DISCLAIMER: Sadly I don't Embry or Twilight, SM does
3 years later
"You're the most beautiful bride I've ever seen." Emily said with a soft smile.
Ryli sat staring in awe at her reflection, almost not believing that was actually her and that she was actually about to get married to the love of her life, her hero. If you'd asked her three years ago, if she ever planned on getting married she would've told you were crazy and honestly no one dared asked her cause not a single one thought she'd make it through the devastatingly heartbreaking breakdown she had. But of course if you looked at her now, you'd never know she'd been so close to killing herself, you'd never know she used to have bloodied cuts constantly scattered across her arms and legs, you'd never know there were quite a few months that she went without being sober, you'd never know she was bulimic, you'd never know she'd been suicidal, you'd never know she'd been through rehab, you would never know any of that just by looking at her or even talking to her for a few minutes. To know that you would've had to have been there through that time or else to you she would seem like a gorgeous girl who was beyond happy.
Sue walked in then and smiled, happy tears brimming in her eyes. Since the first day she'd met Ryli the young girl was like a second daughter to her, she took Ryli under her wing as loving mother, she was the who actually got Ryli into rehab and Ryli was never more thankful for Sue than that day.
"It's time." Sue said.
Emily hugged her sister-in-law and walked out towards Sam so they could start the ceremony. Billy rolled in and couldn't help but smile at young, pretty bride who seemed very nervous.
"You're not getting cold feet, now are you?" Billy teased.
"Of course not, with someone as wonderful as Embry, never. I couldn't ever give up on him, I owe him my life." Ryli said with a giggle.
The strands of 'Here Comes The Bride' drifted through the chapel and Ryli walked beside Billy as he walked her down the isle. Billy handed Ryli off to Embry and the ceremony began.
"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Embry Call and Ryli Uley" (AN: Ryli legally changed her last name to her brothers) "The two have prepared their own vows, before we hear them does anyone object to the marriage of these two." The minister said.
Everyone looked around, but not a soul stood or said a word, the rings were brought forward.
"Ryli, the day I first met you I knew that you the girl I wanted to spend my life with and I thought it would be easy to make it this point in our lives, but man was I wrong. The past three years for us have been the hardest struggle I've ever endured, there were times when I doubted that you really my soul mate but no matter how many times I thought that, I was proven wrong every time. You are my soul mate and I will never doubt that again, I love more than words can say." Embry said honestly.
Ryli blinked back tears as Embry slid the ring on her finger and there were soft awe's echoing through the chapel, along with some people sniffling.
"Embry, when I first saw you I got butterflies in my stomach and my heart felt like it was racing a million miles an hour and my breath caught in my throat. I always thought I knew what true love was, but I didn't until I met you. True love is the never losing the butterflies, the racing heart, the catching of the breath, sticking with each other through thick and thin and high and low. If I'd never of met you, if fate and destiny hadn't of found us the perfect couple, soul mates, I don't think I would ever know what true love is, I don't even believe I'd be here today. Because of you I found my new beginning and for that I love you more than you'll ever know." Ryli said with happy tears streaming down her cheeks.
She slid the ring onto his finger and the mostly teary eyed congregation cheered loudly for the young soul mates.
"By the power invested in me as a minister I now pronounce you man and wife, you may now kiss your bride." The minister said through his own happy tears.
Embry dipped Ryli down and kissed her passionately in front of everyone, which cause the entire chapel to erupt in cheers and awe's. Embry brought her back up, picked her up bridal style and carried his bride out of the chapel through a shower of flower petals.
That concludes the last chapter of New Beginnings, I really do hope ya'll enjoyed this story cause I honestly did love writing it. As I said I am planning on posting a new story soon, it might be up tonight I not 100% on that though. If would please review, favorite and subscribe. As always. ~ms. unpredictable2000
