Spider-Man: The Ultimate Battle

Last time so did Spider-Man run into a second clone of himself, this time it were an identical clone except for having shorten the hair and made it blonde, and after helping to remove the chip in his neck and he told Spidey that he would try to figure out WRAITH and the other villains were planning before he left. Some day after that so did Peter get a call from Norman Osborn, giving him a hint that they had attacked Gwen and George's house, he hurried there to find the house completely destroyed and his girlfriend and his loyal friend and ally injured, he got them to the hospital before he left to hunt for WRAITH members so that he would be able to find Norman and make him pay. But just as he were about to seriously hurt the WRAITH members he had found so did Armor Spider appear and managed to calm him down, then the two of them started to prepare for their battle final battle with WRAITH.

Chapter 10- The final showdown with WRAITH

Spider-Man were swinging away from the hospital where George and Gwen were at, it had now gone a few days since the attack on their house, he had been visiting them both as Peter Parker but had only been visiting George as Spider-Man since it would be suspicious if Spider-Man showed some kind of attachment for the police captain's daughter. George had woken up some hour after Peter had left, but even though it had gone a few days now so hadn't Gwen woke up, also George wouldn't listen to Spidey as he apologized since he blamed himself for them getting hurt, George wouldn't let him blame himself since neither him or Gwen would ever blame him for this.

Spidey were swinging through the air and then noticed someone in a familiar red and blue suit looking at him from a nearby roof, he swung towards it and landed in front of the Scarlet Spider, "Hi there Scarlet, you got something for us?" Scarlet Spider sighed, "I don't really have anything about what they're planning for you and Armor Spider since they had increased the security since they realized that I had been freed from the control they had over me, I'm really sorry that I couldn't do anything". Spidey put a hand on Scarlet Spider's shoulder, "Hey don't worry, if you couldn't do anything then I won't be mad at you, come with me since I am supposed to go an meet Armor Spider in order to discuss our next move", Scarlet Spider nodded and followed him as both of them swung towards the factory.

LATER AT THE FACTORY,

Harry stood there looking at the roof window and saw how both Spider-Man and another one in a spider theme suit which he guessed were the Scarlet Spider which Peter had told him about, both Spider-Men took off their masks and Harry just gasped over how alike they were except for the fact that Scarlet Spider had shorter blonde hair. Harry walked over to them, "So you brought Scarlet here today?" Peter nodded, "I met him on the way here and figured we could let him join our group, speaking of which". Peter looked at Scarlet Spider, "Do you want to help us with the battle against WRAITH?" The Scarlet Spider looked troubled, "One thing, I have figured out a civil name, Ben Reilly, so that you don't have to call me Scarlet Spider all the time".

Peter got a smirk on his face when he heard the name, "So you used both aunt May and uncle Ben when you came up with that name huh?" Harry looked at him confused, "I understand the Ben part of his name, but how does your aunt fit in?" Peter looked at him, "Before she married uncle Ben so were her name Reilly". Harry now understood before they turned back to Ben Reilly as he now called himself who still looked troubled, "Also, as much as I would like to help you we don't know if they put some kind of failsafe into me in case I would ever manage to get rid of the chip in my neck and turn against them, it might break me down or something, they made it sound like they had done that, I don't know and…" Peter took and put a hand on his shoulder with a smile, "Hey we understand, it wouldn't surprise me if they have done that, we won't force you to fight them if it means they can destroy you, right Harry?" Harry agreed to what Peter said and Ben smiled at them sadly, "Sorry for not being able to help in any way".

Peter gave him another smile, "Don't worry, I wouldn't want to risk them breaking your body down, so if you don't want to risk them having put some kind of failsafe into you so will we handle them alone and find a way to find out the truth and try to remove that failsafe if they put one in you". Harry then took out a briefcase and handed it to Ben, he took it confused and opened it only to be shocked to see it full of money.

