"Christian" I said "I would like you to meet my son Kyle. He is 4 years old just like you" Kyle smiled and waved at Christian. Christian looked at Kyle but said nothing. Kyle noticed the Scooby toy and stated wiggling. I set him down and watched him run in to the living room. I could hear the guys telling Kyle not to run and be careful around the TV.
I watched Kyle come back in with Scooby doo and the witch's ghost. He came over and showed it to Christian. That little boy's eyes lit up when he saw the movie case. Christian looked at April for permission. She set him down and as they were going out of the kitchen I could hear Kyle yelling "dddddddaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddd we wanna watch a movie pleaseeeeeeeeeeee".
After the movie started at everyone but the kids came back in to the kitchen. Waited about 10 minutes before going to get the boys for lunch. I brought them to the table and sat them down beside each other and April and I were on either side of them.
Christian went shy again around the turtles. We weren't pushing him to talk but April would ask him and Kyle questions. After lunch Christian and Kyle asked if they could be excused and brought his plate to the sink.
They boys headed back to the living room to finish the movie. Around the table we were discussing everything happening, we wondered what happened between Christian and his parents. April said that she wanted to take responsibility for Christian.
After we headed in to the living room and sat down and watched the movie with the boys. We spent the rest of the day playing games and getting to know Christian.
That night we had set up a fort in Kyle's room made of blankets and other things. After the boys were asleep I headed off to bed I was exhausted. I lied down and fell asleep very quickly. I woke up in the middle of the night with a severe pain. I looked down and noticed a wet spot. My water had broken.
I was in labor.
