Chapter 10: When Our Universe is on the other side Christmas special!
Okay so I had a chapter half written before this one but it took place during school plus today is Christmas so Yeah I wanted to write this. Please Enjoy. :D
"Where's the snow?" Bumblebee said in an aggravated tone, his arms folded across his chest. Today was Christmas Eve, and Bumblebee was very confused about the lack of snow during the December month. "We live in California, the only place that snows around here is in Big Bear." Jeremiah said while putting reindeer antlers on Blurr. "Blurr the blue horned robot had very fast feet!" He started singing after the antlers where on him properly.
"This-is-really-fun-I-cant-wait-to-see-this-Santa-guy-and-" Blurr said before being cut off. "NO! Blurr you cant see Santa! He knows when you're sleeping!" Bumblebee screamed. He still believed in Santa due to the fact that Sari, having a teen body but mind set of a child, told Bumblebee about Santa Clause, and Destiny didn't have the heart to tell him the truth. Jeremiah wanted to ruin it for him, but was threatened when she held a Nerf gun to his head.
Meanwhile on the roof Destiny was having the "Santa Talk" with the two bots that would take it well. "So there's no such thing as Santa?" Skywarp asked in a pleased tone, knowing that no one would be breaking in while they slept. "Yes no one is gonna hurt you Warp." She said. "I think this is a lot of trouble just to lie to children." Prowl said while pinching his nasal ridge, still not believing that he believed in Santa Clause. "We all have been there Prowly, besides it helps sometimes." Destiny said while patting his back. "Well me and Jeremiah have some left over money and where going to try to get you guys-"
"Presents!" Prowl, Skywarp and Destiny looked to see Random Blitzwing in human Holo-form, holding a sack and wearing a Santa hat while floating across from them. "Get down now!" Prowl snapped. Blitzwing just 'eeped' before flying down to the living room. He turned into robot mode before puffing out his chest. "I waz thinking, why wait for gifts when you can get them your self." Blitzwing said as he pulled out stuff ranging from Xbox's to simple toys.
"Awesome!" Jeremiah and Bumblebee screamed. Thundercracker picked up a toy before tossing it aside. "Not a worthy enough gift." He said. Soon Thundercracker and Hothead where in a heated argument. "Blitzwing…how did you pay for these?" Destiny said while looking at one of the video games. Blitzwing stopped before changing to Icy. "Pay is a very, very, very loose term." Icy said. Human eyes, and Autobot (And Skywarp's) optics widened. "YOU STOLE THESE!?" Prowl Bumblebee and Jeremiah yelled. Random chipped in with an innocent giggle. "Maybe." Blurr then knocked him out. "First, -you-will-not-steal-while-we-are-in-this-world. -And-secondly-SANTA-IS-THE-ONE-WHO-BRINGS-THE-GIFTS-NOW-ALL-YOU-WILL-GET-IS-COAL!" Blurr said as he picked up all the toys. Jeremiah picked up some plastic bags that fell out of the sack.
"The bags are from Target, come on Blurr lets take them back." Jeremiah said as Blurr nodded. They both walked to ally, Blurr transformed into a car and Jeremiah eagerly jumped in.
~At Target
Blurr and Jeremiah where in the parking lot. Blurr was in human holo-form and holding the bag. "Okay-Jeremiah-you-walk-in-the-door-, I'll-ennter-before-it-closes-and-put-everything-back." Blurr said. Jeremiah understood, if Blurr would have ran in he would have hit the door or the door would have looked as if it opened on its own. Both where a no go if it was a matter of not looking suspicious.
Jeremiah walked to the automatic door, as right as it opened all the way, a blue blur past him others. The people around looked and wondered where the sudden gust of wind came from. After about a minute Blurr was in front of Jeremiah. "Mission-accomplished-lets-go!" he said before picking up the young boy and running back to the temporary home.
