Few hours later...

We've decided to split into groups to look for the 'experiment', though to be honest I was seriously doubting that possibility. Jon, Luis and I went in separate directions since we knew the area pretty well and Lilo sticks to Stitch. We weren't supposed to fight it, just find it quietly and call the others or text them of the location.

I was hugging myself as I felt the wind blow pass me, "Brr! It's cold... Looks like winter's coming early."

Then I stop in my tracks as I look up the night sky, "I'm starting to really regret doing this."

My body tenses as my breathing hitches, I slowly turn around and look around.

"Okay...I could've sworn I heard breathing just a second ago," I stated as I started to freak out.

"Guys! Is that you?!" I shout, hoping someone was there and it wasn't my imagination playing tricks on me. "Guys?"

My voice dies down, "Guys."

I gulp as I walk back, "Now...I just got to get out of this part of the park because it's obvious the experiment isn't here besides, there aren't many places to hide."

I look around and see the part of the park I was in, which had a playground with a slide and things for small children, a gazebo far away from the playground and covered by many trees and a bridge.

"Yep...no places to hide," I speak as I walk.

I stop as I hear breathing again, I turn around and before I knew it I was pushed to the ground by a flash of something. I hear it in the trees, rustling the branches and I scream as I jump up and run. I run into Jon and we fall onto the ground.

Once I shake the stun off and sees it's him. I happily scream, "Jon!"

I go beside him and pull his arm, "We need to leave, now!"

"Marcus, what — what is it?!" he asks me as I slightly pull him up and try to drag him.

"That...It…" I was a lost for words.

"Who? What? What happened?" he asks as I look around.

"The experiment basically pushed me easily. I think it was trying to kill me!" I yell as I pull his arm, "Now we need to go. Come on!"

"Huh," I stop talking as I heard something.

"Jon...please tell me that was you a second ago?" I ask him.

"I thought that was you?" he asks me.

Hhissss... There's a low growling hiss. "Did you hear that?" I ask, visibly worried as me and Jon go back to back.

"You're – you're probably hearing thing," he replies sounding unsure himself.

Ggggrowl...

"What was that?" he asks me.

"I sure hope it wasn't the experiment," I reply as we started to slowly look around the area.

"It might be a good plan to keep moving so we don't have to find out, don't you think?" Jon questions me as we stood still and look around.

"Well I'm all for that idea," I state as we talk again, frozen in place.

"Or we could just stay here frozen like idiots till the experiment gets us," he retorts annoyed.

"Hey...I've an idea," I whisper to him and he looks to me, "What is it?"

"Let's sneak away quietly...maybe it won't be able to hear us since it change because of the chemicals falling on it," I explain and he nods.

"Can you explain why we're tiptoeing instead of running for our freakin' lives," he whispers harshly as we walk away from where the sound was coming from.

"Like I said it probably doesn't have the same sense of hearing, maybe the chemicals impaired it. Now you get it," I reply.

"I guess so," he mutters as we continue to creep away.

We heard a branch break and it landed right in front of me, I froze on the spot as the tree's branch was literally a few inches away from me.

"Or…I could be wrong," I state as we heard laughing.

"Run?" Jon asks me and I retort, "Hell yeah!"

We started running fast as I was panting, "This…is…not…good. …I…don't…like…this…at…all. …Not…one…bit."

"Just…keep…running!" Jon pants as well.

Meanwhile…

Norm. P.O.V.

Luis just met up with Lilo and Stitch.

"You guys found anything?" he asks them and they shake their heads no.

"Same for me," he states, "Wonder how Marcus and Jon did?"

Then they hear, "Hey, you guys listen up!"

Luis, Lilo and Stitch turn and see Marcus and Jon running.

"Speak of the devils," Luis comments as Lilo states, "I don't like the tone of his voice."

"We have got to get out of here now!" Marcus exclaims as they were closing in on Lilo, Luis, and Stitch.

"What do you mean?" Luis asks bewildered.

Marcus and Jon met with Luis, Lilo and Stitch as they stop to catch their breaths.

"The-the experiment...is...ha...ha...right behind us," Marcus explains as he's hunches over.

"Yeah...it was chasing us," Jon concurs.

"Well...where is it?" Luis asks as he walks behind Marcus and Jon.

"Right..." Marcus points, "Um...somewhere there. I think."

Lilo, Luis and Stitch give them both a skeptical look.

"I'm telling you, it was there. It was behind us," Jon exclaims.

"Are you two sure it was the experiment?" Lilo asks them.

