West Arch Day Camp
Thursday, July 19
9:05am
Christina bolted out of the car before Harold had even skidded to a complete stop. She could feel her body being launched forward like a rocket ship and could hear the repeated honking of the cars behind her.
"CAN YOU KEEP THE NOISE LEVEL DOWN TO A MINIMUM?! GAWD!" Christina shouted as she flipped the drivers off. She knew she was being irrational but she needed to get this done. It was already two days that had gone by since planning day and if her revenge on Mavis wasn't done today it might not ever go down.
It was a good thing she had printed everything she needed the night before that way she wouldn't have to use the camp's crappy printer. You would think that after asking people to pay $3,500 for their kid to attend this place they would have enough money to afford a decent printer.
"CHRISTINA BRIANNA FISHER GET BACK HERE THIS INSTANT!" her butler called to her his voice a mix of desperation and anger.
"Have a good day Harold I'll see you later!" Christina shouted as she picked up the pace and reached the front gate where she pressed the buzzer and was immediately let in.
"Good Morning Miss Fisher, is everything all right?" Rochelle, the woman at the front desk asked in a friendly yet concerned tone.
"Never better Ro," Christina purred a bit cheekily and flashing one of her smiles that she often used when she wanted to get out of something.
At this point she felt as though her feet were disconnected from her body that's how fast they were moving. Her eyes were zoomed in and sharply focused on one thing in particular…the counselor's mailboxes.
Adrenaline pulsed through her veins she had forgotten what the feeling of revenge was like. She could already taste the feeling of victory in her mouth. She thought about calling the girls up for some fro-yo to celebrate.
Until she realized one cold hard fact, that all of her friends were practically out of town except for her…literally. Natalie was off in LA bonding with her grandma, Kat was glamming it up in Puerrto Riico that she pronounced with her overly exaggerated Spanish accent. Tori was in Disney World and even Ellie was in London.
So What? Christina thought she was getting her status back after all so why should she care right now. Her ego had spiked from zero to infinity ever since she had recruited the girls from her group in the plot against Mavis.
Oh how she couldn't wait to see the look on her counselor's stupid face when everything went down. Maybe then the woman would get a clue about what happened to you when you messed with Christina Fisher.
As she stepped into HQ she was greeted with a blast of AC which somewhat cooled her heart even more. She took a deep breath. It was as though she was inhaling confidence and exhaling any potential doubts she was having. She shoved the paper in Mavis' mailbox and skipped out with satisfaction.
…
"Alright girls I have some fantabulous news for you!" Mavis said as she skipped over to the group.
"That word is soooo 20 years ago," Christina stated as she popped a bubble with her gum.
"Well missy I hate to crush your…actually no I don't but there's no gum in camp!" Mavis snapped.
"What's the good news Mavis?" Jordi asked glaring at Christina who just raised her eyebrows and smirked.
"Well our schedule's been changed so we now have basketball and after that we have swim!" Mavis clapped her hands and rejoiced in a circle with Violet while the girls of G8-1 stood there looking at her as though she was a dog dancing on its hind legs.
"Well come on girls GET MOVING LETS GO, GO, GO!" Mavis barked at them though it was in an excited tone as opposed to a vicious barking tone that one would expect.
The girls all marched in unison as if they were in a retreat of some sort with Mavis leading them as their general. Each shared a quick glance with each other for they all knew what was to happen…sweet revenge.
"HEY IT'S THE GIIIIIRLS" the boys of B3-2 screeched much like how younger boys do.
Their head counselor, Toby dropped the basketball he was holding and turned his head, his wet sweaty hair bobbing along with it. He pulled up his shirt and wiped his face causing the girls to stare blankly at his toned four pack.
Christina somehow wished that the guys at her school would look remotely close to that but ahbviously they were all losers so that wasn't even possible. Especially that jerk ass of a boy who called himself Ian Hotz.
She swallowed the memory down the lump that lurched in her throat. The feeling of being cheated on was one of the worst she had ever felt. It was as if she wasn't good enough for him. Whatevs she was so over that.
Turning her head she was Mavis was practically shivering and jumping up and down so she tapped Stacy (who was closest to her) on the shoulder. Her SBFF choked back a laugh which sounded like a choking pig.
"Can I help you ladies?" Toby asked with a touch of genuine concern in his eyes. Christina saw he wasn't one of those guys who thought he was the shit because girls were head over heels for him.
"In what way would you wanna help me?" Mavis asked giving him a wink and swishing her tongue around outside her mouth.
"Are you trying to catch a snowflake because there's no snow," a little boy asked.
Mavis' smile or whatever the hell was plastered on her face quickly turned into a frown. The laser rays were practically gleaming from her eyes. If it was possible she would've drilled right through the little boy's head.
