A/N: Whooo! Tenth chapter! :D To prevent confusion, the first three people that are talking are various reporters, a talk show host with guests, news anchors, and they are all talking about the Dalek puppets attacking the U.N. from the last chapter.

"-Breaking news from the United Nations. There appears to be some sort of hostage situation with the perpetrators calling themselves the 'Daleks'. We do not know the situation inside and we have no idea if there are casualties, but whoever or whatever they are have made what we believe to be a ransom demand only moments ago when theses Daleks broadcasted a message over various forms of communication, such as TV and radio in apparently many languages. They have been asking for someone called 'the Doctor'. The Doctor was seen entering the United Nations only yesterday. For those of you who don't know, the message the sent was this:"

"Hu-mans,we con-trol your lea-ders. They are no lon-ger hu-man. They are our pup-pets. We are the Da-leks. We will let them live, if, you give us the Doc-tor."

"This ominous message in a robotic voice was heard worldwide, and people everywhere are scrambling to deal with this hostage situation with minimal casualties while avoiding a catastrophic backlash, one which could become an international incident. This is truly a trying time for the people of Earth, and this will test our faith not only in the government, but in the Justice League as well. To the Doctor, do the right thing and save our leaders. Turn yourself in."

"It's 10:00 p.m. and this hostage situation in the United Nations has been going on for hours. Here with me to discuss it is John Hamilton, Carrie Brown, Jim McArthur, and Heather Goodwin. While the Justice League is trying their best to help the various countries whose people are trapped, it seems like this won't progress until this 'Doctor' shows up. Now it seems like he is the only one who can save us, but Jim, you told me earlier that strongly disagree with that. Would you like to say why?"

"Would I like to say why? Oh, I could talk about that until dawn. First, he just appears out of nowhere and appears at the U.N. to do what, exactly? How are we supposed to trust someone who just appeared out of thin air? What happened in there is being kept away from the public eye at a time when the people need to know what's going on!"

"If the government or the League had any doubt about his intentions, they wouldn't let him anywhere near there. It's one of the most secure buildings in the world. Obviously, we can trust him to some degree."

"Well John, have you considered the fact that the Doctor could be working with them? He appears at the U.N. not long before these Daleks take over, that can't be coincidence. The last thing we need is to deal with a double agent, and I don't see a reason to trust him."

"Sure we don't know a lot about him, but the Justice League clearly trusts him. And if you think about it, there are a lot of other League members we don't know a lot about. Batman would be the best example of that."

"She has a point, but even if we don't trust this Doctor, you have to consider the possibility that he knows something about the Daleks, and may be the only one that can help us."

"And that helps me prove my point, Carrie. If this Doctor just so happens to know about the Daleks and just so happens to show up right before this attack, don't you think he could actually be on the Daleks' side? He was in the United Nations before the attack, maybe he was scoping out the place."

". I'm afraid we'll have to go on a commercial break right now. Thank you for discussing the matter of the U.N.'s hostage situation, ladies and gentlemen. We will pick up where we left off when we return."

"I'm standing as close as I can get to the United Nations building, and as you can see, I'm not allowed anywhere near the building. There are various people running to and from the U.N. Emergency vehicles came by a little while ago, but I don't know what use they'll be if no one can enter or leave at this time. The people have been fleeing here since this whole ordeal began, and the only people left are those emergency responders and hospital staff, who've been put on standby. If you look behind me, you can see police cars with people who could be from the CIA, FBI, or some other government agency. I saw some Leaguers and military personnel with them as well. Back to you."

"Thanks Ted. While the U.N. is our top priority, there has been widespread panic not only in New York, where people are getting trampled as they run to grocery stores to get food and other necessities, but all over the world. Panic has been spreading to all corners of the globe as more people run to get food. Riots have broken out in the less stable countries and casualties have been growing. This panic is only increasing the burden of those who are trying to deal with the situation at hand. We are telling people not to panic, and to stay inside their homes and go out as little as possible. This will be over soon enough, just have faith in our heroes."

The TARDIS made her appearance after being away for about a day, and reappeared next to the meeting room, where the founders were. Lantern included, now that he was back. Upon hearing the sound they rushed outside, Flash being there first. The TARDIS started to fade back into reality and the Doctor stepped out.