~Back home
"Do you have anything to say?" Prowl said, scolding Blitzwing like a mother would her child. "If I steal something, don't tell jou?" Random asked. Prowl had to resist the urge to strangle the triple changer. "Your wasting your time on him, he's a Decepticon, and is just going to annoy you till you deactivate him or he deactivates you." Thundercracker said with a smug grin. He was laying on the make shift couch using Skywarp as a footstool. "Is that really necessary?" Prowl asked. "Is what necessary, telling you the truth or using the inferior clone as a foot stool? The answer to both questions is yes." Thundercracker said before guzzling down some oil he 'found'. Skywarp let out a whimper. "Keep it up Thundercracker, and all your gonna get is coal." Bumblebee said from his spot in the corner, he was making some paper snowflakes to put around the house. Thundercracker just rolled his eyes. Prowl sighed, he couldn't let Bumblebee be oblivious to this anymore. "Bumblebee, listen, I know Sari told you that Santa was real but-" Prowl was cut off with Destiny glomping his midsection. "Prowl! Hey I follow me for no reason!" She said while pushing the heavy frame into another room.
"What do you think your doing?" She whispered angrily to him. "I don't think it's right to trick someone into believing something that isn't real." Prowl whispered back. She sighed. "Listen, I understand where you're coming from, but like I said sometimes it helps, it retains some innocence." She said. Prowl helm tilted to the side in confusion. She sighed again. "What I mean is. For a child or anyone who believes in something like Santa, it shows that there still innocent. I mean Bumblebee has been fighting for a while, and he even just found out he technically doesn't exist. To any other person they would probably be on the brink of insanity or depressed. But it's stuff like this that makes things better and comforts them. Look at him." She said. Both she and Prowl peaked out and saw Bumblebee hanging up some of the snowflakes. Prowl smiled lightly.
"Now do you really want to tell him?" she asked. Prowl shook his helm no and walked back out. "Oi Prowl, check it out, I made snow!" Bumblebee yelled while throwing paper flakes everywhere. Prowl let out an agitated sigh. "He's watching Bumblebee." Prowl muttered. Bumblebee then froze and immediately started to apologize and clean up his mess.
"Hey where back." They all turned their heads to see Blurr and Jeremiah. "Listen we have to go guys. See ya." Destiny said. Jeremiah let out a loud groan and followed his sister.
After they left they left, Destiny and Jeremiah counted their money and where disappointed to see they didn't have enough money to buy their robotic friends any gifts. "You think we can just tell Bee that Santa didn't know they where in town?" Jeremiah said. He was met with the familiar sight and sound of her pounding her head on the table.
The next day was Christmas and it was 9am. The tradition in their house was they would open one present on Christmas Eve and the rest with the family on Christmas. One of there sisters was still at work and the other two where up late the previous night so they decided to open the rest of the presents at noon when they where all there. This gave plenty of time for Destiny and Jeremiah to visit the bots.
The closer they got to there temporary home the sadder they got. They really wanted to get them something, but with buying their sisters presents and each other a present they just lost track of their money. When they reached the door they heard a loud "riiiiiip!" They both gave each other a confused look before opening the door. They saw Bumblebee on the floor holding a box that was half covered in yellow and black stripped wrapping paper, the other half being in his hand. "Hey guys, your just in time." Bumblebee said.
Both humans looked around the room and the others sitting, each holding a box. "Here, there's one for you guys two." Bumblebee said while tossing a box to Destiny and Jeremiah. Jeremiah's box was medium sized and wrapped in all red with a white puffball on it. Destiny's box was small, the size of her hand and was wrapped in toxic green paper with a black ribbon on top.
"Blitzwing?" Both humans said in unison while looking at the triple changer. "Hey it wasn't me this time!" Blitzwing said. "It's-true-we-woke-up-and-they-where-here!" Blurr said. "Well duh, Santa brought them." Bumblebee said while continuing opening his present. They decided to just ignore this oddness for now and sit down. Bumblebee opened his present and pulled out music player and a headset. "Music!" Bumblebee yelled as popped the headset on and looked through it, finding a wide verity of music. "I never heard these bands…but I like it!" He said again, playing the song Headstrong by Trapt.