He looked at Harry and Peter, "What's with the money?" Peter and Harry looked at each other, Harry then looked at him before he spoke, "We figured that after this is over you might want to start your own life so we decided to give you some money that could help you, it will also allow you to leave the city if you want to". Ben looked at Peter a little confused, Peter smiled at him, "We're not thinking about forcing you to leave the city, we were just thinking that you would like to travel a bit, if I were you then I would like to travel around and trying to find out what I should do with my life", Ben smiled and took the briefcase, "Thanks you two, I will think about it, but not before WRAITH is taken down and the escaped villains are back in prison along with their new friends", Peter and Harry nodded before Ben told them that he had heard Norman talk about that they would contact Peter and Harry soon about the final confrontation so they should prepare themselves, Peter and Harry nodded and then Ben told them that they were in a abandoned warehouse which had served as the new headquarter of WRAITH since after Peter's first fight against WRAITH's leader, Ben then put on his mask again and left them to plan what to do while they took and upgraded Harry's suit and made a few more gadgets.

TWO DAYS LATER,

Peter, Harry and Mary Jane where sitting on the couch in Peter's house, watching TV, George had called them and told them that Gwen had woken up but were still too weak and should not get any visitors for a few more days, stopping Peter from web swinging over there as a maniac, he had also them the advice to prepare and for the battle instead of rushing in there unprepared only to get defeated, Peter and Harry had realized that he was right so they had spent the last two days to finish the final upgrades on Harry's suit and their equipment, so now they just waited for them to contact them.

Mary Jane looked at them a little troubled, "Are you guys sure you're ready to face them?" Peter looked at her with a small smile, "As ready as we will ever be to face five of the toughest opponents I have ever faced, right Harry?" Harry nodded, looking a little nervous, "I'm just worried I will just be in your way in this fight, since I'm not familiar with these guys". Peter put a hand on his shoulder, "Harry, I can barely take on those guys one on one alone, there is no way for me to beat them together without you", Harry smiled at him before all three of them looked at the TV as static appeared on it, a few seconds later so did they see Norman Osborn appear on it, to their shock, Norman had a smirk on his face, "Hello citizens of New York, as you know I'm Norman Osborn but I'm also known as the Green Goblin, and I have joined a criminal group known as WRAITH along with Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady, both of them also known as Venom and Carnage and the Black Tarantula, we have decided to join together with the leader of WRAITH to become the five overlords of the all the crimes in the world, but before that we all have a score to settle with a mutual enemy that we all hate, Spider-Man", Peter's eyes narrowed when he heard that as Mary Jane looked at him worried.

"It's time we settle out score with you wall crawler, so we will send you coordinates for our hideout so that you find us, of course your friend Armor Spider is also welcomed to face his end at our hands if he chooses to, since he probably won't let you face us alone".

Suddenly so did a map of New York appear on the TV, with a blinking dot at a certain point in a old abandoned part of the city where the buildings are old and some are unstable, right where the Scarlet Spider had told them. Peter looked at Harry, "Call on your armor Harry and get there, I will get into my suit and get there first", Harry nodded and got out of the house while Peter ran up as he began to pull off his, but as he looked after he didn't find it at first, he then noticed that Mary Jane were standing behind him, she looked at him, "Please be careful tiger, this is a fight nearly impossible for even you two to win, and you two could get seriously hurt or worse". Peter smiled, "I know, but we still have to do that, remember what Norman did to Gwen and George? A lot more people will end up MUCH worse than they did, so we will have to do whatever we can do to stop them, no matter what happens to us", Peter walked over to her and took his mask out of her hands, but before so did Mary Jane lean in and kissed Peter on the lips.

Peter's eyes widened as Mary Jane kissed him before he closed his eyes, the kiss lasted for a few seconds before Mary Jane pulled away, "Gwen is very lucky to have you as a boyfriend, you always puts others before yourself, you're an example over how most people should be, and yet despite a lot not trusting you and hating you, you still fight on, anyone should consider themselves lucky if they were together with you", Peter smiled and they hugged, "Thanks MJ, all I want is to make the city safer for everyone, no matter what people think about me, but having people in my life who support me also gives me strength to overcome a lot of tough challenges, like now, the support you and the others gives us will help us overcome this challenge". Peter made that MJ only meant that kiss to be a onetime thing which she confirmed, Peter smiled at her and took and put his mask over his head and he then grabbed a backpack and put it on before he jumped out of his window, MJ looked after him while holding a hand over her heart, praying for his safety.

