'MIND'. Haha get it? NeverMIND? No? Okay. I'll try to restrain from puns.

"Hey dad!" I spoke through my new iPhone Ross got me. Isn't he the sweetest?

"Hey sweetie! How's L.A going?"

I mentally groaned. I can't let him know what's going on! He'll band me from boys forever..dang.

"Uh, great!"

"Ah ah ah! I heard an 'Uh,'. Something must be wrong. Is it Dez?", he sighed. "I told him if he ate that lamp that he would feel internal pain but nooooooo, lamps are TASTY!"

"DAD!" I heard him mumble an apology and continued. "Ok, first of all, I need to have a talk with Dez…", I said. He ate a lamp? "And second of all, I'm fine. Dad, I'm just tired."

He sighed. "If you say so."

"I said so. Literally, like 3 seconds ago."

He chuckled. "Ok. Goodnight sweetie."

"Night dad."

I hung up the phone and laid on my bed.

What did I do wrong for this to happen to me? What have I done so wrong?

"Hey. You okay?" I heard a blondie from the doorway say.

"I'm fine, Ross." He came over to me and sat down on my bed with Cocoa, my little dog.

"You sure don't seem like it…" he said. I playfully punched his arm and said "I'm fine."

"You said that so flatly, dude. Something's wrong. And I have a feeling what."

"Everyone knows it." I sighed. "Except for him."

By this point, he had his arm around me, comforting me. We sat there in comfortable silence for a moment.

"Hey," he spoke up, lifting my chin with his two fingers. "Don't let this boy bring you down, okay? He doesn't deserve you. You're beautiful, smart, talented, and funny. Don't let something as stupid as a dude making a bad decision bring you down."

We were gazing into each other's eyes at that moment, right then and there. And then, before I could even count to 3, we were leaning in. Closer and closer and closer. Our lips were about to touch.

"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!?"

Ooooooo, cliff hanger! Told ya! Ok so question time! Who is C? What's Brooke's relationship with C? Who saw Ross and Ally almost kiss? Stay tuned for the next chapter. PLEASE REVIEW! I will post the already-written Chapter 11 if we get to 55 reviews! Okay, later.
