Rabbit Season
In the town of Douglas Wyoming the team was on the hunt for the noble rabbit.
"According to the GPS Tracker that our technically minded friends made, we're in the town of Douglas Wyoming." Jackie explained.
Matt answered, "What I'd like to know is that is this even the right place for Rabbits? Perhaps the locator spell is busted or perhaps Camille's Celestial Key of the Noble Rabbit is fried," he got hit by Uncle, "Ow!"
Uncle lectured him while holding a carrot, "Locator spell is working perfectly and Celestial Key holding spirit of Liu Rin the Noble Rabbit are in sync!"
"And besides I got plenty of carrots just in case the local rabbits decide to feast upon them." Camille added.
"Well, that makes things simpler but did we have to leave Jade with Rainbow Dash?" Jackie asked, "Why couldn't we have left her at the shop with Tohru and Rarity?"
"Because Jade seems to take direction best from Rainbow Dash, Camille, and myself." Carol answered.
"And frankly she'd find a way to follow us anyway," Aang added, "Plus we need Rainbow Dash to help us in case Liu Rin's noble descendant shows up."
"So now that we got that covered let's just bag this bunny before the forces of darkness do." Chloe said.
Rainbow Dash flew in, "Chloe's right. Besides with my super speed and Fluttershy's animal skills bagging this bunny will be a snap. It's not like the forces of Darkness are gonna send nine waves of Shadowkhan ninjas to attack us."
Right on cue an entire legion of Shadowkhan appeared and surrounded the team.
"Rainbow Dash!"
"How the buck was I supposed to know Shadowkhan would attack us? Ow!"she got whacked by Uncle.
"Have you learned nothing? Do not tempt fate!"
"Let's just blow these guys away and find the rabbit." Camille said. The others agreed to that as they went into battle with the Shadowkhan.
Matt settled on headbutting and using fire power upon the ninjas while his sister Chloe was shooting lightning at the Shadowkhan. Rainbow Dash was busy using her abilities flying around the Shadowkhan and tackling them as Jade was using her blow fish to blast the ninjas.
Jackie was using his martial arts to defend himself while Carol and Camille were using bending and magic respectively to fend off the Shadowkhan that were attacking them.
It took some doing but the team was able to defeat the Shadowkhan.
"Well, that wasn't so tough." Rainbow said.
"True but we've got a problem. The Shadowkhan ambush destroyed the locator spell to find the noble rabbit." Camille sighed.
"How are we supposed to find the noble rabbit without a locator spell?" Matt asked.
"I can whip up a new one and we can resume the hunt." Camille said.
"Good plan. In the meantime, Jade, go to the library with Fluttershy and finish your homework." Jackie ordered.
"Aww."
Later on Jade and Fluttershy were walking to the library, but as they did they passed the local high school and saw a football team practicing. A football hit the fence and a kid in a football outfit came running towards it.
"I got it."
Jade picked up the football and dodged it before tossing it back to the other players which didn't go unnoticed by the coach.
"Good arm, kid." said the Coach.
"Thanks." said Jade as the kid got up.
"Thanks for making me look bad." the kid spoke to Jade bitterly as the Coach spoke.
"Hey, Chip." said the Coach.
"You need me, coach." said the kid now known as Chip.
"Yeah we need you to get this equipment inside and then I need you to go and feed Lucky." the Coach spoke as he and the other players left.
"Whose Lucky?" Jade asked Chip, as he was picking up the equipment.
"Our school mascot," Chip explained, while picking up the equipment, "He's our good luck charm. We've never lost every game he's been at. Other teams try to steal him in an attempt to jinx us."
"Lucky wouldn't happen to be a rabbit would he?" Jade asked.
"Technically he's a Jackelope." Chip replied.
Later on after Jade and Chip talked about how their respective coaches didn't let them make the big plays before the former gave the latter a pep talk Jade and Fluttershy saw Lucky's habitat with the Rabbit inside.
The Rabbit in question was gray and white, had green eyes, and wore a red jackalope jersey.
"Think a Rabbit can wear silly antlers and still be Liu Rin's descendant?" Jade asked Fluttershy.
"There's only one way to find out," Fluttershy said as Chip left, "I'll go talk to him."
Fluttershy went to go speak to Lucky the rabbit. They had an interesting conversation that eventually lead to the talk about some of their ancestors as well as a light that came towards Lucky in the form of a rabbit.
"Well, did you find anything?" Jade asked Fluttershy.
"I did," said Fluttershy, "Turns out a Rabbit Shaped Light streaked towards Lucky. I think he may be the Rabbit we're looking for."
Jade said nothing else and dialed up Camille.
"Camille speaking." Camille spoke via phone.
"Fluttershy and I found the rabbit." Jade spoke as she explained everything.
"Stay there and don't move. We're on our way," Camille spoke ending the call before speaking to the others, "Jade found the rabbit."
"What how does she do that?" Jackie asked, "I told her to go to the library."
"Jade has a good nose for sniffing out magic but we must hurry," Camille said, "Since Daolon traveled the Astral Plane it's only a matter of time before he figures out where the noble rabbit is."
"And who else might be after it." Uncle added agreeing with Camille's statement, as the group raced to Jade's current location unaware that one of Crime Inc's spies in the town had heard everything and dialed up the boss to tell them what was going on.
