Ashley began panicking inside as the pieces started to fit together. Oh my God, he's going to kill me, she was scared as hell. He rolled her around so that she was facing him, scratching her back roughly against the wall. Ashley tried to look him over to remember everything she could about him. She noticed he was only four or five inches taller than she was. He was wearing a black ski mask and all black clothes. She couldn't make out his eyes because of how dark it was, they were in the shadows, the only light coming from the main road around the corner. He put his gloved hand back over her mouth when she started to whimper involuntarily. With his other hand he held a gun underneath her chin, which felt cold and hard beneath her jaw bone. He pinned her lower body against the hard wall with his. She breathed heavily out of her nose as tears began to form in the corners of her eyes. She couldn't believe she had been so stupid, why had she never taken this seriously before, why didn't she text Jax she was on her way, why did she park so far away from everything? Her thoughts a jumbled mess swirling around, along with thoughts of her dying, here, like this.

"Why are you so dressed up?" he growled at her sadistically. She whimpered more underneath his glove and her body started to squirm, as much as it possibly could in the space between his hips and the wall. He pushed his body harder against hers and shoved his knee between her legs, spreading them and holding them apart. She started to cry and prayed that someone would come outside, maybe they would hear her or notice her car parked in the lot and realize she was not there. But they were probably all drunk and the only one who would even notice would be Jax. The man pulled his upper body away from her and ripped open the top of her dress, running the barrel of his gun over the tops of her breasts that were sticking out from her bra. She closed her eyes, frozen, knowing exactly how exposed she was as she felt the cold air on her chest. She tried to think of how she was going to get out of this, imagining what he could do to her, her mind searching for any option.

With her eyes closed she tried to listen, tried to think, when she felt him bite her chest. The pain was excruciating and she screamed out. "Shut the fuck up!" He yelled against her before pulling back and smacking her across the face with his gun. "I can kill you here and now if you aren't quiet."

Ashley closed her eyes again, the pain of the gun on her cheek was making her feel like she would pass out. A throbbing took over the whole left side of her face and chest before it became numb.

He was back at her chest and she struggled however she could. She felt her body go weak, you can't give up. She tried to pay attention to his voice, wondering if it sounded familiar.

"So you like to fuck bad boys?" he was growling again and his disgusting tone frightened her more, pushing her to another level she didn't think was possible, giving her a second wind to fight. Now she was moving, scared and determined. She frantically tried to push him off of her, all that she could but it was useless, he just pushed back, jamming his gun hard back up into her jaw. And then he laughed. He leaned his upper body hard into her, covering her mouth with the side of his forearm as he took the gun away from her chin. Ashley started to relax, thinking that maybe he was done. But then he took the barrel of his gun and pushed it under her dress and up between her legs. His hand tore at her underwear, ripping them away with one swift motion. He thrusted the gun hard up in her, causing her to scream out again, only to be muffled by his arm. He slammed her head harder into the wall. She winced with pain, barely able to maintain consciousness. He looked up at her and laughed again pushing it up more forcefully inside of her.

"What would happen if I pulled the trigger right now?" he whispered into her ear, "Do you like it?...I know you do." His breath was hot and wet. Ashley was crying silent tears, almost giving up any hope of help coming.

"Consider this your last warning," he whispered again slowly. Ashley cringed at the feeling of his breath, smelling alcohol and realizing he was capable of anything.

"Know that I can find you, you aren't safe anywhere." He ran his mouth up and down her neck before coming to a stop midway. He bit onto her neck causing her to scream a muffled scream again. Suddenly, she thought she heard some voices in the parking lot, could it be? They sounded far away but she decided to try and scream again. He relaxed his arm slightly, obviously trying to hear the voices too, giving Ashley the chance to bite him hard, causing him to yell out. He must have realized that he was going to be caught, dropping Ashley and quickly running off around the corner and down the road. Ashley dropped, sliding down the wall and pulling her dress closely around her shaking body. Her legs were like jello, weak and unable to hold her up. The shaking took over as her body moved uncontrollably. No, I want them to get him. Her ears strained to hear the voices, praying they heard their noises. She found some strength and shakily crawled around the corner of the building, noticing Jax and Tig walking towards her from the clubhouse entrance. It never seemed so far away.

"Jax!" Ashley yelled out, barely audible, her throat still burning from the pressure of his hold. But it was enough. He saw her and ran over.

"Holy shit!" he exclaimed, looking at her, "Ashley, are you ok? What happened?" She could see panic in his face, just for a moment, but it was something she had never seen before in him.

"He was here," She croaked out as he squatted next to her, trying to pull her up, "He ran away," She was shaking so much and could barely stand.

