Author's note Hey guys it's Fairy shall we see what happens next.
Jack, Elsa, and Bunny all busted through the ground in North's work shop. Bunny landed on his feet, of course, while Jack and Elsa did more of a face plant.
"I think I like North's portals better then your holes." Jack said bitterly as he rubbed his head.
"Umm, Jack where are we?" Elsa said, climbing to her feet.
Jack and the Easter Kangaroo (as she lovingly deemed him in her head because she refused to acknowledge him as the Easter Bunny) turned their heads in shock.
"Elsa, what are you doing here?!" Jack screeched.
"I told you I wasn't ready to let go."
"You sang l-"
"Don't." she said holding up her finger, flurries coming off it.
"Crikey, would you two shut up?" Bunny fixed his gaze on Elsa. "How did you get here, little missy?"
"I just threw myself in that...thing. Now tell me where I am!"
"2015. Modern time. Where you definitely should not be." Jack nonchalantly replied, like Elsa didn't just time travel centuries ahead of her own. "Currently, you're in the North Pole. Home of Santa Claus. Speaking of which, where is old North anyway?"
As if on cue, North comes strolling in with Tooth and Sandy. "Jack! Glad to see you're back. Who is this young lady?"
Elsa gaped at him. He was Santa Claus? She studied the tattoos on his arms. He looked more like a mafia boss than a jolly old man who brought presents to children.
"This is Elsa. She's not from here." Jack said vaguely, trying to think of a way to bring Elsa back. His thoughts were interrupted when he was pelted by a sand ball. He glared at Sandy.
Sandy pointed at the moon.
"The Man In The Moon, long time to see old friend. What is news?" North questioned the glowing sphere.
"Man in the Moon?" Elsa squeaked.
"Friend," Jack grumbled.
A glowing crystal rose from the floor.
"What's that?" Elsa inquired, coming over to Jack in her unease.
"We're getting an other guardian!" cried Tooth as she flitted about the room.
"The last we got a guardian, we almost died. One of us did die." Jack pointed out, wincing when Sandy threw another sand ball at him.
"That is true, so Man In Moon must sense some new evil." As he said that an unrecognizable shadow was cast across the floor.
"Please not the groundhog, please not the groundhog, please not the - " Bunny prayed, ignoring the shadow.
"Is that all you care about?" snapped Tooth," there's someone threatening the kids and all you can think of is the groundhog."
"I care about the children, but I care about the groundhog not becoming a guardian even more." Bunny replied.
Tooth opened her mouth to reply, but an image of Elsa appeared, interrupting her. They all turned to the blonde.
North walked up to her and said, "Bright eyes."
"Strong teeth." added Tooth as she put her hands in Elsa's mouth.
"Functioning nose." said Bunny
"What the f - " Elsa broke free and covered her mouth.
North nodded happily, "Yes, yes, she will do wonderfully for our Jack!"
"Wait, is she a guardian now? And stop that! The world could possibly be ending and you're only concerned with pairing us together in your heads?"
They nod.
"What's a...guardian?" Elsa finally asks.
"It's someone who is chosen by the Man in Moon to protect the children of the world." said North.
"It's an honor, er, Mr. Claus. But - "
"Call me North."
"I have a kingdom to run, and a little sister who's about to get married to worry about. I can't stay here."
"She's right. We have to send her back, but the problem is how. Time travel is a tricky thing."
"But what would they think when their queen goes missing. They probably already found out."
Jack threw an arm around her shoulders. "I don't know, but we'll think of something. Until then, you'll be an honorary guardian."
She thought for a bit and nodded, "Um, but can I be seen since I didn't die?"
"Uh...probably not. Since you're technically already dead."
"That's not very assuring."
"Anyways, did anyone recognize that shadow?"
"It looks like it could be a girl, or a boy with some long locks. Hard to tell these days." Bunny said.
"The Man in the Moon needs to upgrade to an actual picture, or a drawing at least." said Tooth
North walked to Jack and said, "Do you think you can go to see if there is any thing around Jamie's?"
"Why Jamie's?"
"If this new evil is anything like Pitch, the first thing they will do is destroy the last light." He said seriously with a hand on Jack's shoulder.
Jack glanced at the globe. The lights were all there, but a sense of dread was forming in Jack's stomach.
"Alright, besides I haven't seen him in a while." He turned to Elsa.
"You're going to need a makeover. Just in case people can see you."
"Excuse me?"
"You need new clothes. No one walks around in an ice dress these days." North explained.
Elsa looked slightly offended, but followed them to North's sleigh. Tooth had dug out some clothes for Elsa and gave them to her. A sweater, a pair of jeans, and sneakers.
While Elsa changed in the back, Jack stepped onto one of the runners in front of the sleigh.
"Ready?" He called to Elsa.
"Yeah!" She answered.
"Hold on!"
The sleigh took off and Elsa screamed the entire way there.
North dropped them off at Jamie's house and then departed, leaving Jack to handle the situation. Elsa promptly decided to hurl in a bush.
Jack waited until Elsa was finished and gently lifted her. They flew up to Jamie's window.
Alighting on the sill, Jack opened the window and pushed Elsa through.
"Are we breaking into a kid's house?" She hissed.
"No, and if so only to save his life. Where is he, anyway? He's a teen now, they're always locked up in their room."
"Why would they be locked up?"
"In this day and age, kids are inside by choice. Mostly because of the internet."
"The what?"
"Oh, boy. How do I explain this...? Okay, you see, the internet is this magical - "
"Oh, witchcraft."
"...Sure." he smirked.
They heard footsteps.
"Go hide in the closet." Jack ordered.
"What? Why?"
The steps were getting closer.
"Now!"
She hurried to the closet as the door squeaked open. Jack stayed perched on the windowsill with his staff propping him up, not worried. If it wasn't Jamie or his sister, they couldn't see him.
A girl opened the door. A girl he didn't recognize. She was rather short with unkempt brown hair. Her golden eyes were heavily outlined in black eyeliner. She wore a white shirt with a black pocket over her heart and a black skirt. She looked normal enough, but Jack sensed an overwhelming amount of darkness coming from her.
"Who are you?" He said, giving her a wary look.
Her ruby lips morphed into a sneer and an orb materialized in her hand. Before he could react, she lobbed it at him. He felt an excruciating pain and could literally feel the darkness coursing through his body. He fell to one knee.
"Good night, Jack Frost."