LATER AT THE WAREHOUSE,

Spider-Man landed in front of the warehouse, he saw one and a half dozen members of WRAITH standing there, armed, he got ready to fight right before they stepped aside, much to his confusion, "We are not here to trying to stop you, we are here to stop the cops for getting involved with your fight against the masters since you would be too focused on protecting them, and it looks like your friend is also too much of a coward to come". Spidey chuckled, "Don't worry, Armor Spider will show up soon enough, now I have some things to discuss to with your bosses, but first". Spidey grabbed something in the backpack, just as the members lifted their weapons so did Spidey toss a flash grenade into the ground blinding the members, as they were blinded so gave Spidey them all a quick but hard punch to the face knocking them all out, "I won't let you hurt the police officers trying to stop you". he walked into the warehouse.

Spidey looked around the large warehouse, he looked around, "Alright, I'm here, now show yourselves". As he said it so did Venom and Carnage jumped down from the support beams in the roof, while Tarantula and WRAITH's leader and finally so did Green Goblin appear on his glider that looked like it had been upgraded, the Goblin flew down next to the others as he chuckled, "Well thank you for coming Peter, are you ready to die now?" Spidey shook his head, "Sorry Osborn, but before we can begin this game so do we have to wait for our final player", Goblin laughed, "You mean Armor Spider right? Or should I call him my son Harry, I figured it was him as soon as I found out that you're Spider-Man, and I was so proud when he became the second Green Goblin and tried to kill you, and then he joins you? That was such a disappointment". Spidey sighed, "He just realized what kind of person you really were when he found out you were alive and that he were about to become that kind of person as well and he didn't want that, so he did the smart thing, and joined the good side, that's all".

Green Goblin shook his head, "You really are naïve, there is no good or evil, only people with power and people without power, those with power can do whatever they want, like how I destroyed you little girlfriend's house", Spidey clenched his fists in anger when he heard that, "Don't try to use your twisted logic to justify what you did, I will make you pay for hurting her and her father". At that moment so did they hear the roof window shatter and then Armor Spider landed next to Spider-Man who stood underneath the roof window.

Armor Spider looked at Spider-Man, "Looks like I showed up just in time to stop you from throwing yourself at them, we need to keep a calm head if we're going to beat these five buddy so you need to calm down", Spidey looked at him before he took a deep breath and unclenched his fists, Goblin chuckled, "Well it's nice to finally meet you Armor Spider, or maybe I should say it's nice to see you again Harry? Come on son, you can't really believe the nonsense about protecting innocent people that he goes on about?" Armor Spider looked at the Green Goblin, "Hello dad, well before I found out you were still alive I might have not but after experience saving people I truly believe that this is the right path for me, and I won't let you manipulate my life anymore".

The Green Goblin shook his head, "All I tried to do were make you a man, but since you have chosen his side, I guess I will have to take you down as well, and after I kill Parker so will I teach you how the world really works son", Armor Spider and Spider-Man got into battle position, then Venom roared as he ran towards Spider-Man, the wall crawler managed to jump out of the way in time, but then noticed something red coming towards him and just barely managed to get his head cut of by Carnage who had transformed one of his arms into an axe. Spidey quickly got ready as he saw Armor Spider's gauntlet open up at the wrist, then he jumped out of the way as a stream of fire came out and hit the floor next to the alien powered humans, the black and the red symbiote screeched in pain when they felt the fire, but it seemed like it had a bit more affect on Venom than Carnage, Spidey figured that Carnage's symbiote were less vulnerable to loud sound and extreme heat than the black symbiote, as for how Peter had realized the symbiotes weakness for extreme heat were because when they worked on the armor so had he remembered how Venom's symbiote had reacted to an explosion when they fought at Midtown High when Venom tried to expose his identity, so he decided to ad flamethrowers to the armor.

Spidey's spider sense then flared to life and he just managed to get the blade of a sword through his throat, he looked around and saw WRAITH's leader standing there with his sword lifted, looking ready for another rematch, probably wanting to kill Spidey for defeating him last time, Spidey grabbed another flash grenade and tossed it, blinding WRAITH's leader so that he could grab him and toss him across the room before he turned towards Green Goblin and Black Tarantula, Goblin and Tarantula began to make their way towards him when Tarantula were hit with what look like a small ball of webbing that began to wrap itself all around his body as soon as it made contact with him.

