Thank you to everyone who read and reviewed my story. Every view meant the world to me.

The infirmary was a desolate, dark place. Beds lined the walls, all empty except one. Leo lay mildly unconscious in a bed, groaning every few minutes. He had been there for a day, and looked like he'd be there even longer. Regardless, his eyes finally lifted themselves open, adjusting to the scarce amount of light in the room. Fighting against the pain in his body, Leo dragged himself out of bed. His legs wobbled, threatening to collapse on his body. Nonetheless, he shuffled forward, exiting the building. The air was cool, dancing around the streets of New Rome, throwing leaves here and there. Leo groaned as he limped through said streets, heading towards an unknown destination. The streets themselves were empty, desolate of life. Lights twinkled from a select few of windows. Leo assumed it was very late at night.

"F***ing paintball," Leo muttered to himself. He looked over to a large sign reading, "Extreme Paintball". Leo shook his head before continuing his journey.

"Hey, you!" a voice shouted. Once again, Leo groaned before turning to face the voice. "Greeks aren't allowed out this late." It was Reyna. Leo couldn't help but smile at this fortunate occurrence. He refrained from holding his sides, and attempted to stand up straight.

"Sorry, I guess I didn't catch the memo," Leo chuckled. Reyna narrowed her eyebrows before drawing her sword. Leo held his hands up in defense.

"This isn't a game, Greek," Reyna stated.

"Leo," Leo interjected. "My name is Leo." Reyna issued a confused expression.

"I know," she said.

"I don't think you do, because you keep calling me 'Greek,'" Leo retorted. This statement agitated Reyna further.

"What did you just say to me?" Reyna demanded, walking forward.

"Did I stutter?" Leo again retorted, mimicking her actions. Reyna was now at a distance that she was able to press the tip of her sword into Leo's chest.

"Don't test me, Greek," she pressed the sword further into his chest. Leo felt a wave of courage, completely oblivious to the sword pressing into his chest. The medication he was given in the infirmary had not only taken a toll on his body, but also on his mind. Leo felt drunk, but still in control of his actions. The same thing couldn't be said for his speech, as unexpected sentences poured from his mouth.

"What're you gonna do, stab me?" Leo taunted. Reyna twisted the sword further, finally drawing blood. Leo didn't notice this. They glared at each other for a few more seconds before Reyna retracted her sword.

"Just don't let me catch you out here again," she said before turning to walk away.

"Hey one more thing," Leo called. At this point, the Roman ambrosia had almost entirely taken over his body, truly inducing him in a drunken state. When Reyna turned, Leo leaned forward, kissing her. Even if the kiss only lasted a few seconds, Leo enjoyed every second. Although it was the drunkenness that caused Leo to kiss her, it was his own will to continue. It was also his own will to take the punch that followed the kiss. Leo fell back onto the pavement, before Reyna kicked him square across the face.

"You ever try and pull that shit on me again, I will f*** you up!" she screamed before turning and walking away.

"You didn't mind last time," Leo joked before blacking out.

…...

Leo awoke to bright lights and loud noises. People bustled past him, as if it was normal that someone was unconscious in the middle of the street. Leo later learned that that wasn't the case, and that word had spread about last night. People eyed Leo as he walked past them, blood dripping from his nose.

Leo was pretty sure he was supposed to attend a meeting or something today. But his aching body and embarrassed appearance suggested he shouldn't. Leo plopped himself down onto a bench overlooking a small pond. It was peaceful, contradicting the loud, busy streets behind him. Somehow, this area was quiet, probably by some godly magic. Leo reveled in its peacefulness for as long as he could.

"You son of a bitch," he heard a familiar voice behind him. A soft hand grabbed the back of his head, forcing him forward into the pond below. "Do you have any idea how badly last night affected my reputation?" Reyna questioned. Leo didn't respond, instead laid motionless in the shallow pond. Reyna continued yelling, but Leo remained oblivious to it all.

His thoughts reverted back to the past. Specifically that night, in the garden, before Luke killed her. It had been so perfect; she had been so perfect.

But now Leo was forced to restart, square one. It infuriated him, it felt like one of his greatest inventions had just been destroyed, and he was forced to rebuild it from scratch. All his hard work, memories, progress, happiness- Gone! Torn away from him in an instant. All this rage rested inside him, and he had to keep it that way. He was supposed to be the calm one, the one that kept everyone sane in this insane world. He resented that responsibility; he wanted to get angry just like everyone else.

"Are you even listening to me?" Leo awoke from his endless thinking. Reyna was shaking him, pulling him from the pond. She threw him on the small hill of grass, letting him lie there. Again she shouted, and again Leo chose to ignore her. Instead, he admired her; she always looked beautiful when she was angry. Her face scrunched up in the cutest manner, and the way she positioned her hands on her hips, which swayed in a mesmerizing manner…

"Hey!" Reyna smacked Leo. "Listen up, ass hole-"

"Your eyes are beautiful," Leo interrupted. Reyna looked taken aback, and Leo swore he saw Reyna's cheeks turn a light scarlet.

"W-what?" Reyna stuttered; a first.

"Your eyes," Leo repeated. "I never really realized how pretty they were until now." Leo spoke in a soft, slow manner. Reyna didn't respond, she simply stood, confused, mouth gaping, at a loss for words. No one had ever complimented her in such a manner. Sure people complimented her fighting and leadership skills from time to time, but never her eyes.

"You should come lie down, the view is wonderful," Leo told her. He placed his arms behind his head, sighing as he stared at the sky. To even Reyna's surprise, she did go and lie next to Leo. She left a considerable amount of space between them (several inches) and couldn't help but look over at him every few seconds.

Reyna felt young again. This moment reminded her of her time on Circe's island, on the beautiful beaches and elegant meadows. It reminded her of a time she was at peace with herself, a time of freedom. This boy, whoever he may be, brought out something new in her. Something she hadn't felt in so long; happiness.

Unknowingly to Reyna, she had fallen asleep next to that pond. Leo had governed the brilliant idea of carrying her back to her barracks. Of course he realized it was broad daylight, and people were flooding the streets. And the sight of a Greek carrying their praetor (bridal style) through the streets of New Rome, was a very odd sight. Reyna didn't notice, as she rested her head on his shoulder, wrapping her arms around his neck.

She was light, in Leo's arms. He had no trouble carrying her, and he really didn't mind. Leo couldn't help smile to himself, especially when Jason and Piper stopped him in the streets to take a picture of the 'newly weds'. Leo was getting a copy of that picture for sure, and so was Reyna.

Writer: Thank you for waiting so long, those of you that stood by this story. I hope this new chapter offers a reward to those that waited.

Also, I can't wait to get my hands on the House of Hades (which I will, once I finish Lord of the Flies) so that I can begin my Leo/Calypso fanfiction.

Anyway, thanks for reading, R&R, and good night! Seriously, it's 11:30 P.M. as I write this, I'm tired as Hades, and I have school tomorrow! Later!