"Hello, how've you been?" The Doctor asked casually, smiling, ignoring the Batglare that was burning into his skull.

"How have we been? Have you not seen the news?" Flash yelled.

"No, I've been bouncing around time and space, saw colonial America! Though I have this nagging feeling I caused the Salem Witch Trials." The Doctor said as he ran a hand through his hair, frowning a little.

"Things have not been good, Doctor." Manhunter said.

"That's one way of putting it." Hawkgirl said.

"Okay, so I've missed something." The Doctor said. "And it's really really bad."

"Where were you?" Batman asked.

"Well you're getting right to the point, aren't you?" The Doctor smiled. "But I think something more important is going on right now. What happened?" Batman glared at him. He didn't like how easily the Doctor avoided his questions, but he'll be darned if the world's greatest detective isn't able to get answers from him, but it may take longer than he would like. The Doctor turned to Superman.

"Remember the incident at the police station? Well, it's worse than that, they've taken control of U.N. leaders. The Daleks have made any communication impossible, and we're completely in the dark. We don't know how many Dalek puppets are in there and we have no idea how many casualties there are." Superman said.

"How long have I been gone?" The Doctor asked.

"About a day." Superman said.

"I can't even leave for a day and things get out of control!" The Doctor ran his hands through his hair. "Stupid! It explains that feeling I got when I went to the U.N." The Doctor said in annoyance, he knew he should've looked into that.

"What are you talking about, Doctor?" Wonder Woman asked.

"When I first came to the United Nations, I felt like I was being scanned, and I was right. But it wasn't some sort of security protocol, it was the puppets." The Doctor said, getting a little worried. "Okay, good news or bad news?" He asked the League.

"Bad news." They said in unison.

"Bad news!" The Doctor said a little loudly. "The Daleks are careful with their designs of the puppets, so I should not have felt them scanning me unless they were in large numbers. And by large numbers, I mean if you go in there it would be safest if you assumed everyone in there was a Dalek puppet." The Doctor said.

"And the good news would be?" Flash asked.

"You get to see the inside of my TARDIS!" The Doctor smiled. He opened the TARDIS door, but not enough that they could see in, supervision not included. "It'd be best if we went there together, less of a hassle." The Doctor went in and closed the door. No one moved for a minute. The door opened again. "Come on! Do you want to stop them or not?" The Doctor ducked inside again. They followed.

"Whoa." Flash said. Everyone else's' eyes were wide, excluding Batman. If the Doctor smiled more, his face would break.

"It's…bigger on the inside." Flash started.

"I'll say." Lantern said. "How big is it?"

"Well, about the size of a planet, give or take a few miles. But it's bigger than the Earth, at least." The Doctor said as he watched the Leaguers.

"Hera, how is that possible?" Wonder Woman asked.

"Time Lord technology." The Doctor said. Superman used his supervision, and was surprised to see how it went on for what seemed like forever.

"He's right, it just room after room." Superman said.

"I believe the TARDIS likes me." Manhunter said. He could feel her in his mind. The Doctor smiled, and chuckled a little when he felt the TARDIS's distaste for Batman.

"Yes, she does. It helps that you're a psychic. It's something she can relate to." The Doctor walked over to the controls. "Now, I believe we had somewhere to be. Oh, I should warn you I'm not the best pilot." That got him a few raised eyebrows, but he ignored it. "Allons-y!" The wheezing and groaning started as she dematerialized. He worked his way around the controls and everything was fine, but when he got out the hammer/mallet, Flash looked a little unnerved when he started hitting random things. Superman turned to Batman.

"Come on, aren't you a little impressed?" Superman asked.

"Not really. Remember when he first showed up holding a fire extinguisher? When he through it back inside, the amount of noise it caused led me to believe that the inside was much bigger. Which it is." Batman said as he looked at the Doctor, scrambling around.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Green Lantern asked, still a little wide-eyed after seeing the TARDIS.

"Well, not really, I was never any good at this. But in my defense, there should be six Time Lords piloting her, not one." The Doctor said as they materialized. "Now we should be right in the middle of the United Nations building! Who wants to go out first?"

A/N: What will happen when the Doctor arrives with the Justice League? Well, you'll have to wait another week to find out, and happy Mothers Day!
