Chapter 8: She's so Gone
Marie pulled herself out of bed, giving a small smile when she looked down at her 20 weeks size belly. She sighed out happily; glad to have this moment to herself. She could hear the faint sounds of Jacob and James sleeping in their room, and her baby was beginning to move inside of her. She could honestly say she was happy.
Logan hadn't bothered her since the whole 'I'm pregnant' thing. It was a relief. It had been 8 weeks since she snapped and told him she was carrying his baby- correction, her baby. But, she didn't care about Logan at the moment because she was content. She rolled over onto her side and smiled down at her slight baby bump. Over the past 8 weeks, she had gotten quite the baby bump. People could easily tell she was pregnant once more.
I gotta get out of bed, don't I? She sighed as she pulled her body into a sitting position. Kitty had said she had some news and wanted to talk to Marie. Bobby said he'd take the kids (including Marie's two) to the park.
The park wasn't too far from the school so Marie agreed.
Marie got out of bed and padded to the kitchen, figuring some fried eggs, grilled cheeses and bacon sounded like a fine breakfast. She began cooking the bacon, knowing it would take the longest. As Marie cooked, she kept her ears open and listening for any sounds to let her know that the boys were up.
The silence was wonderful.
She smiled as she cooked. Soon she started cooking the grilled cheeses, knowing they took the second longest. While she cooked, Marie let her mind wander. It went to Johnny, the slightly cute doctor who had been flirting with her. She didn't really like Johnny, it was more of, I want to get back at Logan sort of thing. And Logan seriously hated Johnny so it was working.
10 minutes later, the bacon was finished and so were the grilled cheeses. She spent the next 10 working on eggs. She had made enough in case Jubes decided to show up. When breakfast was ready, Jubes showed up baring some baby objects and Marie couldn't help the wide smile that graced her face. With Jubes in the apartment, it didn't take long for James and Jacob to come out of their shared bedroom to eat.
(A/N: Wow, so many 'J' names. O.O)
Marie served everyone and then sat down to enjoy her own food, her baby shifting in her womb. Jacob, even though he had just woken up, started talking happily to his Aunt Jubes about the plans for the day. "Bobby's takin' Jamie and meh ta the park, Auntie Jubes!" Jacob said excitedly. "Willy's comin' too!"
Jubes smiled at the boy, "Yeah?" Jacob nodded quickly, a wide smile on his face.
James rolled his eyes as he shoveled in his eggs. Marie smiled at the sight of her family. When breakfast was over, there was a knock on the door and there was Bobby, Kitty and their son William. James and Jacob rushed to get dressed before Bobby took them to the park. Kitty walked into the mini living room and sat down, while Marie took the chair and Jubes sat beside Kitty.
"Sorry 'bout the mess," Marie said, "Livin' with two boys ain't easy."
Kitty laughed gently. "I totally get that, I have a small boy and a large one."
I guess Bobby's messy too. Marie thought.
Jubes laughed too.
"So what brings yah here?" Marie asked while Jubes got some water for them all.
Kitty swallowed nervously before playing with the bottom of her shirt. "I'm…I think I'm pregnant again." Kitty started nervously. "And I don't know what to do. Bobby always is saying how much he wants more kids but he isn't the one who has to look after them, ya know? He also isn't the one carrying them or giving birth to them and then dealing with a newborn…you understand right?"
Marie did. However, with James and Jacob, Logan had always been a big part of their lives. He always woke up in the middle of the night to change diapers, change nappies and whatever else was needed. That included cuddles if that was all the baby needed. Logan even potty trained James and Jacob!
So Marie wasn't sure she completely understood where Kitty was coming from. When Logan and Marie had been together, it was a shared thing where they both parented. "Logan use ta help meh the best he could, but I get-cha 'bout the givin' birth and carryin' em around."
Kitty ran her fingers through her hair. "What should I do?"
"Havin' two kids is hard work. But it's so rewardin' Kitty." Marie tried to explain. "And then they have someone ta play with."
Jubes set the glasses in front of each woman and then sat down sipping on her own, mumbling about how she wished this was whiskey or bourbon. "Wanna go down ta Hank and see?" Jubes asked, tilting her head sideways.
Somehow, all three women ended up down there. The only way they convinced Kitty to go check if she was in fact pregnant, was if Jubes would as well and Marie would get an ultrasound. Hank took some blood samples from both women while Marie settled in on the bed. Hank tested Jubes' and Kitty's blood samples before he had the results.
"Kitty, you're 15 weeks pregnant." Hank said and the woman sighed heavily. "Jubilee, you are not pregnant."
"Told ya," Jubes smiled.
"Now let's check on baby Howlett, shall we?" Hank smiled.
Oh yeah, I haven't changed my name back….oh what's the point? I'm a Howlett. And so are all my kids. Marie nodded as she lifted her shirt so Hank could get to her baby bump. 5 minutes later, an image of her baby was on the screen. Hank looked at it before his eyes widened. Marie was scared. "Hank?" she asked worriedly.
Hank turned to Marie. "How do you feel about knowing the gender?"
"Sure," Marie figured it would be another boy.
Hank turned to look while Kitty and Jubes stood close to her, holding her hand. "How do we feel about a baby girl for a change?"
"Really?" she asked sounding very excited.
Hank nodded and Marie was smiling like an idiot.

With Johnny
Johnny was just leaving the library. He had been thinking about Marie lately. After their date, they had gone out a few more times over the past 8 weeks. He had taken her to the movies last time with her two boys. He wanted to know them and Marie didn't seem to mind, she actually looked happy.
They had gone to see Big Hero 6 and it was all very exciting.
While Johnny was leaving a big hairy man cornered him. Johnny was terrified.
"Leave MY mate alone! Got me bub?!" snapped the man.
"Wh-"
"Leave Rogue alone or I will gut ya!" Claws came from the man's hands and Johnny knew to stay away from this man. "Leave this school right now or else!"
Johnny didn't want to, but he knew he had no choice. In less than 20 minutes, Johnny had packed up and was gone.
And that is chapter 8. Shitty I know. And a baby girl! Who would have guessed? Any name suggestions?
Nobody asked to take over Run so I guess I'll keep writing it. Please don't expect many updates. I might just round this up quick because things are boring for me. Just a few more chapters I think. Does anyone think Marie will forgive Logan? And what baby gender should Kitty have? Love you all!
