Warnings: mild violence towards an adorable nine year old

Dad! Pa! Can we ride on the elephant? Can we, can we, pleeease?" Angie begged, pulling both her dads towards the line up. Steve and Tony laughed, following the girl. The line up was short enough that the trio was soon at the front. It helped that Tony was Tony and made sure that the zoo had minimal guests for today. Steve was surprised he hadn't bought the zoo. Angie was just happy she got to hang out with her dads. Steve, Tony and Angie were all led up onto the elephant, Angie giggling in delight. After riding the elephant, the trio walked around the zoo.

"Dad, Pa, can we go see the tigers?" Angie asked "Peter said they're really cool and I promised I would bring back pictures!"

"Of course" Steve smiled warmly. Angie beamed at her dads and pulled them along. As they approached the tiger pen, Angie's eyes went wide in amazement.

"Dad! Pa! Look at them!" Angie exclaimed, pointing at the tigers. One cub had wandered over to the fence, looking curiously at the spectators. Angie looked right back.

"Hey, aren't you Tony Stark?" Tony cringed and turned. While Tony and Steve dealt with the fan, Angie wandered off down the fence. She watched as the door to the pen opened. It seemed to be inviting her in. Angie walked in and seemed to be whisked away into a new world. The ground under her feet was soft and spongy as she walked. One of the tigers walked over and sniffed her. Angie giggled. The cub nudged her with its nose, causing the nine year old to smile and nudge it back. Soon, the pair was wrestling. There was a scream heard. Angie, who had been rolled onto her stomach, looked up in time to see a large paw swoop down. Angie ducked lower to the ground in fear as a full-grown tiger growled at her. Angie screamed and ran for the exit.

"Angie!" Angie heard her Pa's frantic call as she ran. Something sharp caught her on the back of her right hip, causing her to trip into the mud. Angie rolled over to see the tiger stalking up to her. Angie remembered a trick Peter had told her about armadillos. When in danger, they played dead and the predators usually left them alone. Angie went limp and stuck her tongue out the side of her mouth, playing dead. The tiger was nearly on top of her when the sound of a gunshot rang through the air and the tiger staggered away, a needle in its side. Steve ran over and picked his daughter up.

"Angie, are you okay?" Steve ran out. Medics were waiting. Steve let them work. Tony was furious. A man in a wheelchair rolled over.

"Is the girl okay?" he asked

"Who are you?" Tony demanded

"My name is Charles Xavier" the man said "I run a school for people with special abilities like your daughter" Tony glared at the man.

"Well, Chuck, what do you want?" Tony demanded

"I know how your daughter got into the pen" Xavier said

"How?" Tony asked

"A mutant by the name of Magneto let her in" Xavier informed

"Well, when I find this 'Magneto', he's dead" Tony growled "No one hurts my daughter"

"I have some people on the hunt for him" Xavier said calmly "My best people" Tony nodded and walked over. Tony wrapped an arm around Steve to comfort the soldier. Angie was getting sewn up. They were lucky she hadn't lost much blood, but she would still need to go to the hospital. Steve squeezed Tony's shoulder and the billionaire held him tighter.

Angie sat in her little hospital gown in her hospital bed eating ice cream. Suddenly, Peter ran in.

"Angie! Are you okay? What happened? Tell me everything!" Peter insisted

"Peter!" May chastised as she walked in after the boy "Angie needs to rest and recover"

"I'm okay, Aunt May" Angie smiled. Peter climbed up onto the bed across from Angie and the girl sat forward.

"When I was at the zoo yesterday, I was looking at the tigers when the pen opened. I went in to see if there was something wrong when one of the cubs started to tickle me. It pinned me, so its mom pulled it off and got mad at me for playing with her cub before dinner. So she attacked me. I ran, but not fast enough. Then BAM! I was on the ground. Pa jumped the fence and used a dart to knock the tiger out before saving me" Angie explained "I played dead, like you said some animals do" Peter nodded.

"You're so cool!" Peter exclaimed "Aunt May, can we go to the zoo?"

"No!" May exclaimed. Peter pouted.

"It wasn't as fun as it sounds" Angie admitted "The tiger didn't like me much"

"How'd you get into the pen?" Peter asked

"The door just opened by itself" Angie said "It was like magic"

"Maybe it was" Peter suggested "Or maybe it was science"

"You sound like my uncle" Angie laughed "Uncle Bruce loves science"

"You uncle Bruce is very kind" May said

"Not as kind as Pa though" Angie insisted "Uncle Bruce likes to scare Uncle Loki when Uncle Loki says he'll teach me how to conjure a bilgesnipe"

"What's a bilgesnipe?" Both Parker's asked

"It's really big, and scaly, and has big antlers" Angie described

"We don't have those here" Peter said

"Uncle Thor said we should be thankful, as they're repulsive" Angie said

"Well, now I want to see one!" Peter complained

"I could ask Uncle Thor to bring one back from Asgard next time he goes" Angie suggested

"Yes!" Peter exclaimed

"No. No giant beasts" May said firmly

"Aww" Both kids pouted.

"What about horses?" Angie asked "Horses aren't too big"

"What kind of horse?" May asked suspiciously

"An Asgardian one" Angie beamed "Totally safe" May sighed.

"Fine"

Two Weeks Later

Peter, Angie, May Parker and Loki all stood in an empty field with a horse in front of them. A horse with eight legs.

"Angela, you said a horse" May sighed

"It is!" Angie insisted as Loki helped the girl up.

"You lied" May accused

"I didn't lie, per say" Angie said "I just didn't tell the truth"

"It's fine, mortal" Loki said "Sleipnir is very well trained" May groaned as Peter was put behind Angie on the saddle.

"I can't believe a nine year old talked me into this"

"I can~" Angie sung
