Hi there my readers. I know its been a long time. A very long time. A crazy long time. Let me just fill you in on what has been going on in my life and why it is I have not been able to update anything in such a long time.
First I went to college and for about 7 years. While in college I got my B.A. in Mechanical Engineering \o/ whoooooo. After graduating I was working to raise money to pay for the expensive process that is immigration. You see, I fell in love with, and was dating at the time a German man. And I didn't want to leave my family. So We finally got all the paperwork together and we went ahead and got married. However, due to circumstances none of us could control, I ended up moving to Germany. TADA. So I have been working on getting my German residency. Which has been much easier then trying to get my Husband's US Residency.
Well part of getting your residency while married is to at least have a lvl A1 in german. So I was back in school. But now i'm a resident of Germany. But not terribly long after having all that finalized my grandmother died, fallowed by my dear friend, who was my 3rd grade teacher, my touter for years, my stand in grandmother, and very near and dear friend. That hit me very hard. And took me about 5 months alone to get over. I had to wait in order to afford a plane ticket back to the states so that i could visit the graves. A very emotional visit.
Once I was back home it was time to move. You see before all the bad news me and my husband had bought a house. a 175 year old farm house. That is right we even found a sheep skull in the back yard while breaking down the part. We are working to renovate the whole house back to its original state (with modern luxuriances of course). First step was breaking down the barn to re build it from the ground up. Well we are still waiting on the permit to knock it completely down. But we couldn't keep afford to rent the apartment and the house so we needed to move into the house. Today was the final day of that move in. Now its time to take a breath. Go see a chiropractor kick back drink some gluhwein and eat some schmalzkuchen with the in laws. But, once the holidays are over, it is my hope to get back to typing up the rest of this story.
See what you may not know is. I already have the story all figured out and finished. But its in Drama format. I still have to process all that information into written paragraphs. I also want to go back through what i have already written and maybe update it, make it better, and see if I can fix any grammer and spelling errors I can ketch. Take that with a grain of salt as i'm sure after reading this far you have probably figured out i'm dyslexic. I'll do my best.
Once again i'm so sorry I have left you waiting for so long. Life can be crazy.
