Author's Note: I really apologize for the lack of updates! Been really busy at work!

As soon as the test ended, students slowly dispersed in different directions. Some headed off to get checked out by the medical team while others headed off to find their family.

Cato looked at the crowd and smiled as soon as he saw Jasmine. She waved at him and he lightly tapped Clove as a gesture for her to follow him.

"You finally came to one of the tests." Clove said

She smiled mischievously at Jasmine before turning to Cato, "You have quite an influence."

Jasmine made a face at her friend before her mother spoke.

"Congratulations, you two." Jazline said, "It was quite a test."

"Thank you, Mrs Lykerson." Cato said
"You know I'm always good at what I do, Mrs Lykerson." Clove said

Jasmine's mother chuckled and showed them the basket she had prepared for them.

"I hope you're hungry." Jazline said
"For your cooking, Mrs Lykerson; I'm always hungry!" Clove said

Jazline looked at her daughter and knew that she was trying to find a way to get answers for the questions that were in her head.

"Clove," Jazline said, "Why don't we go over to the bench over there and give these two some time alone?"

Clove nodded and followed after Jazline as they walked over to the bench not too far from where they were previously standing. As soon as they were out of earshot, Jasmine sighed in relief. But, she wasn't entirely relieved. She still had another problem and that was how to ask about Delilah.

Cato looked at Jasmine and knew that there was something up.

"What's wrong?" Cato asked

Jasmine looked at him and sighed, "Cato… Tell me honestly. What happened to Delilah?"

"Well, what do you think?" Cato said

"I want to believe that it is unintentional but… I saw the playback." Jasmine said, "It looked otherwise."

"We merely distracted her." Cato said, "Everything else was just part of the test. If she was paying attention, she wouldn't have gotten injured."

He looked at her, "Are you angry with me?"

Jasmine shook her head, "No… Because I know you're not that kind of person."

"But, you have to promise me that you won't distract any other students again, okay?" She said

Cato grinned, "I'll try."

After bidding good-bye to Cato and Clove, Jasmine and her mother were making their way back home when Mrs Akerbyrnes appeared. She looked disheveled with eyes that were red from crying. As soon as she saw the pair, she headed straight for Jasmine.

Seeing just where Mrs Akerbyrnes was heading to, Jazline stood in front of her daughter.

"YOU!" Mrs Akerbyrnes exclaimed, "YOU! DELILAH'S INJURED BECAUSE OF YOU!"

"What are you talking about?" Jazline said
"Your daughter is the reason why Delilah's in a coma!" Mrs Akerbyrnes said
"Delilah's in a coma?" Jasmine said, softly.

Mrs Akerbyrnes looked at her, "Don't pretend like you didn't know! This is your way of getting back at me for scratching you, isn't it?!"

"You got your boyfriend and best friend to go after Delilah! Now she's in a coma because of a concussion and she even broke her leg!" She added
"I-I'm sorry…" Jasmine said
"Don't apologise." Jazline said

Jasmine looked at her mother and was about to say something until she saw the expressionless face she had.

"Don't blame my daughter for what happened to Delilah." Jazline said, "It's not her fault. This is an Academy test. Accidents happen all the time."

Jasmine looked over her mother's shoulder and could almost see Mrs Akerbyrnes' anger rising.

"YOU WITCH!" Mrs Akerbyrnes exclaimed

She shoved Jazline aside with so much force that she nearly fell face first until someone caught her. Jazline looked up to see Perry, the peacekeeper.

He helped her up and asked, "Are you okay?"

Jazline nodded as she stood up straight. Jasmine hurried over to her mother and stood next to her.

"Are you okay, mom?" Jasmine asked
"Yes." Jazline replied

She looked at Jasmine, "Did she touch you?"

Jasmine shook her head, "The peacekeepers caught her before she could."

The two of them looked ahead of them to see two other peacekeepers, each holding one of Mrs Akerbyrnes' arms.

"Are you both okay?" Perry asked

Both of them nodded and seeing Mrs Akerbyrnes being held by the peacekeepers made them feel bad.

"Can you let her go?" Jazline asked

Perry shook his head, "I'm afraid we can't do that. We saw her trying to physically hurt you. According to Capitol laws, we will have to charge her."

He gave them a polite nod before giving instructions to the two other peacekeepers to head back to their headquarters. Jazline and her daughter stood close together as they watched the peacekeepers bring a sobbing Mrs Akerbyrnes away.