Spidey and Goblin looked up towards the roof window and saw the Scarlet Spider hanging upside down on the ceiling right next to the window, "Scarlet, but why are you…" Scarlet Spider looked at him, "I believe they only said that they could break down my body so that I wouldn't help you fight them, but I also realized that even if they were true so didn't it matter, it would be worth it if it meant taking these guys down, so here I am". Spidey then looked at him, "Was that the impact webbing?" Scarlet Spider nodded, "Yeah I finally made it a reality with the money I got from Harry, as soon as it makes contact with a physical form so are the impact webbing going to wrap itself around it until the target is completely covered in webbing".

Spidey were excited to see that the idea for impact webbing really worked until he heard a ripping noise and saw Black Tarantula ripping the webbing apart, "Even though I made the impact webbing stronger than normal webbing so did I know it wouldn't hold him for long", Spidey looked at Scarlet Spider as he spoke, "Keep Goblin busy so will I take out Black Tarantula", Scarlet Spider nodded and swing kicked Green Goblin, sending him and his glider flying before he jumped after him as Spider-Man turned back to Tarantula, Tarantula chuckled, "You really think you can take me on Parker? You see since I now know about my weakness I have take precautions to make sure no one will take advantage of my weakness, my birthmark on my chest, or have you forgotten about the reinforced steel plate I have on my chest? As long as it is there you won't be able to get in a hit there, so you won't defeat me again". Tarantula ran towards Spidey who dodged to the right and placed a hard kick in his back, but the Tarantula managed to grab his leg and lifted him, he lifted Spidey over his head and slammed him into the ground so that the stone floor cracked a bit, Spidey groaned in pain, but as Tarantula lifted him again so did he shoot two web lines at the wall and pulled towards it, pulling Tarantula with him and moved so that Tarantula were the one to get slammed into the wall which allowed Spidey to break free, he quickly grabbed the backpack and pulled it off while he opened it as he landed and looked through it and pulled out something that looked like a big wristband made of metal.

Tarantula got back up and ran towards Spidey who had his back turned towards him, but as he threw a punch at the back of his head so did Spidey dodge and flung out his arm at him and Tarantula heard a loud scratching sound from his chest area, he looked down and saw his short torn and a long and deep scratch in the steel plate on his chest, he looked at Spidey and saw him with the metal wristband on his arm and saw a large blade on it, "You think I didn't remember about that reinforced you covered your chest with?" Me and Armor Spider had prepared to face you guys, including this wrist blade that we forged by mixing a different metals in order to enhance it in order to get through that chest plate of yours". Before Tarantula could react so had Spidey slashed his chest plate twice more times, but immediately after so did he grab Spider-Man and tossed him towards the wall behind him, but Spidey managed to fire a web line at him and pulled him at him, he then attached his feet at the wall he were throw at and jumped towards the flying Black Tarantula and placed a punch in his chest, not only breaking the weakened steel plate but also got in a hard hit on his weak spot, causing him to get paralyzed and weakened, but like last time it would only last five minutes.

But just as he were about to knock him out so did his spider sense warn him for danger but it was too late as he gasped in pain as he felt someone cutting him across his back, he took a stumbling step before he dodged when his spider sense warned him about that he were about to get his head cut off.

He turned around and caught WRAITH's leader's sword before it could cut him, he knew he didn't have time to deal with him, he looked at Scarlet Spider that were locked in a battle with Green Goblin, "Hey Scarlet, this guy need to be tied up for a while", Scarlet Spider looked at him for a moment and nodded as he gave Goblin a swing kick in the chest sending him flying with his glider coming after him, Scarlet Spider attached himself to the wall and told Spidey he was ready, Spider-Man let go of the sword and ducked for the next swing of the blade before he grabbed WRAITH's leader's arms and tossed him towards Scarlet Spider who fired a ball of impact webbing at him, and as soon as the impact webbing touched WRAITH's leader so did it wrap itself around him until his entire body except for the head were wrapped in webbing and he crashed into the wall before he fell to the floor.

