I liked this story because of how at first it focused on Lizzy and gradually it became Gilbert as the center of attention until it was Ludwig who ultimately learns something from… GILBERT!? I just liked that a lot… and I loved when Ludwig breaks his chip so he can remember his brother. Ignore the plot holes yo and just roll with it guys. Here's the final installment.

Gilbert lied in the grass looking at the sky. Lizzy appeared by him smiling.

"What cha doing?"

"Nothing, it's just I feel like this is the first time I've seen the sky in so long? I know it's crazy but, I don't know?"

Lizzy's smile faltered for only and instant but came back even brighter as she lie down next to him. It was quiet, but in a comfortable way.

"What do you think about when you watch the sky?"

Gilbert gazed into the deep blue, "Lizzy, do you ever feel like you're forgetting something?"

"What do you mean," she lied.

"Well, I've been having this dream lately. And in this dream I'm running around Washington D.C. with a man I've never seen before. He's strict but we get along well, like best friends or something. But here's the thing, I know I've never met this guy?"

"Well, they say it's impossible to makeup a person in your mind, so maybe you've seen him somewhere?"

He turned to look at her, "But where?"

Then he sat up scratching his head, "Well, it's probably not important, just me sneaking in weird snacks late at night. So is there anything you want to do today?"

She wiggled her eyebrows at him and he returned the suggestive stare, "You thinking what I'm thinking?"

She smirked at him, "You bet."

They went into the house and feverishly started playing Mario Kart. Fuck Rainbow Road, just fuck it. Gilbert screamed as Lizzy effortlessly out drove him. He rolled around on the floor as Luigi posed for his victory lap. They switched on to watching some movie about gangsters in space. The movie was funny even though it wasn't supposed to be.

"I read that it's impossible to actually lose a memory, it actually just goes into some weird part of the brain where you can't access it or something?" Gilbert said not really paying attention to himself or the movie.

Lizzy's eyes watered but she pushed it back and said, "I used to know an expert on the subject and you know what he told me? He said all memories are connected," she kisses him on the cheek, "You'll see him again, the man in your dreams. I know you will."

"Don't say it like that or I sound gay. Then again, you'd like that wouldn't you," he smiled, "Why do I feel like there's something you're not telling me?"

"I'm your girlfriend, there will always be something I'm not telling you."

"Oh yeah that reminds me, I have to go out to the library, there's a book I wanted to check out."

"Alright, should I pause the movie?"

"Nah, you finish watching it, I'll be back in a bit."

Gilbert left the house and walked to the Library where there was a book about an alternate reality and time travel. These things interested him, they always had. He checked the book out and walked into town to get what he really had gone out for. He looked up to the blue sky and smiled. Looking at the clouds always made him feel so peaceful. He walked to the jeweler, which only made him feel extremely nervous. He looked to the sky again and took a breath as he opened the shop door.

"Hey there Gil," greeted the jeweler.

"Hey there Francis, do you have the goods?"

The blonde Frenchman smiled, "ahhhhh you're getting married!"

"Shut up Francis! Just give me the ring I ordered so I can propose."

"It's been almost four years Gilbert, why the hell did you wait so long?"

"I don't know okay, I just wanted to enjoy her as Lizzy for a while before… enjoying her as," he blushed, "Mrs. Beilschmidt."

The bearded man jumped over the counter and knocked his friend onto the floor in a giant hug, "YOU ARE THE CUTEST! Take your ring and call me as soon as she says yes!"

"Okay Francis," Gilbert said shoving his extremely friendly friend off of him.

"See ya," he said as he left the store.

He decided he would go to Antonio's next to buy some flowers for Lizzy. He smiled getting really excited as he held the ring box in his hand.

And then, by the window of the flower shop Gilbert saw him. There was a tall Aryan man looking at the corn poppies. Gilbert was frozen, watching this built man eye the many flowers. Gilbert could feel himself smiling, but he didn't know why. He even felt like crying, but he wasn't sad. Somehow seeing this man made him feel elated. He walked up to the stranger and tapped his shoulder. The man turned around to face Gilbert. Gilbert saw this man's face clearly and suddenly he knew everything was going to be okay.

"Hey Ludwig, long time no see."

XD OH MY GOD I'M CRYING! NO ONE UNDERSTANDS HOW I FEEL ABOUT THESE TWO BROTHERS! UGH! THERE WAS NO WAY I COULD LEAVE THEM APART! THAT WOULD BE TOTAL BULL SHIT! Please review and thank you to everyone who supported me in this fic!