A few minutes later the group was at the Library where Lucky's habitat was and Uncle pointed the carrot at Lucky which confirmed Fluttershy and Jade's statements.
"Here is the noble rabbit we seek." Uncle confirmed.
"Now all we have to do is figure out how to get it out of here without the director having our heads or causing a scene." Chloe said.
"We could just talk to his owners and tell them that their pet is in danger from a dangerous criminal organization." Camille suggested.
"They'd still question about why they would want a rabbit." Jackie noted.
"We could just tell them the truth." Fluttershy suggested. They looked at Fluttershy as if she were insane.
"Well, we might want to do something fast. Somebody's coming." Carol warned them.
Right on cue it was the Coach of the Football team that Jade had met earlier, "Okay what's going on? Who are you people?"
They nudged Jackie forward to do the talking, "Hello. I'm Jackie Chan and I'm an archaeologist."
"Okay so why are you here?"
"We're here in regards to your rabbit." Jackie explained.
"Lucky. What do you want with him?"
"We have to take possession of him to keep him safe from an evil criminal group."
"Criminals, after the team mascot? That's ridiculous."
Right on cue the doors were blasted open as a swarm of X-Borgs appeared and from them emerged Emperor Mavro and Daolon Wong.
"Like the Crime Inc Member in this town said, Daolon, the Noble Rabbit is here." Mavro said.
"Excellent."
The Coach looked to Jackie before asking, "Who are these people?"
"The criminals I talked about."
"Surrender the Power of Super Speed to the forces of Darkness or we'll take it by force." The dark wizard ordered.
"You and what army?" Rainbow challenged him.
"Rainbow Dash don't say that." Matt warned her.
Daolon Wong summoned the Dark Chi Warriors, "Get them and bring the Noble Rabbit to me!"
The Dark Chi Warriors jumped into action as the X-Borgs attacked.
"Jade. Take the Rabbit and Run." Jackie ordered.
"Sure thing." Jade took the rabbit as the Dark Chi empowered Sound Five Ninjas were attacking Jackie.
"Bad Day. Bad Day. Bad Day!"
Mavro meanwhile was going head to head with Uncle, "Give it up, old man. I've pounded thousands of Planets and hundreds of civilizations into the dust and you'll be added to the defeated and forgotten."
"Tough talk coming from one who's never faced earth folk before." Uncle retorted.
"Did I ever tell you that Mavro got his butt kicked by the Megaforce Rangers in his own dimension." Camille said smugly.
Mavro growled as he continued to attack Uncle while Camille and Carol were doing battle with Daolon Wong.
"Step aside little girls or face the power of darkness." Daolon Wong ordered.
"Little girls? Old man, you are far from it." Camille replied.
Daolon frowned, "Then suffer extinction!" Daolon blasted Carol and Camille who dodged and counter attacked but he activated the powers of the Rooster and the Pig to fight back.
"Daolon was tough enough with only one talisman power, but now that he's got three he's even more powerful." Carol noted.
"True but we're fighting for the forces of light and goodness." Camille said.
The two continued to fight as Jade managed to get out.
Jade then headed for the Skyship as that would be a safe place to hide out with the Noble Rabbit, "Lucky, I need you to help me out and activate your power."
The rabbit looked up at her. Lucky then activated his power causing Jade to move at super speed. She then used the power to help the heroes defeat their enemies before bolting for the Skyship and activating the teleportation program to teleport the good guys to safety.
"Once again another Noble Animal is safe from the forces of Darkness." Camille said.
Daolon Wong was frustrated, until Mavro calmed him, "Calm down, Daolon Wong. There are two more animals left and we've got a little ace up our sleeves."
"Is it enough?"
"Daolon Wong, of course it is. I never told you this but I have a plan but for now let's return to the Gigant Horse and build a game plan." Daolon Agreed to that as they teleported to the Gigant Horse.
Meanwhile back at Section 13 the Skyship landed safely and got there in record time thanks to Lucky helping to speed up the ship.
Once inside the vault the noble animals were already cuddling up to Camille the minute she showed up as Jade made the introductions.
"Say hello to the fastest member of the Zodiac Gang everyone. Lucky the Rabbit." jade introduced the rabbit to the rest of the noble animals.
The animals were all interested to meet Lucky as Captain Black was watching with interest, "Looks like Jade and Camille are becoming their best friends pretty quickly."
"Pretty much." Astral nodded.
"It's like Section 13's becoming more of a petting zoo." Chloe noticed.
"With Camille and Jade as the zookeepers." Matt added.
Carol spoke up, "However, we still need to find the remaining 2 animals and Daolon Wong and Emperor Mavro aren't gonna make things easier."
"Fortunately, we signed some paperwork with the Coach that will allow us to borrow Lucky until it is safe enough to return him." Camille said.
"But once we transfer the powers we can keep him right?" Jade asked.
"The Animals have owners or habitats. We might want to return them." Jackie replied.
"But they're my pets and Carol and Camille's as well." Jade pleaded.
Camille spoke, "I understand that Jade which is why we got the paperwork sorted out that will allow us joint custody of the animals that already have owners while adopting the ones that don't already have owners such as Nick the Rat and Sampa the Snake. Even though I'm still scared of Sampa slightly."
"Understandable, but you're getting over it." Astral said.
The others nodded as they all turned in aware of the next noble animal that would have to be found.
