AN: I'm back with another installment of Frozen As It Should Have Been Season 2 in which Anna has had her epiphany and tries to catch the sled, only to realize the sled took off after her. As usual, Frozen is owned by the Walt Disney Company

Anna kept moving, hoping at some point, she'd catch up to the sled, not realizing that the sled was the exact same one Elsa had used to get her. Kristoff had parked it behind the mountain slope. "Elsa! Wait! I wanna go too!" she yelled to no avail as Elsa was too far away to hear her pleas.

Meanwhile, Elsa couldn't shake the feeling that they were forgetting something. She poked Kristoff.

"I think we should turn back", she stated.

"Why? Forget Something?"

"Well, no but"

"Well, I see no reason not to turn back", Kristoff stated and the tone of his voice said the subject was closed. Again, Elsa couldn't shake the feeling they should have turned around or not have left abruptly and she, for one, was NOT going to sic the guards on her own sister, because where there's guards, an arrest would surely follow.

"Kristoff, you WILL turn this sled around or so help me, you will be placed under arrest for treason by order of the queen", Elsa stated in a tone that suggested she was NOT playing around. Kristoff gulped and conceded, stopping the sled and turning it around, heading back into the woods.

"All right, now where would she be?" Elsa asked.

"Do YOU have any idea where she might have been?" Kristoff asked.

"No. You have to remember that Anna and I were isolated in the castle after the mishap with my powers so the only times we went outside were in the castle courtyard, not the castle town", she explained. Kristoff nodded to show he understood where she was coming from and her determination to find her sister. "For the record, you were never in danger of facing arrest. That was only a threat to get you to turn around", she clarified.

"Well, it worked", he stated. Suddenly, Hans, who had been sitting in the sled in complete silence, spoke up.

"It's nice to know that you have someone who cares about you and your welfare. If I went missing, my family would write me off as a lost cause", he grumbled.

"Why did you try and do it?" Elsa asked, hoping to gain some intel regarding his attempted usurpation of her kingdom.

"What? My coup? Listen, I'm 23 years old, my oldest brother is ruling the Southern Isles right now. When he dies or steps down, then my next oldest brother takes over, same basic principle. By the time it gets to me, I would probably be either very old or dead. That's why I did what I did. I wasn't lying when I said it wasn't anything personal against you", he stated. Elsa snorted.

"Sounds to me it probably was", she fired back. Hans froze.

"You got me. Maybe I was a little jealous", he stated before noticing a figure wandering around the area like they were lost. "Hey, Reindeer Man! Call off your pet!" he shouted. Kristoff saw the figure as well and smacked the reins before she was run down and killed. The figure was still too far away to make out who it was.

"Is it Anna?" Elsa asked worriedly

"Well, it's hard to tell", Kristoff stated. "Hey, you! You lost?" He shouted in the figure's direction. The figure didn't answer.

"Do you need any help?" Hans chimed in. Again, no answer. Suddenly, they heard hooves in the distance and the only issue was that the quartet wasn't sure if the hooves were coming for them or the figure in front of them. The hooves got closer.

"Move the sled and let them pass", Elsa stated. Kristoff nodded and moved the sled so the horses could pass them. As soon as they did so, they saw the horses were bearing Arendelle's insignia, meaning only one thing and Elsa said it perfectly, "Someone betrayed us". The riders bypassed them and went straight for the figure.

"Stop! That's Anna!" Elsa yelled but it was no use, the guards didn't stop. Gathering her powers, Elsa froze the ground, sending her own men slipping and sliding all over. But one of them was smarter than the most, proving it by sidestepping the ice Elsa was firing at them until he reached his target.

"You are coming with us", he stated, grabbing Anna's arms and holding them behind her back.

"Arrest her and I'll have you arrested for treason", Elsa threatened. The guard froze.

"You won't"

"Try me", Elsa didn't say anything in rebuttal. She decided to see who was compromised and who wasn't.

"Everyone! Put your weapons down!" she ordered. Almost everyone lying on the ground put down their weapons, except the guard holding Anna. "How do I know you're not on my side?" she asked the man.

"You don't", he said, before reading Anna her rights and tossing her into a paddy wagon to be taken back to the kingdom to be tried. One of the guards approached the quartet.

"Your majesty, if it's any condolences to you, we were against this from the start, but one was abamanment we take the matter into our own hands when you didn't return", he stated.

"We almost did but I had a conscience attack", Elsa replied.

"Meaning?"

"We actually came ourselves to try and get Anna back and fix this summer problem. Anna refused to come back with us, so we left to return ourselves but Anna changed her mind and tried to catch us. Meanwhile, I had a sinking feeling we should have turned back", Elsa explained.

"Noted. I'll tell our superior to absolve you guys of any wrongdoing. I can't say the same for Anna though", the guard stated.

"She has powers."

"That makes 2 of you. I served your family faithfully and I'm telling you, I never saw Anna exhibit any magical powers", he stated.

"Because she was being told to conceal them", Elsa related what she was told from the trolls and surprisingly enough, he was surprised.

"I'm gonna have to re-vet my inner circle", Elsa stated. She allowed the guards to lead them back to the castle.

AN: That's it! That's it! Chapter 11 will be here shortly. R&R!