"Yeah, I'm sure. We're definitely sure. How many times do I have to tell you that?" Marcus replies harshly.

"Well, it's a valid question considering we didn't see anybody behind you," Lilo remarks.

"Stitch do you smell anything?" she asks Stitch.

He sniffs the air and replies, "Naga. Meega naga smell anything like experiment."

"That doesn't mean it wasn't there," Jon states as him and Marcus finally stood straight.

"We heard this growling and hissing," he adds as Marcus looks behind with Luis.

Lilo and Stitch go ahead of Luis and Marcus as they run through the darkness of the park while Jon, Luis and Marcus stood in place.

"Well...I think they can handle the rest," Marcus starts, "so...yeah, now we better get going before we get in trouble."

Snap!

"What was that?" Luis asks loudly.

"Probably nothing," Marcus nervously gulps, "You're probably just hearing things."

Ggggroowlll!

Everyone gasps upon hearing the growls. The trio huddles together, back to back as they look around.

"Still think I was just hearing things?" Luis asks with a smirk.

"Shut up," Marcus retorts meanly.

"Lilo? Stitch?" Jon calls out.

"Maybe it's the experiment," Luis suggests.

"I'm sure Lilo and Stitch caught it. That's probably a stray cat," Marcus reasons.

Grrowl!

"Okay, I was wrong. No cat or dog can make that sound," Marcus quickly speaks.

That's when the group hears the growling, it was closer than before as it catches their attention.

"Lilo!" Marcus yells as the group starts to back away.

"Stitch!" Luis hollers as well.

They hear footsteps and start running away from the sound, they find Lilo and Stitch looking lost.

"Guys! Guys!" Jon yells as reach them, "Guys, it's right behind us!"

"Get it! Get it!" Marcus screams as they go behind them.

Stitch looks at the direction and turns his night-vision on, "Um...guys, there isa naga thing there."

"What? It...it was right there. I swear it was, we swear. It was chasing us," Luis replies.

"The experiment?" Lilo asks them and they nod.

Lilo looks down and checks her space-cell, "No."

All turn to her and she speaks, "It's 1:50 am."

"Meaning?" Luis asks confused as Marcus and Jon furrow their eyebrows in confusion.

"The experiment hides around this time," she sighs as Stitch walks back to her.

"So...we wasted hours for nothing then," Marcus replies, "and we know nothing new about it."

"Well...we better get going then since the experiment is in hiding," Luis states.

"We can still get the experiment, just needs time. We'll see you again sometime," Lilo states as they run off.

"Bye guys," Marcus said to them.

Jon, Luis and Marcus quickly left the park and decided to go home, they were going to talk about this tomorrow.

Marcus's P.O.V.

When I get home, I hurriedly open the door and close it behind me as I lock it. I sigh in relief, knowing that I'm safe at home.

I look to my side and I see my mom on the dining room computer, my dad on his laptop and I'm guessing my sisters are watching something on TV because I can hear sounds coming from the living room.

I went straight to the bathroom as I had my hands in my pockets, but when I went to the bathroom; I locked the door and pulled out my hands. I went to wash my hands and when the water made contact with my hand, it stung; I saw I was bleeding from my hand, "What?"

I look closely and I think I see bite marks on my hand; though I wasn't too sure, I quickly looked for the neosporin and put some gauze on it. I left the bathroom and quickly put both hands in my pocket.

I speak to my parents, "I'm going to bed, night."

"Night," everyone said together as I walk upstairs.

I go to my room and go to my costume, searching for the blood sample. I started to panic as I couldn't find it. I rummage through my costume and the blood sample wasn't there. I then look through my entire room and I couldn't find it still. I run downstairs and go to the living room with my sisters are in.

"Okay...which one of you crooks went into my room?" I ask as I try not to yell.

"What are you talking about?" Melody asks.

"I know one of you went into my room...So which one of you was it?" I ask angrily.

"None of us were in your room," Betty answers.

"Really?" I say confused.

"Yeah," they said together.

"Oh...then sorry," I apologize to them and go back upstairs and try to sleep, but one thought was in my mind. 'If it wasn't my sisters then, what happened to that blood sample?'

Next Morning...

I wake up from the sound of what I thought was my cellphone. I pick it up and try to answer it, "Hello?"

I groggily say, "Hello?"

I look at my cell and see it wasn't the thing causing the sound, I sit up and find the source of the sound from my book-bag. I throw my legs over the bed and walk towards it, I open it and see it was my holophone.

I open it and a hologram of Jumba appears, "What now Jumba?"

