Herbology or Dark Arts?

A/N: Two chapters. I've been doing that a lot huh? No complaints though, right? XD

A/N2: Omg some of you might hate me for the thing I do in this chapter! Don't worry it doesn't stay that way for long. I think.

Harry sat down by a tree, it was Sunday afternoon, about two or three. He was hearing a pair of jeans and a hoody flipping through a book on Herbology.

"Hey Neville what's this one?" Aurora asked as she lifted a plant out of the water. She was standing a little bit deeper into the water, which was up to her knees now, than Neville.

"Amazing, that's amazing," Neville said looking at it.

"Neville you're doing it again," Harry said, Aurora just squatted a little to pull some more plants out of the water.

"Rory, you're hairs getting wet," Neville said. Aurora stood up straight.

"Oh, you're right," she said, and she tied her hair into a bun, and then sat right into the water, getting her purple shorts and her black shirt wet, looking for plants.

"Really, you're mad. Do you want to get soaked?" Neville asked.

"It's just water Nevy. I'm not going to die," Aurora said, looking for more plants, and putting them into buckets to put away for later. Ingredients for her potions.

"Really, you two are strangely close to each other. You're not dating behind my back are you?" Harry asked. Neville blushed.

"Course not Harry. I would tell you if I were," Neville said and Aurora giggled. Then Neville waved and went back to looking at his plants. Aurora who was sitting in the water looked at Ron, Hermione and Ginny as they walked up to Harry. She got out of the water and stood next to Harry.

Hermione walked up to Harry and Aurora.

"Ronald wants me to tell you, that Seamus told him, that Dean told him, that Pravati told him, that Hagrid's looking for you," Hermione said.

"Well you can… What?" Harry asked. Hermione just awkwardly smiled and walked to Ron and said something then walked back.

"Dean said that Pravati said… Don't make me say this again. Hagrid's looking for you," Hermione said and turned to walk away.

"Well you can tell Ron that_" Harry started and Hermione whipped around.

"I'm not a bloody owl!" she yelled and took Ginny and walked away. Ron following. Aurora smacked Harry on the back of the head.

"Hey! It's not my fault Ron's beening like this," Harry said.

"Don't encourage him you dolt," Aurora said. She walked back to the edge of the lake, where her shoes where, and put on her socks and boots; "come on Nevy."

"Okay," Neville said, and grabbed his bucket that he put together, and Aurora grabbed hers. Then she grabbed Neville's hand and tugged him along.

"Really, they act like their two," Aurora said as they were walking to Professor Sprout, so they could leave the water plants there.

"Well, Ron just feels betrayed. I'd be sad if my best friend was doing something dangerous and didn't tell me," Neville said.

"I mean I get that. But does he have to be so stupid. He's not talking to Harry. Boys, really," Aurora said, swinging her and Neville's hands back and forth.

"Not like girls are any less confusing," Neville said.

"Shh, there are things about girl, even I don't want to know," Aurora giggled.

"You're silly you," Neville said looking at Aurora.

"Baby, I was born this way," Aurora said, looking at Neville. Neville laughed and looked ahead, but stopped. Aurora tilted her head, and then looked ahead. Draco was standing there looking at Aurora with a look on his face. Then his glance went from her face to her hand, which was laced with Neville's.

"What you doing with him?" Draco asked Aurora.

"Chilling," Aurora shrugged.

"You really don't pick good company. Well at least he's a pure-blood. Better than Granger," Draco said.

"Oh please. Neville's ten times the wizard you could ever dream to be," Aurora said, Draco scoffed.

"Yeah, sure. And what's with that?" Draco ask, pointing out their hands; "You dating him or something?"

"I am!" Aurora said angry; "Because Neville's a great person. Better than you for sure!"

"Oh please. You're so just saying that to make me mad. Not that I care what you do," Draco said.

"Please, then why ask? Why kiss me?" Aurora asked, Draco sneered.

"I was messing with you," he said plainly.

"Then you shouldn't care that I'm dating Neville," Aurora shrugged.

"I don't, but I still don't believe you," Draco said.

"And why not?" Neville asked, getting over the shock that Aurora said they were dating.

"Because she's too good for you," Draco said.

"Then who's good enough for her? You Draco? With your big crush on her? You're just jealous of me cause she's my girlfriend. I am ten times the wizard you are," Neville said. Aurora smiled at Neville confidence, even if it wasn't there often.

"Jealous? Of you? Ha, that's funny Longbottom. And I don't care that you're dating Aurora, which I still don't believe. And I don't like her," Draco said, crossing his arms. Aurora smirked and dropped her bucket.

"Then you don't care if I do this?" Aurora asked. She turned Neville to face her, and stood on her tip toes, pulling Neville down a little, and kissed him. After a few seconds she pulled away; "I mean, because you don't like me and all."

