Goodbye
After Fire and Ice: The End
It had to come some time. This one is pretty short, but that's the point. Anymore and I probably would have started crying.
Christmas break for me is coming soon, so I'll be able to update a lot sooner since I won't have to worry about anything. Read and Review. The next one shot won't be sad.
It took a lot to make Brandon Xavier Malfoy cry. He didn't cry when he broke his arm when he was five years old. He didn't cry when Scooter died. And he certainly didn't cry when his grandfather died. However, now this time was different. As he knelt on the cold, hard ground next to his sister, he couldn't help but let out multiple sobs. Ava cried beside him, and he couldn't blame her. This was all so sudden. Ryan had his arms around her shoulders in attempt to sooth her.
The weather fit the sibling's moods. Dark storm clouds blanketed the sky above, rain pouring over the many people surrounding the caskets. With shaky legs, Brandon got to his feet, dropping the two roses onto the black coffins before accepting his wife's embrace as they started towards the exit of the cemetery.
It caught everyone by surprise, half of it anyway. Fifty-five was way too young for his father to pass away. His father's passing was only a matter of time the more he thought about it. After receiving what would be a fatal injury during a raid with the Aurors; Brandon just expected his father to last longer than what he did. But what confused his family the most was that his mother passed as well.
Haylee Malfoy was perfectly healthy. There was nothing that they could think of that would have caused her heart to stop beating. The only thing that made sense, even though it sounded corny, was that she passed with a broken heart. That they couldn't live without one another.
"Sweetheart, it's time to go. We've been here for hours," Julia whispered, kissing the top of his head.
"I know," he croaked. "I still can't believe it. My father told me that he would live to be 100."
"I know," she replied.
"I love you, Mum and Dad," Brandon held his head up to the sky.
They would still be together at least.
xXMizz Alec VolturiXx - It seems like you are the only one reading these anymore. Not that I'm complaining. I'm glad you like these little snippets so much. I hope this one faired you well.