"Ah...Earth Boy Marcus," he says happily, "nice seeing you this morning."

"Is that the only reason why you called me?" I ask him tiredly.

"No...Jumba wanting to asking you something urgent," he states as I rub my eyes.

He brings out an empty syringe, "Did you taking liquid from this and take one of Stitch's blood samples?"

"What?" I ask as I had a hard time listening to him since I woke up. He took his time, gathered his breath and repeated what he said before.

"Did you taking things from me?" he asks again.

"Lilo...She injected that...into me," I yawn.

"What!" he exclaims loudly as I drop the thing from his blaring voice. That was enough to wake me up as I look around the floor for it.

"Earth Boy Marcus? You there?" I finally find it and reply, "Yeah, I'm here and fully awake now."

"What's the matter Jumba?" I ask him as I see the distraught face.

"It's about the serum," he quietly replies.

"What? What is in that serum? What was in it? Tell me," I demand fearfully.

"It's a super human serum, increasing all capabilities but it's in experimental stages. It hasn't been tested," he states seriously.

"Oh thanks, I thought it was something worse," I said as I actually thought about it, "What! What do you mean it hasn't been tested?!"

"Jumba couldn't finding good subject for it. Jumba done many simulations on computer to work with experiments and it wouldn't even working with them," he explains.

"Marcus? Marcus are you okay. We heard screaming," I hear one of my sisters speak.

"Um...yeah I'm fine," I tell her.

"Okay...listen Jumba, I'll call you soon to ask more questions. OK, bye," I whisper to him as I closed the holophone.

I leave my room and get dress as I wait for my sisters to fully wake up, I play with my bowl of Special K blueberry cereal. I couldn't help but think back to what Jumba said about the whole thing.

"So...I took a drug and it could've done things to my body without me even knowing it," I mutter softly.

My eyes widen at that thought, "Like...destroying it because it's not been tested. I could be dying right now."

I pull out my holophone and call Jumba worriedly, "Jumba? Jumba can you hear...um...see me?"

"Hello?" I ask lowly, not wanting to wake my family.

"Ah...Earth Boy Marcus, didn't expecting call so soon. What is being problem?" he asks.

"Well...since it hasn't been tested – can it kill me?" I ask him honestly.

He laughs at my question. 'That's just great. He's laughing at a thing like this? My life can be over soon and he finds it funny.'

"Not worrying, serum isn't lethal Earth Boy Marcus. You being okay," he states with a smile.

"Is that why you were laughing before?" I ask sounding a little cross, "You knew it isn't fatal."

"Yes," he replies with a slight chuckle, "Now...if anything seeming different. Contacting Jumba immediately."

I glare at him as I add, "I'll tell you the moment I sprout wings and fly."

I closed the holophone and interrupt Jumba before he could add anything else. I put it in my book-bag and go back to eating my cereal.

"Hmm...He's so funny. Ha. A super human serum, what a joke. Can't believe that," I scoff even though I kept thinking about it.

An hour later...

My sisters and I arrived to the school, we went our separate ways. I went to my locker and take the books I needed and then walk to the cafeteria. I sat in a table and wait for Jon and Luis to arrive. I saw a few friends and chatted with them, but my mind kept going back to the experiment. It kept questioning where the experiment went off to last night.

"Marcus!" I hear and I go to the voice. I see Jon and Luis waving at me.

I motion them to sit with me and they did.

"Sup guys," I say to them.

They notice my hand and Luis asks, "The fuck?"

"Oh...yeah," I totally forgot about my hand.

Jon lightly tug my hand as he sees it, "Dude, what happened?"

"I think I scratched it when we were in the park. You know how that place has random pieces of glass everywhere," I answer unsure and hiss from a slight burning pain from my hand.

"A piece of glass?" Luis repeats my statement just as confused.

"I hope that piece of glass didn't have any germs on it," Jon comments as he releases my hand.

"Thank you. I hope so too," I reply.

"You should have your parents take you to a hospital to get that check," Luis states.

"I can't do that," I reply as Luis grabs my hand, "Well, doesn't it hurt?"

"Sss. Yeah, I'm fine. Really," I reply as I pull my hand away from him.

"You should really get that washed," Luis states as he sees the gauze cover in red coloring.

"I can't," I state as I look down, "Is this going to be about my hand or did you guys wanted to ask me something?"

"Well, Marcus did you find anything from Lilo and the gang yet?" Luis asks me.

"Oh...I found something interesting," I said it sarcastically.

"What?" Jon asks me.