"Which way?" Tig asked and Ashley pointed. Tig looked at Jax and Jax nodded and he went running in the direction Ashley had told him.

"Chibs!" Jax called out to the few men who had started to come outside. "Bring her inside," Jax said to him, turning and leaving her quickly to run after Tig. She watched him, scared to be alone, yet never more ready for this to all come to an end.

"Come on Ashley," Chibs said to her, holding her lightly and gently, ushering her inside. He walked her through the clubhouse towards Jax's room. She was dazed, just going through the movements and unaware of the fact that everyone's eyes were on her. "Someone call Gemma," he called out.

When they got to Jax's room, Chibs brought her to sit on the bed. "I'll be right back, I'm going to go get some things." He said to her.

Ashley nodded and closed her eyes as the trembling got worse. Who was he? Why was he after her? Did this have to do with SAMCRO? Did it have to do with her mom? Her fingers ran against her neck, it was throbbing in the spot that he had bit. The tears started spilling out. What are you crying for? She asked herself. You are so lucky, it could have been so much worse. She tried to focus on that, but images of him pinning her kept flashing through her mind. The feeling of his gun jammed up inside of her. She wasn't safe. Not even with SAMCRO. She fought against her fear for control of her body.

Chibs came back into the room with a glass of water, as he handed it to her Gemma burst through the door.

"I came as fast as I could, what's going on?" She asked, coming over to look at Ashley, "Shit."

"I got some bandages if you need them," Chibs said handing them to Gemma.

Ashley just stared at them blankly. She must look as bad as she felt.

"Yeah, leave everything here...maybe bring something for pain?"

"Ok," Chibs said leaving, closing the door behind him.

"What happened sweetheart?" Gemma asked, wiping away the tears that had pooled up in the corners of her eyes.

"I…I'm not sure, he grabbed me in the parking lot."

"Here?" Gemma asked incredulously, "Someone grabbed you here?"

"Yes."

"He's a dead man Ashley, you can be sure of it." Gemma started to look her over, pushing her hair out of the way. She glanced down at her chest but her face remained expressionless. Ashley was still too scared to look and see what he had done to her. Gemma went into the bathroom and returned with a damp cloth. She started slowly wiping it over her cheeks. Ashley winced as the slightest pressure caused so much pain.

"He got you pretty good," Gemma said, "Did you recognize him?"

"No, but I tried to," Ashley answered. Her body was slowly beginning to stop trembling so much.

They were quiet as Gemma finished cleaning her face. She only needed a couple of bandages. She wiped her neck after cleaning the cloth and moved down to her chest.

"You know what I'm going to ask." Gemma said.

"He didn't," She answered, remembering the gun inside her.

"Let's finish cleaning you up before Jax gets back," Gemma said, wiping at her chest. Ashley could tell by her tone that she didn't want Jax seeing that. Would he never want her again? Ashley was confused. "Ash?" she asked her, looking down at her leg. Ashley looked down and saw the blood stains that came down her thigh from under her dress. She looked back up at Gemma and knew what she was thinking.

"He put his gun there."

Gemma just studied her face, obviously not believing her, "Ok," she said wiping that away too, "I get it."

"He didn't."

"It's ok, some things are better left unsaid. Don't worry sweetheart, they will take care of it. The fact that it happened here makes it club business. That piece of shit made a huge mistake."

"He had a gun though and he's crazy…"

"Don't worry, he doesn't stand a chance," Gemma finished wiping the dried blood from her, the injuries not looking quite as bad once she was cleaned up, "You're going to bruise pretty bad on your face and there are some nasty puncture wounds on your neck and chest, but I cleaned them and bandaged them, you will be back to new in no time."

"Thanks Gemma."

"Do you want me to call your mom?"

"No, I don't want to upset her. She had such a great night and I don't know how she'd handle this," Ashley started, the thought that he could be waiting for her mom popped into her head, "Do you think he would attack her too?"

"I think he's either dead or hiding, he's a stupid piece of shit but I don't think he would do that."

A knock came from the door and it opened revealing Chibs.

"Gemma, can I talk to you a sec."

"Sure," she replied, "I'll be right back."

Gemma left and Ashley laid back on the bed. She was so exhausted from everything and her body ached, she knew she would not be able to sleep. She wondered what Jax was doing and if he was safe. She would never be able to forgive herself if he got hurt because of her.

Why did this even have to happen? She started crying again, overwhelmed by everything. Why her? What did she ever do to anyone? Why did something bad happen every time something in her life started to go right? Why couldn't she ever just be happy?
