Hello everyone. I'm back with an update about my life.
Remember that friend that deserted me and my boyfriend for a girl? Well around June he came to us saying that he finally came to his senses and realized that that girl was using him and dumped her for good. We were happy that we had our goofy friend back and made plans for a pokemon hunting vacation along with another friend for the fourth of July.
...
He never showed up.
We found out later that the girl 'convinced' him to come back. (When I mean convinced I mean she had her legs open.)
So we lost him again. This time though we are never going to forgive him. If he was willing to leave us for an easy girl who regualry cheats on him. well fine.
Sorry about that. But I needed to let that out. You think when you reach your twenties you leave you teenage drama behind.
With no further ado.
Here
Master," Sebastian's eyebrow twitched ever so slightly, "Is this really necessary?"
"Of course. I believe it is necessary."
Rosella counted the five dogs and lead them to the servant's carriage.
"Alright everyone. Be good little ones and hop in."
The German shepherds looked at each other and looked at the small girl. Eventually they obeyed and jumped in the carriage one by one.
Rosella clapped happily and gave them each a cookie bit as a reward.
The incident in Houndsworth was over. The demon hound was exposed as a hoax and it was time to go home. But Rosella refused to leave without the five dogs that were left behind after their master James was murdered. She didn't have the heart to leave them alone and unwanted in a town that feared dogs already.
Not after what happened to their friend.
She was surprised though that her mother and father allowed her to take the dogs. What were their motives?
"According to James's acquaintances, the dogs are well trained for hunting. It would be a waste if they were left without a proper caretaker," The earl smirked at Sebastian who was everything but thrilled at the thought of dogs in the manor.
Elizabeth did not mind. In fact, she rather enjoyed the thought of more noise in the manor. She grew fond of one dog in particular, a medium sized golden boy who acted like a puppy. Perhaps he was one but was maturing into one of the big dogs. she was scratching behind his ears and smiled when his tail began to wag.
The servants were happy but Sebastian was not. Unfortunately for him he had no say in the matter. But even if he did he could not disobey an order from his masters.
It was time to leave and Ash and Angela were seeing the family off.
Ash bowed in deep gratitude.
"thank you Lord Phantomhive. For everything."
Ciel just gave a nod in acknowledgement, "How is your face?"
The man stood up and gently touched his bruised check bone. He flinched at his own touch but he still smiled nonetheless.
"I am fine. Thank you sir."
Angela gave the departing dogs some leftover scraps for the journey and smiled when the four legged children gobbled them up and wagged their tails.
"There you go little ones. I hope your journey will take you far away from here."
The dogs barked as if they agreed.
With the goodbyes exchanged the two carriages trailed away. Leaving Hounsdworth and its villagers behind.
The five dogs looked on as their village gradually became smaller as the carriage moved forward.
They knew. They knew that they were leaving for good. Leaving behind the resting place of their original master, their friend. Leaving behind the place of hurt and sadness. Leaving behind the place they hated the most.
The village became smaller and smaller until it finally disappeared.
Disappeared from their lives forever.
Isn't rosella sweet :)
