Someone Cares ch. 10

Naruto was with Kyuubi at the tailor's. They were getting their tuxedos made. Naruto never wore a tux since their parents died and he didn't really like wearing one. They were always too tight around the collar. Naruto stood in the middle of the store with the tailor Iruka taking his measurements. Iruka is an old friend of the family and he owns his tailor shop. He can make a tuxedo like nobody's business and loves what he does.

Iruka is about 5'6 with tan skin, short brown hair that's always in a ponytail, brown eyes and a scar across his nose. Naruto always asked him where he got the scar from but Iruka would never tell him.

Iruka is a very cheerful and kind hearted person. Naruto always goes to him to talk about anything or just to rant and Iruka will let him without interruption. Iruka listens to Naruto rant about him being forced to go to the ball by Kyuubi and he didn't see the point of going.

"Naruto, stop complaining and hold still. Just go to the ball and have fun. I heard that you have a date with a beautiful young lady. Wanna tell me who it is?" Iruka asked smirking.

Naruto blushes like a tomato. He knew that Kyuubi was going to tell Iruka about him getting a date. Naruto didn't want Iruka to know because he was going to make a big deal out of it. He was going to play 21 questions with Iruka because he wants to know everything about Hinata or a possible relationship that will occur between them which isn't going to happen if Naruto has anything to do with it.

"Who is she?" Iruka asked curious.

"Just a friend from school" Naruto said rolling his eyes.

Let the games begin. "Is she nice? Do you like her?"

"She's alright and I must like her if I'm friends with her" Naruto said shrugging.

"Do you see yourself pursuing a relationship with this young lady?" Iruka asked fixing Naruto's collar.

"I don't have time for a relationship"

"Why not?" Iruka asked looking at Naruto.

"Because I have school and taking care of Kylie. I have a full plate on my hands and a relationship going to complicate that. Does that answer your question?" Naruto asked raising an eyebrow.

"Naruto, you're 17 years old and you need to live your life. You can't keep on holding to the pain that you keep inside. You need to let it go" Iruka said sadly.

Iruka knows about Naruto's life and how he's holding onto the pain of losing his parents. He wants Naruto let go and be happy. Naruto deserves that much. He's only torturing himself with the pain and he doesn't need to.

"Are we done?" Naruto asked fed up with this conversion.

Iruka sighed and nodded. Naruto goes into the dressing room to change. He comes back out and hands the tuxedo to Iruka. He takes it as Naruto leaves out of the shop. Iruka sighs because he knows that Naruto needs to open to someone. Naruto walks away from the shop with his hands in his pockets. Iruka had pissed him off with bring up his parents' death.

Why couldn't people leave him alone? Why couldn't they understand that he just wanted to be left along? Was that so much to ask for? What was so hard about? Naruto didn't want to let the pain go. If he lets the pain go, he would letting his parents go along with it. Naruto didn't want to let his parents go. They made him what he was now… well kind of.

He didn't like being angry all the time but he doesn't know how to be happy either. Naruto loves his sister Kylie because she was the only one that understands and sees through him. She maybe only 8 but she's wise for her years. He walks around as it starts to pour down rain.

"Well this is really helping my mood right now! Thanks a lot weather report!" Naruto thought sarcastically.

He continues to walk around as his clothes becoming soaked through and he was starting to shake from the cold. Naruto rubs his arms up and down in an attempt to stay warm. It wasn't working but it was better than freezing before getting home. Today just wasn't his day and Naruto sighed. He needed to get out of the rain.

"Naruto-kun?"

Naruto looked around and saw Hinata with a lavender umbrella over her head. What was she doing out here? She walks towards him and puts the umbrella over the both of them.

"What are you doing out here? You're going to catch a cold out here" Hinata said frowning.

"I c-could ask you the same t-thing. My b-b-brother ma-made me get m-m-my tuxedo refitted" Naruto said through chattering teeth.

"Come on, we're going to my house before you catch your death out here and don't argue with me because I'm a lot stronger than you think" Hinata said dead serious.

Naruto was surprised at Hinata. He never seen her being serious before and it was kinda turning him on. Wait… did he think that? What the hell is wrong with him? He wasn't supposed to turn on by some girl especially by Hinata. He barely knows her. Hinata grabs his wrist and drags him towards her house. It was a few blocks away but Naruto didn't mind. He loses some feeling in his feet though and he was completely wet.

"Stay here and I'll bring you some clothes to change into" Hinata said disappearing further into the house.

Naruto looks around and sees all the pictures over the walls. It was pictures of Hinata and Kurenai-sensei and they were very happy. Naruto was saddened a little bit because he wanted something like that with his own parent but knows that will never happen. Hinata comes back with a pair of grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt. She tells him where the bathroom and Naruto goes it.