Spidey knew that he would soon cut himself out of there but he also knew that it would buy him the time he needed to knock out Black Tarantula, he ran towards Black Tarantula and gave him a powerful right hook in the face before giving him a left hook in the stomach, causing the powerful villain to gasp in pain, Spidey then gave him five more hard punches in the face before giving him a powerful spin kick to the head which sent Tarantula flying across the room into the wall and knocked him out.

Spidey quickly turned around as his spider sense warned him for danger and saw that WRAITH's leader had managed to cut his way out of the impact webbing and right now jumped towards him with his sword lifted, Spidey quickly tried to jump backwards to avoid the blade but was to slow so in order to protect his head so did he cross his arms in front of it, he groaned in pain as he felt the blade cut both of his arms.

Spidey took and placed a hard kick in WRAITH's leader's stomach sending him flying backwards and he landed hard on his back, he jumped back up on his feet while Spidey covered the cuts on his arms with webbing, he ran towards Spider-Man who got ready, Spidey took and ran towards WRAITH's leader while he dodged the blade and placed a hard punch in his chest, sending him flying into the wall, Spider-Man quickly stole the sword with a web line and took and stuck it into the ground before he broke it in half, he then looked at WRAITH's leader who growled as he saw his blade getting broken in half, things weren't going as planned, of course it was because they hadn't counted on their upgrades and that the Scarlet Spider had joined their battle.

Spider-Man cracked his knuckles, "Now let's see how well you will handle me without that sword of yours", Spider-Man ran towards WRAITH's leader who tried to punch him but the web head ducked and rammed one punch after another into his stomach while his back were against the wall, cracking it, he after giving him eight hard punches to the stomach so did he give WRAITH's leader one last hard punch to face knocking him out cold, he had now taken down two of the five members, he looked up and saw Scarlet Spider still looked in a battle with the Goblin who were throwing pumpkin blades at Scarlet Spider, he saw how Scarlet Spider knocked the Goblin away and he jumped up on the wall and Scarlet Spider landed next to him, Spider-Man took of the wrist blade and handed it to him, "Take this and go help Harry with Carnage and Venom, show it to him and he will know what to do, I have a score to settle with Osborn", Scarlet Spider nodded and took the wrist blade and jumped towards Armor Spider while Spider-Man took and swung towards Green Goblin and landed on the glider in front of him while he grabbed his arms so that he couldn't throw anything at him or try to punch him, Goblin chuckled, "You know I think there is too little space in here don't you agree Peter? What do you say we take this outside?" Before Spider-Man could say anything so did Goblin fly up towards the roof window and flew out of it.

Scarlet Spider looked at the roof window, hoping that Peter would be okay, he then called out to Armor Spider while holding up the wrist blade, Armor Spider who were currently wrestling with Venom while trying to avoid Carnage from cutting him to pieces, but he had managed to slash his armor quite a few times, leaving deep cuts in it, weakening it greatly. Armor Spider looked at Scarlet Spider and saw the wrist blade, he took and sidestepped Venom's punch and just his own power and speed against him and tossed him straight into Carnage, he lifted his arm and his flamethrower and aimed it at the blade, the flames that came out heated up the blade until it were bright red from the heat, Scarlet Spider realized what the plan were just as Venom jumped on Armor Spider again and Carnage ran towards Scarlet Spider while he chuckled, "I will now slice and dice you, but don't worry, I will place what remains of you in a lunch box to save for later".

Scarlet Spider shuddered, it seemed that Carnage were more insane now than last time Spider-Man had faced him, he suddenly felt his spider sense flare up and just barely managed to dodge Carnage axe arm and then jumped back to avoid his spear arm, he were a little confused over that his spider sense were working against the symbiotes when Spider-Man's didn't, but then he got a theory, because he were a clone so did it seem like some things were different for him, like the symbiotes ability to bypass the spider sense, it seemed like that while they can bypass the original Spider-Man's spider sense so couldn't they could block his spider sense since he's not the original one, and he knew that the fact that his spider sense would still warn him probably would save his life against Carnage.

His spider sense once again took and warned him and he dodged the axe arm again before he used the hot wrist blade and slashed Carnage, he could hear the alien suit screech in pain from getting cut by the hot blade, Scarlet Spider took and placed a hard kick where he had just cut the alien suit, which were the spot where it were the weakest at the moment, dealing a bit of damage to the host body as well as the symbiote had retreated from that spot for a few seconds because of the heat from the slash from the up heated blade, Carnage took a few stumbling steps while he growled, he took and formed his spear arm into another axe and ran towards Scarlet Spider at an amazing speed, if he hadn't had his spider sense so would Carnage have cut him into tiny pieces but the second wall crawler managed to dodge every axe swing thanks to his biological early warning system.