"Me-next!" Blurr yelled. He had a medium box wrapped with light blue paper. He opened it and pulled out black velvet seat covers. "Ooooh-soft!...-what?...-my-interior-gets-cold-when-I-run." Blurr said while snuggling the seat covers.
"What ever. My turn." Thundercracker said. He had a flat box, it was rectangular and fit in his lap, it was covered in dark blue and black checker pattern wrapping paper. He opened the box to be met with the sight of- "COAL!" Bumblebee yelled and pointed to black rocks and started laughing. Thundercracker stood up to hurt the yellow scout but stopped when something shiny reflected out the box. He knelt down to the box and pushed aside the coal to reveal a small mirror. Thundercracker picked up the mirror and cleaned off the coal residue. He looked in the mirror and gave himself a smug grin. "This is an acceptable gift." He said, still looking at his reflection.
"Oh brother. Prowl you go next." Bumblebee said. Prowl didn't have a box, his gift was big enough to fit in both servos and was wrapped in black wrapping paper, the only thing keeping the paper together was gold tape. He opened it swiftly and saw it was a book. "You go a book?" Jeremiah said in a bored tone. "It's a book on animals and plants." Prowl said with a pleased smile.
They all turned their head when they heard a faint ripping sound. They all turned to see Skywarp slowly tearing his gift. His gift was a lump that was wrapped in purple paper. When he finally got it all off it was reveled to be a baby blue teddy bear with button eyes and a red heart sewn on the left foot. Skywarp smiled wide and held the stuffed toy close.
Finally it was Blitzwing's turn. His gift was a large box wrapped in red, black, and white strips. He tore it apart immediately and saw a box full of coal. Random dived into the box and began to dig till he hit the bottom. "Found it!" they heard Random scream. He popped out of the box with coal dusk all over him; he was wielding his gift pridefully. "It's a…. ball in a cup." Destiny said. The toy soon hypnotized Blitzwing.
Both humans giggled lightly. "Hey you guys haven't opened your gifts." Bumblebee pointed out. Jeremiah didn't hesitate, he ripped the wrapping paper and popped opened the box. Inside the box was a slingshot. "Oh man this is awesome! Do you know how long it takes to find a genuine sling shot, I mean the ones at the toy store and dollar store never have enough elasticity." Jeremiah said. He picked up a piece of coal and aimed at Thundercracker. Though he decided not to and set it down.
Destiny looked down at her small gift and undid the ribbon. She then lifted the top and looked inside. Her face blushed dark red. "What is it?" Jeremiah asked and peaked in the box and his mouth opened in horror. "RUN! SHE HAS A MISTLE TOE!" Jeremiah screamed as he ran out.
Bumblebee ran out as well. "If she catches you under it then you have to kiss! Why Santa why!?" Bumblebee yelled. Soon Blurr and Blitzwing where out and Thundercracker wasn't even listening, to busy looking at himself.
"Oh haha very funny." Destiny said closing the box. She didn't understand why she got Mistletoe. Maybe… "Hey Prowl. Can I use the Mistletoe on you?" She asked. Prowl grew stiff but drew out a deep sigh. "Alright…but not on the lip components." He said. The female let out a squeal. Okay sure she couldn't get the lips but she got to kiss his cheek. She lifted the little plant over her and Prowl and kissed his cheek for a few seconds. "Thanks Prowl!" She said. He turned his head and quickly pecked her cheek. He smiled at her reaction. She fell back, her mouth opened from shock and face a dark red.
After about an hour of hanging with there friends (and Destiny abusing the Mistletoe) they saw it was time to head home and see if there sisters where there. "Okay guys well see you later." Jeremiah said as he and his sister walked out. The robots saying their goodbyes. The rest of the day went off well. Though the question still stayed in the minds of those who refused to believe it.
