*Here is the next one. Been struggling with writer's block and a busy life. Sorry for the delay. Hope people are still interested. This one is not completely thrilling, but it does help to push the plot along. Enjoy and review. I really enjoy reading all of the reviews :)
SamSterMiNm: that's very sweet. Thank you :)
kindleflame5: All I'm going to say is you're right, and that nothing is set in stone with regards to this story...

To say that Wyatt was frustrated was the biggest understatement of the century. He of course was frustrated at the fact that he couldn't get the Phoenix to talk. She had been in his captivity all of 12 hours, and yet she refused to talk. He had all of these powers at his disposal, but was powerless against her. He eventually gave up and left the Underworld, his domain - where his prisoner was being held. He decided to clear his head in hopes of either finding a solution to get the girl to talk or to try and sense for Chris yet again. That was the only downfall of living in the Underworld, it meddled with his ability to sense.
He had decided to try and find clarity at the one spot that Chris took refuge at. At The top of the Golden Gate Bridge. They were first introduced to the bridge by their father when he did still come around. The bridge was a place that he once took refuge away from every one himself when he was a child, before everything that had happened. In fact, the three Halliwell children would often orb up there together whenever they wanted to get away from their mother, or their responsibilities.
Wyatt for some reason thought that orbing up there, would provide a simple solution to his problems like the good old days. Instead he reminded of all that had been lost. He realized how much everything had changed. He no longer had his brother at his side. He had lost his best friend. He was more determined to get him back so that he could reclaim what was lost. Now he just had to figure out how.
Before long, he could sense another presence on the bridge. It wasn't a threat, he knew, which was good considering his semi-vulnerable position. He had stupidly sat on the edge of the bridge, with his feet dangling off of the side. And if one of his enemies knew this, they would've come and tried to push him off the bridge. Not that he would die from the push, but it would annoy him and make him angrier than he already was.
The other on the bridge was his own sister. He didn't say anything as she made her way over to him and sat next to him. They sat in silence for a while and Wyatt was sure that she too was starting to remember all that had happened on the bridge.
"It seems like a different lifetime doesn't it?" She finally asked breaking the silence. He didn't need to ask for clarification on her part; he knew exactly what she was talking about. She was talking about their last time on the bridge. It was the last time that the three siblings had been together and fighting on the same side. It was before his mother's death.
"Yeah, I guess," was all Wyatt could muster up.
"Wyatt...," she started. He knew that she was looking at him and was about to bring up something that he no longer wanted to remember. She was going to bring up that day. She had been so young and luckily didn't remember it. Wyatt was not as lucky. He refused to look up at his sister, the carbon copy of his dead mother when he cut her off.
"Not now Mel."
"That's what you always say. Why won't you talk about it? It might make you feel..."
"I don't have feelings Mel. Feelings make you weak."
"When will you stop lying to yourself. Deep down your still human. And unfortunately humans still have feelings."
"I only have power. Nothing else. Now leave me."
She scoffed before orbing away. She was right. He still did have feelings, but what did that matter. Feelings did make him weaker. And any weakness that he had would just be exploited by his enemies. He would never admit that she was right though. It would give her power over him. Besides, he wouldn't even admit it to himself.
He sighed. Sometimes, his sister confused him. One moment she was ready to tear off the head off of Bianca, her biggest adversary. and the next, she was trying to get him to admit the fact that he was human. It was almost like she tried to be evil and shut out the world, but couldn't. It hadn't been her fault really. Wyatt knew that deep down he was different than his siblings. He had always known that. This difference was the thing that made him begin his search for power in the first place. He just wanted to fit in somewhere. Then his mother died and everything changed. He was more free with her death. Then before long, he tried to get his siblings to join him. Chris refused and started the resistance against him. But Mel, Mel tried to keep her siblings together. Eventually, they made her choose a side and she choose Wyatt. She choose power. However, Wyatt knew that sometimes she regretted her choice. She wasn't inherently evil but stayed because Wyatt's enemies were now her enemies and they would either come after her once she was no longer under the protection of Wyatt's army, or they would try to get her to conspire against Wyatt, and Wyatt knew that she could never do that. She couldn't turn on family the same way that Wyatt could. Or at least she could only pretend.
After Paige's murder, Wyatt remembered that she cried for a month straight in her bedroom once she thought that everyone had gone to bed. Wyatt would always hear her and fought every urge to coddle her close and tell her that everything was going to be okay. He wouldn't lie to her like that and he didn't think that Mel would've wanted that anyways.
Then Chris left. The departure was rough on him, he could only imagine what she was going through. That's why he was so determined to find Chris. To make Mel happy again. To make things normal again. To reunite their family again. Because without Chris - even when he was on the opposite side of the war - they weren't complete.
The only one stopping him from getting Chris back was going to get dealt with one way or the other, that much was certain. His family would be whole once again. He would force Chris to be on their side, even if it was the last thing that he did. No one was ever going to get in his way again.
He sighed before burying all of his feelings and humanness deep down where no one would find them, once again put on the Source of all Evil facade that he so confidently wore everyday, and orbed out with a new plan to get the witch to talk.

Chris was sitting on the couch up in the Manor. He had just spent most of the morning demon hunting. It cleared his head and helped him to remember his mission. He was not going to fail. Because if he failed, he would be letting his aunt Paige down and she would die in vain. He was lost in thought and hadn't heard the family come in to the attic. The four of them surrounded him on the couch and he looked up. He sighed.
"What's wrong?" He asked, already mentally preparing himself for the lecture he would receive.
"We need to talk." Piper replied. He remained silent.
"You haven't given us enough information to warrant our help." Prue began.
"How can we trust you if you aren't saying anything?" Leo continued.
"Just talk to us Chris." That one was his mother. It appeared that they were playing some sort of version of bad cop, good cop. He sighed again but refused to say anything.
"He's not talking. Phoebe read the spell." Leo suggested. He didn't need to be a mind reader to figure out which spell they were going to recite. How his family would ever think that truth spell would be the answer, he would never know. Sure, it would be a good idea to use this spell on anyone who wasn't trained at getting around this spell. In the many sessions to prepare for this mission, Paige had frequently cast this spell on Chris and helped him get around it. By the last training session, he was a master.
"Go ahead. I have nothing to hide. I'm telling you the truth. My brother and sister are really the rulers of the planet and are evil. And I really did come back to get the Charmed Ones' help. I'm truly sorry that I let it slip that you guys die young. I'll be more careful next time. I have to be."
"Why?" Phoebe asked.
"Because we're connected and by changing too much of the past, I risk changing my own future."
"But-"
"No buts, Piper. Now I'll tell you what you need to know so that we can find the demon that did this, but no more information will be spilled."
"Fine. I have one question though. What's in it for us? If we help you that is?" Prue asked.
He sighed before answering, careful to not reveal anything else. "By helping me, you save the future. And before you think 'that's the future's problem, especially because we're dead' my brother may or may not caused your deaths. So by helping me, you may prolong your lives."
The sisters looked at each other with uncertainty. They had no way of knowing whether or not he was telling the truth but since they didn't want to die young they all silently agreed to help.
"We're in."