Scarlet Spider managed to sidestep one of Carnage's attacks and slashed him across his back with the up heated blade before he placed a hard spin kick in his back, Carnage fell on his stomach, he got up and growled in pure anger now, Scarlet Spider knew he couldn't keep this up for much longer, as he dodged another axe swing so did he call out to Armor Spider, "Hey Armor Spider, I can't avoid Carnage much longer and your armor can't keep it up much longer either so we need to end this now". Armor Spider who had just avoided some of Venom's tentacles nodded, both of them waited as the alien/human hybrids came towards them, they dodged their attacks and grabbed their arms and tossed them so they collided with each other.

Then before they could get up so activated Armor Spider his jet boots and flew around them while he used his flamethrower to form a circle of fire around them, causing both of them to roar in pain as the symbiotes were greatly affected over how close the fire were to them. Scarlet Spider jumped up on the wall right next to them as Armor Spider landed and stopped his flamethrower so that the suit wouldn't lose the last of its power and shut down, Scarlet Spider soon saw the exposed backs of Eddie Brock and Cletus Kasady as the suit withdrew from those spots, he quickly fired two web lines at their exposed backs and then pulled hard, and pulling for a few seconds so did he pull them right out of the symbiotes and out of the ring of fire and they fell onto the floor as Scarlet Spider landed next to Armor Spider, they saw how the ring of fire started to disappear, Armor Spider were about to use more fire to finish the alien symbiotes off when Eddie and Kasady jumped on both of them, while they shook them off themselves so did the fire disappear and the alien symbiotes quickly fled through a hole in the wall before they could fire at them again. Both of the heroes sighed frustrated as the symbiotes had escaped them before they walked towards Kasady and Eddie while Eddie yelled, "Noooo, come back, I love and need you and I know you love me too for our shared hatred for Spider-Man", they knocked both of them unconscious before they looked up at the roof window, "Now for all of this to finally end so much Pete defeat my father, but I know he can do it, he has done it before", Scarlet Spider nodded and hoped that Spider-Man would be able to defeat the Green Goblin without him hurting him even further.

AT THAT MOMENT WITH SPIDER-MAN AND GREEN GOBLIN,

Spider-Man were standing on the roof of an abandoned three storey building, he had gotten an electrical shock from Goblin that had allowed Goblin to toss him off from his glider but he had managed to fire a web line and get to the roof he were currently stood on and had been dodging pumpkin bombs and pumpkin blades, which weakened the already roof as big holes appeared in it because of the bombs.

He looked up at the Green Goblin that were coming towards him from the front as the forked blade came out from the mouth on the glider, Spider-Man quickly jumped over him and snatched the bomb the Green Goblin had just been about to activate, he activated it and attached it to the engine, soon after the it exploded and destroyed the engine causing it to fall onto the roof while Goblin flew off it and landed on his stomach on the roof.

Green Goblin got up on his feet as he growled in anger, "You have stood in my way far too long now Peter, before I felt sad over having to kill you, but now I will be relieved once you're gone for good", Spider-Man's eyes narrowed, "That will never happen Osborn, I will take you down and make sure that you will never hurt anyone else, like you hurt Gwen and George", Goblin laughed, "You know you could be a ruler with your powers, like I said before so are people divided into strong people and weak people, you and I are powerful people, we could do anything we want and take anything we want", Spider-Man lifted his fist, "That's not the way people with power should be, they should their power to try to help people so that no one will have to get hurt".

Goblin laughed, "You really are a naïve fool aren't you Parker? Of course I remember now that your uncle was a naïve fool too, so I guess he's the reason why you are like this huh?" Spider-Man clenched both of his fists, "Don't talk about uncle Ben like that, he was a great man who knew you should help people if you had the power to do it, of course before I could get that into my skull when I had just gotten my powers so was he killed because of me letting a criminal go without stopping him, the same criminal which would not long after be the first one I captured, that lesson made me realize what uncle been had been trying to tell me, that if you possess great power than you have a great responsibility to use them for the right purpose, in my case, to protect the city so no more innocent people would have to die because of some robber or burglar or something".