Aurora smiled when she saw the look on Draco's face. He looked a mix of, shocked, angry and wanting to kill Neville, and a bit jealous. Aurora picked up her bucket and looked at Neville, who just froze looking shocked himself. She giggled and laced her fingers with Neville's again and tugged him off.

When they were far enough Aurora laughed.

"Did you see the look on Malfoy's face?" she asked Neville, who was still shocked; "Oh Neville. I'm sorry! I didn't mean to make you kiss me!"

"N-no. It's fine. Just my first kiss and all. Nothing important," he said.

"Oh my god. I'm as bad as Draco. I took your first kiss. And I made Malfoy think you're my boyfriend. Now everyone's going to think we're dating. I'm such a bad person," Aurora said.

"No it's fine," Neville smiled down at Aurora; "I mean, not only did I get to kiss an awesome person, I got to make Malfoy jealous. And if it bugs Malfoy, I say we keep this fake relationship up!"

"Why not just make it a real one? I mean Harry did say that we look like it," Aurora said.

"Sure!" Neville said and they went off on their separate ways after dropping their buckets off in the green houses.

It was dinner and Aurora took a seat in-between to Neville and Hermione. Hermione knew all about their relationship by now. Aurora just snuggled closed to Neville, a bit cold, and looked at the paper on the table Neville was trying to work out.

"What cha doing?" Aurora asked, grabbing Neville's shoulder, wrapping it around herself, so she could see better. Neville looked down at her and chuckled.

"Potions homework. I wanted to do it now, that way I could get it over and done with faster. But I don't get it," Neville said.

"Want me to help you?" she asked, Neville nodded.

"Okay, you two are really close, I get that. Must you act intimate if you're not dating?" Harry asked sitting across from Aurora, Ron reluctantly took the seat next to him.

"We are dating," Aurora said proudly and Neville, who said it with her, said it shyly.

"What! No I disapprove, get away from my sister! So help me, I will hex you!" Ron said, jumping to his feet. Aurora kept her hold on Neville, keeping him from running away.

"Shut up Ron. I can do whatever I want. And it's Neville; do you think he's suddenly going to try to get in my pants? No he's too sweet for that," Aurora said bluntly. Neville blushed at the thought, and looked back at his homework.

"I guess that's true. But watch you're back Neville. If you do anything," Ron said, narrowing his eyes. Aurora rolled her eyes and looked at what Neville was writing.

"You need to add the snake fangs before the porcupine quills Nevy," Aurora said, Neville looked at the work sheet, and then he just said oh.

"Ewe. You guys are cute," Harry said, Aurora just shot him a playful glare. She looked past him to see Draco glaring at her and Neville and snuggled closer. Neville didn't really notice he was too busy trying to figure out his potions work.

Aurora and Harry were walking to Hagrid's hut at night. Harry had his invisibility cloak and Aurora had weekend detention and detention every other day too.

"Ah, Harry, and Aurora, come on then," Hagrid said as he led them through the forest, that in the three days she had detention with Hagrid, she's gotten to know so well.

"What's up Hagrid?" Harry asked; "Where are you taking me?"

"You'll see soon enough," Hagrid said.

"What's with the flower?" Aurora questioned.

"And did you come your hair?" Aurora said.

"As a matter of a fact, I did," Hagrid said.

"Hagreed?" A heavy accent sounded and Hagrid walked a bit faster. But then turned around.

"Clock on. You too Aurora," Hagrid said, and Harry wrapped the cloack around him and Aurora.

"But I'm supposed to be here," she said lowly and then Hagrid walked up to Madam Maxime. Then they started talking sweetly to each other. Aurora and Harry jut made a face.

"Awh, I'm not like that with Neville am I?" Aurora asked.

"Just a bit love," Harry said, and Aurora scrunched her nose.

"Come on, I want to show you," Hagrid said, and he lead her over to a bush, Harry and Aurora followed, and behind the bush were four large crates. Fire breathing out of all of them. Maxime stepped closer and Harry pulled the cloak off.

"Dragons? That's the first task?" Harry asked in horror.

"Now listen Harry. They're just misunderstood creatures," Hagrid said, and the crates fell off, revealing a cage. The horn-tail dragon breathed fire in Aurora and Harry's direction.

"But I must say, that horn-tail is one piece of work. Ron nearly fainted when he saw them," Hagrid said.

"Ron was here?" Harry asked.

"Of course. Didn't Ron tell you? His brother Charlie brought him from Romania," Hagrid said, and Harry looked at the Dragons for a bit longer.

"No he didn't," Harry said, upset and walked off. Aurora just kept looking at the magical creatures. Now she was afraid for Harry.

Dragons, were the first task.

A/N: Omg okay, I do love Neville, but I don't ship him with anyone other than Luna… normally. This is kind of just, omg XD. Well a twist. But no one really dislikes this right? Ugh, I can just imagine, losing like half the people who read my story XD. Haha, well this is a Draco/oc fic, and Neville and Aurora probably won't be dating for long. So yeah.