He discards his wet clothes and turns on the hot water. Naruto sighs as the warm water hits his freezing skin. He never thought he would be happy about taking a shower but he was. Naruto turns the water off and changes into the clothes that Hinata gave him. Hinata takes his wet clothes and puts them in the dryer. Naruto sits on the couch and noticed that Kurenai-sensei wasn't there.

"Where's Kurenai-sensei?" Naruto asked curious.

"She and Asuma went to go see my grandmother and they won't be back for another 2 days" Hinata said from the kitchen.

She was making them something to eat. Hinata was making ramen because she loved the stuff. She poured the ramen into two bowls and brought them into the living room. Naruto took a bowl from Hinata and took a bite. Naruto froze before inhaling the ramen as fast he could. Hinata giggled. She was glad Naruto liked her food and started eating as well. 10 minutes later, Naruto ate 15 bowls with Hinata only eating 3 bowls. He was full and never ate that much.

"That was awesome. I didn't know that you could cook" Naruto said looking at Hinata.

"Well there's a lot you don't know about me" Hinata said smiling.

Naruto shuddered a little bit. He still a little bit cold and Hinata noticed. She climbed onto Naruto's lap and wraps his arms around herself. Hinata covers them with a large green blanket and snuggles up to him. Naruto was blushing a bright red. He wasn't expecting Hinata to do what she did and doesn't know what to do. Naruto has never been on this kind situation before. Hinata noticed how stiff Naruto has gotten and giggles.

"I noticed that you were still cold and the best to get warm is to share body heat. I can get up if you're uncomfortable" Hinata said looking up at him.

"N-No, I'm okay. I was… just surprised is all" Naruto said blushing.

"Okay" Hinata said turning on the TV.

They watched some TV for a while before falling asleep on the couch. Naruto stretched a little before waking up with a comfortable weight on his chest. He opened his eyes slightly and noticed a head of bluish black hair on his chest. Naruto closed his eyes again before they opened again in shock. Bluish black hair? He looked and saw Hinata sleeping on his chest.

What the heck happen last night? Naruto lifted the blanket up and their clothes were still on. He sighed a little bit in relief. Naruto was afraid that they might have done that they might regret later. He looked down at the sleeping Hinata and noticed how angelic she looks when she's sleeping. Hinata unconsciously snuggles up against him and Naruto smiles a little bit.

He wraps his arms around her waist and kisses the top of her head. Naruto noticed how long her eyelashes were and plump her lips were. He is finding her more and more beautiful by the second. Hinata's eyes flutter open and stare up at him. Naruto's breath was caught up his throat and couldn't form words at the moment. She smiles at him.

"Ohayo Naruto-kun, did you sleep well?" Hinata asked curious.

"Y-Yea, I slept fine. What about you?" Naruto asked blushing.

"Naruto-kun, you're blushing" Hinata said smirking.

"No, I ain't" Naruto said pouting.

"Yes, you are. Your face is red" Hinata said giggling at him.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me" Naruto said glaring.

"I'm sorry for laughing at you, Naru-kun" Hinata said smiling.

"Naru-kun?" Naruto asked raising an eyebrow.

"It's a nickname or would you prefer Naru-chan?" Hinata asked smirking.

"Hell no! I'll stick with Naru-kun. You're an evil little person" Naruto said frowning.

"You know what they say the best things come in small packages" Hinata said smiling.

Naruto rolled his eyes at her when the front door opens. The two of them froze in that instant to only see that it's only Nico. Nico was surprised to her best friend and Naruto in a comprising position.

"What the hell is going on here?" Nico asked frowning.

"Nico-chan, it's not what you think. We fell asleep on the couch" Hinata said blushing.

"Yo, it's nothing of my business… did you use protection?" Nico whispered into Hinata's ear.

Hinata was blushing like a cherry and Nico was laughing her butt off. She knew that Hinata wasn't going to use her virginity anytime soon but it doesn't mean Nico wasn't going to tease her about it. Hinata smacks her on the arm. She hates it when Nico does that to her.

Nico knows that Hinata doesn't want to lose her virginity until she found the right guy. Naruto rolls his eyes because he wasn't planning on sleeping with Hinata. He looks at Hinata and she looks back at him and smiles. Maybe having Hinata as a friend won't be so bad. Nico looks between them and is confused on what's going on.

"Oh Nico-chan, how was meeting Ino's parent?" Hinata asked curious.

"Surprisingly well, if you can believe that. Ino's mom likes me and her dad… he practically threatens me but he's okay with our relationship. So everything is cool" Nico said leaning against the back of the couch.