Goblin took out two pumpkin blades, "Enough talking, let's finish this Parker, and once I'm finished with you I will kill your little girlfriend and her father, and even if you somehow defeat me you're too weak to actually finish me, and once I escape again the first thing I will do is kill them, and I will make sure you're watching while I'm killing them". Spidey growled, he ran towards the Green Goblin and dodged the first blade, but the second one cut him across the chest however he got in a powerful uppercut sending Goblin flying backwards and landed on the roof hard, he saw Spider-Man coming jumping towards him with a punch ready, he rolled out of the way just in time as Spider-Man made another hole in the roof, the Goblin gave Spider-Man an hard kick in the head which sent him rolling across before he got up just in time to catch both of Goblin's arms and kept him from driving both of the blades into his head.

"This is it Parker, we will finally end this once and for all", Spider-Man glared at him, "For once I agree with you Osborn, this ends now", Spider-Man then pulled Green Goblin towards him and placed a knee in his stomach, then he tossed him across the roof and jumped on him and placed one hard punch after another in his face, he stopped after about a minute or so, Goblin were groaning in pain, he looked at Spider-Man, "You may have defeated me, but I will escape like I said, and once I do, I will finish your beloved girlfriend and her father, your friend captain George Stacy", Spider-Man didn't say anything and just stood up and walked towards the damaged glider.

Spider-Man lifted the glider before he stuck the forked blade into the roof before he kicked the glider so that the blade broke off, he pulled it out of the roof and walked towards Goblin again. Goblin who realized what he planned to do got a sick smile on his face, "So you are actually planning to finish me off? I guess you really are capable of crossing the line", Spider-Man lifted blade over his head, he waited for a second before he roared and swung down the blade but it got stuck into the ground right next to Goblin's head, he looked at the web head who were gasping, "If I were to do this, then I would be no better than you, I wanted to see how you would react to being in this situation, I will not kill you even though many would agree that you would deserve it".

Goblin laughed, "You fool, I guess that you and I will just have to go to our graves together", he then pressed a button on his belt, the glider fired out two dozen pumpkin bombs and most of them fell into the holes and into the building, Spider-Man's spider sense went berserk as the all the bombs exploded and the building began to tremble as it were about to collapse, he quickly grabbed Goblin, "Come on Osborn, we need to get away from here", but the Goblin pulled away from him, "I would rather die than be saved by you, and the great part is that I will take you with me", at that moment so did the roof collapse under Goblin and he fell down before Spider-Man could get to him again, he then quickly had to jumped off the building as it collapsed, he attached to another building as he saw the three storey building became nothing more than rubble, he knew that the chance that Osborn had survived that were low, but since he had survived getting a building collapsing over him so did he know it was possible, he then hurried back to the warehouse.

BACK AT THE WAREHOUSE,

Armor Spider and Scarlet Spider looked up at the roof window as they heard someone landing on the roof and saw an exhausted Spider-Man on the roof before he jumped down, they came over to him, "What happen to my father Pete?" Spider-Man sighed, "He made the building we were on to collapse, I tried to get to him but he pulled away and then the roof under him fell apart and he fell into the crumbling building, I just got away in time, I'm sorry", Armor Spider put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't blame yourself, you tried to help him, and also you have survived getting a building over you so it's a slight chance he did too", he nodded and they then told him that the symbiotes had escaped and he growled a little, but let it go since it couldn't be helped.

Spider-Man looked at them both, "So what about Miles Warren? Did you find him?" They shook their head before Scarlet Spider said, "We went to his lab but it was empty and the files on his computer were erased so he must have downloaded them on a hard drive and took them with him, he probably noticed that we were winning and decided to leave so that he could escape the law again, anyway what are we going to do with these guys?"

Spider-Man looked at the unconscious villains, "We will return Eddie and Kasady to the mental institute and then get into contact with S.H.E.I.L.D and have them take care of Tarantula and WRAITH's leader as well the other WRAITH members outside". But at that moment so did S.H.E.I.L.D agents along with Nick Fury himself enter the warehouse, having seen the broadcast Norman did so did they watch the situation and would step in if they were needed, but now that it was all over so did they arrive to arrest the villains.

