Seeing both of the two still looking at him, Sans shrugged and gave another suggestion. "Why don't you see how well Frisk does against the rest of your puzzles, ok Pap? If that argument is cleared up, I would rather not find my brother dusted, alright Frisk. If you really want to, you can fight again if Frisk manages all of the puzzles, but please don't kill each other the second that my back is turned, alright?"

"Ok, boss" Frisk signed in Wingdings only somewhat sarcastically. At the same time, Papyrus had a question.

"Who's Frisk"

When Frisk turned to Papyrus, insulted at the question, Sans had to play moderator again. "The human standing next to you, bro. It really isn't nice to not bother asking someone's name, you know. You should probably apologize"

"Oh. Sorry human- I mean, sorry Frisk" Papyrus agreed, changing the address when both others glared at him.

"Frisk" Sans said, eye sockets fading out as he made sure that the Frisk did her part.

"Forgiven" She reluctantly signed.

"Good" Sans said, lazy nature starting to win out again. "Do I need to stay and keep an eye on you, or are you going to play nice?"

Both of them said "Good" at precisely the same time and immediately glared at the other for it.

"That's better" Sans approved. "Have fun with your puzzles" he said, leaving to go.

Frisk and Papyrus went right back to glaring at each other as soon as he left.

"Come on, human" Papyrus said, ignoring their name. "Let's see if you're a match for the rest of my puzzles"

"Bring it on" Frisk signed. She wasn't backing down from this challenge. Walking with him, she found a mural of Papyrus's face. "Narcissistic much?" she asked.

Flushing an angry orange, Papyrus bit out, "You were taking to long with the spaghetti"

Flipping the one switch she found, Frisk had that puzzle done. "Next" she called.

"This one, made by the great Dr Alphies can be challenging even for me. I'd tell you what the colored squares do, but I forgot" Papyrus taunted.

Flipping the start switch, in instruction manual appeared. Reading the color codes carefully, Frisk smirked. This was easy, so long as she planned out her path ahead of time. Entering a FIGHT with the puzzle, Frisk could easily see a way through. Sparing the puzzle, Frisk walked right through it along the hidden path.

"What, there's no way you could solve it that fast!" Papyrus screamed at her.

"Lie" Frisk signed back, rubbing in her victory. When Papyrus scooted around the puzzle, Frisk couldn't help but ask "Afraid?"

"No, the great Papyrus does not get scared!" He insisted and gave his best attempt at going through the same puzzle. It took so many tries that Frisk lost count. This was starting to get boring.
"Ha, I managed it to" Papyrus shouted, before looking at Frisk. "You weren't even looking?" He exclaimed. When he still got no reply, he had one other question, "Surely you're not asleep?" Hearing a gentle snore, his worry was confirmed. "You can't fall asleep now! This is the middle of Snowdin! Humans get Hypothermia if they fall asleep in this cold weather!" when he still got no response, he groaned. "Why would you even do that, you silly human?" as she remained unaware, Papyrus resorted to shaking her awake. "Get up!" He demanded.

The sudden motion did manage to wake her up. "What's happening?" she slurred, groggy with sleep. She hadn't gotten a chance to rest sense last night, and the walking around was starting to catch up with her.

"Oh no! Alphies said that slurred words were one of the signs of hypothermia. I'm taking you back to my house to warm up"

Nodding her agreement, Frisk went along with Papyrus. Papyrus's house was in Snowdin, so they didn't have very far to go. The bland white of the house's exterior wasn't very impressive to Frisk, who preferred the darker colored exteriors of the home she grew up in. There was no fire, another disappointment. The couch was to big and the room was messy. It was nothing like Toriel's place. Still, Frisk thought, it might be better, that it wasn't like her house as Toriel had ended up being controlling and scary. Still, sinking into the soft cushion of the couch, Frisk felt that this still might be nice.

When he didn't find Papyrus at his station, Sans wasn't initially concerned. Frisk might just be taking a long time to finish the puzzles. That would really make Papyrus happy, getting to boast about how much smarter he was than a human. The plan to cheer him up hadn't been going so well yet. Papyrus had been initially exited that there was a human, but that had quickly faded into disappointment about how the human was doing so well. Then he had gotten downright upset about the spaghetti fiasco, and between the nosiness of the human in question and the insult about Frisk's gender and name, this wasn't going as well as Sans had hoped. By the time that he reached the puzzles and there was no sign of either of the two, Sans was really starting to worry.

Sans looked anywhere he thought the two might be. Neither of them was anywhere along the whole path to Snowdin. They weren't in the library. No one had seen them at the store or inn. Finally checking his house, Sans was worried sick. Still, lying on the sofa, covered in San's blanket, there was Frisk. She really looked cute like that, all relaxed and snuggled up. Still, why was it his blanket that she had? "What's going on, Paps?" he asked his brother when he was located.

"I think that the human was getting hypothermia, brother" Papyrus said, being unusually quiet. "They were falling asleep outside. I don't think that's good for humans, so I brought them in here to warm up"

"Why my blanket, though?" Sans asked.

"You were the one who told me not to kill her" Papyrus said. "I would have just stuck them in your room and have been done with it, but that room is to messy to show to any guest"

"Still, we do have a spare blanket, right?" Sans asked. "I can clearly remember getting one"
"It's buried under your laundry pile" Papyrus defended. "I don't want to go digging through that"

"It's not that bad" Sans started, only to get cut off.

"Yes, it is. There are random cloths lying on everything, that trash tornado of yours has less wrappers than the floor, and the dressers are all stuffed overfull!" Papyrus was starting to raise his voice again.

"Calm down. I'll go clean it up" Sans said, "You just keep an eye out for Frisk"

"Why?" Papyrus asked. "I do have guard duty again in a few minutes. That's enough time for me to finish some more spaghetti for me, and you can deal with your own food. Why are you so worried about the human anyways, Sans?"