LATER AT THE S.H.E.L.D HELLICARRIER,

Spider-Man, Armor Spider and Scarlet Spider stood next to Nick Fury in the control room as they watched WRAITH's leader, Cletus Kasady and Black Tarantula sitting in their cells through the monitors, Fury had unwillingly agreed to return Eddie to the mental institute but deemed Kasady too dangerous so he would spend the rest of his life up here along with the other two, Fury looked at Spider-Man, "We're currently looking through the rubble but so far no sign of Osborn, I got a bad feeling he somehow managed to get away".

Spider-Man nodded, "Yeah I have the same feeling, but if he shows himself again then I will stop him again", Fury nodded and turned to him, "You did well Peter Parker", the three of them looked at him in shock and Fury laughed, "Oh come on Parker, I'm the leader of a huge spy organization, did you think I wouldn't find out?" He looked at Armor Spider, "You also did well Harry Osborn as did you, I believe you decided to call yourself Ben Reilly right?" Fury asked as he looked at Scarlet Spider, the three of them looked at him a little worried, Fury sighed, "Look I'm not going to tell anyone your identities, they will be put into the files S.H.E.I.L.D have on you but that information will never leave the helicarrier, I hope this will make you trust me a little more and maybe considering joining S.H.E.I.L.D one day",

Spider-Man sighed and held out his hand, "I don't know Fury, still not liking how S.H.E.I.L.D handle some situations, but like you said, maybe one day, as long as you keep in mind that we won't cross the line", Fury smiled as he shock Spider-Man's hand, "I think that's acceptable, now let's get the three of the you back down to the city shall we?" They nodded and went to get to one of S.H.E.I.L.D's flying vehicles to get them down to the city.

A FEW WEEKS LATER,

Spider-Man and Armor Spider were flying through the air, one with webs and the other one with jet boots, things had been pretty calm during the past few weeks since they defeated the WRAITH organization and took down their leaders, Gwen had woken up and both she and her father had been released from the hospital so things were back to normal in their civil lives, of course Norman Osborn were nowhere to be found and Miles Warren were still out there doing who knows what kind of horrible genetic experiments, but life were still peaceful and they enjoyed it while they could, since they knew it wouldn't last.

They soon saw Scarlet Spider standing on a roof waiting for them, they landed next to him, "Hi Scarlet, what's up man? Haven't seen you in a few days, man I wished you could have seen Jameson's face when he found out that there were not one but two Spider-Men in New York now, TOTALLY priceless I'm telling you, I wish I had managed to take a picture of it". Scarlet Spider chuckled a bit before he got serious, "I'm actually here to say good bye". At that moment so did the other two notice a backpack at his feet. Spider-Man looked at him, "So you're really leaving?" Scarlet Spider nodded and sighed, "Yeah I have been thinking and realized I should do as you suggested, I will travel around for a while to try and find out what I should do with my life as well as continue being Scarlet Spider, but don't worry I will return one day". Spider-Man walked over to him and hugged him, he returned it, "Do what you feel you have to do Ben, but don't take too long to return because we will miss you little bro, and I know aunt May won't be too happy about her new nephew are leaving so you really shouldn't be gone too long for your own sake".

After they had defeated WRAITH so had Peter and Harry introduced Ben to aunt May, Ben had been nervous since she wouldn't want to be around him since he were nothing but a copy of Peter, but she had openly welcomed him and said that he were a part of their family, something that had made him very happy, but still decided that it were better to stay in a apartment to figure out what he should do, which she had unwillingly accepted but told him to visit often which he promised to do.

Scarlet Spider chuckled, "I know she won't be happy but she will understand big bro, now then I should probably leave before I change my mind", he took and picked up the backpack and put it on his back, he looked and them and said good bye before he jumped off the roof and swung away, Spider-Man looked after him a little sad but Armor Spider put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry buddy, he said it himself, he will return one day and then the Spider gang will be reunited once again and the criminals in the city will be in triple trouble", Spidey chuckled before looked at Armor Spider and nodded, they looked after Scarlet Spider who were getting smaller and smaller, hoping he would find his path in life.