"Lewis, what did I tell you about being rude?" Toby asked his camper though it was obvious he was amused by the way he was smirking.
"It's alright he's just a little boy. My girls even have slip ups to do you believe that?" Mavis asked faking a laugh and turning to her left to pinch one of the girls' cheeks and her unfortunate victim happened to be Anna (one of Christina's other SBFFS).
Toby looked at Mavis obviously crept out, "ugh right. Hey haven't I seen you before?"
"YEAH! I'm Mavis we hang out at the pool like all the time!"
Christina looked from the admirer to the admiree. He couldn't possibly be buying the B.S. that was spouting from her mouth. Every time the woman opened her mouth it was like green goo oozing out of some Science experiment. Did the lady really not get a clue come awn it was AHbvious x 10 that he wasn't into her at all.
Toby looked at his watch and turned to his staff giving them a look of desperation pleading in his eyes. You could practically feel the frustration radiating off of him. "We're gonna get going but uh nice to see you."
"OK love!" Mavis shouted in a horrible attempt to do a stereotypical English accent.
"Um that was offensive," Christina said.
"Excuhuse you? What? That I have a love life which is something you'll never have because you're too ugly?" Mavis asked.
Christina quirked her eyebrow and opened her mouth slightly while placing her tongue on the side of her mouth. "Actually May-BUS you don't know a thing about me or my love life but you seem content to run around chasing a boy who doesn't even like you and mocking the British population," Christina said.
"Shut up!" Violet exclaimed it was probably the first time she spoke to the girls all day.
Just then Cali walked over to Christina and whispered something in her ear and placed a piece of paper in her hand. It was all a part of the group's plan of course neither Mavis nor Violet had any clue of this.
"WHAT IS THAT?!" Mavis demanded so coldly her voice could've been an inhabitant of Antarctica.
"NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Christina snapped back narrowing her eyes as if daring her counselor to say more.
Mavis took the bait and snatched the paper out of Christina's hands. Her face suddenly lit up like a freaking Christmas tree and Christina again had to stop herself from going out of character and crack up like a hyena.
The counselor checked her watch and snickered to herself before checking the schedule, looking up and announcing, "GIRLS! POOL! ASAP!"
"Gawd desperate much?" Christina asked.
Mavis and Violet glared at her but said nothing. The three stood there in somewhat of a standoff their eyes locked none of them wanting to give up. When one backed down it was as if they were giving in and were losing a battle of some sort.
Eventually Mavis clicked her heels, snapped her fingers and turned away signaling the group to follow her to the pool.
Christina focused on each step trying not to jump out of her skin with excitement. Every five seconds she would check her Ice white purple watch. Her nails dug into her palms as they formed fists.
The group finally reached the locker room and all the girls immediately dashed to put on their bathing suits and with the speed of baby cheetahs ran up to the pool deck and obediently sat on their bench.
Mavis hurried up to the pool deck with Violet in toe. Violet was trying to fix her hair however, thick with grease it still looked limp and stringy. The girls watched as Mavis hurried behind the pool shack and snickered to themselves.
"I remember my first kiss was over there," Violet sighed.
"You? With who a goldfish?" Christina asked.
Violet made a mocking face and regarded Christina as though she were a pesky little sister.
The boys of B3-2 came up to the pool deck running and screaming and shoving one another into the pool. The loud shrill of the lifeguard's whistle could clearly be heard and Christina saw Mavis peel out from behind the shack and Violet giving her a thumbs up.
Toby emerged from the shadows walking alongside an Asian girl with silky black hair and chilling brown eyes. He had a smile on his face and nudged the girl with his elbow while she just laughed again.
Christina, along with the rest of the girls of G8-1 bit their lips and fought the urge to laugh as they saw a fuming Mavis still peeking out from the shack.
After observing Toby with his mystery girl for about twenty seconds Mavis stormed out from the shack knocking over some pool equipment which sent sand sprinkling everywhere and some got onto Mavis' hair making her dandruff problem even more apparent.
"EXCUHUSE ME!" she shrieked causing the whole pool deck to jump and cringe. Everyone knew who she was and they knew that she wasn't a particularly easy character to deal with.
She marched right up to where Toby and the girl stood practically oblivious to her little meltdown. The girl tapped him on the shoulder and he spun around only to be inches from Mavis' face. What happened next no one saw coming.
"What are you doing you slut!" Mavis shouted at the girl.
"Excuse me?" The girl practically squeaked.
"He's MINE SLUT!" Mavis roared and with that she grabbed Toby's face and jammed her lips to his.
Toby's eyes went wide and he looked like he was being suffocated by some sort of bear. Mavis proceeded to groan and Toby pushed her back…right into the pool.
Mavis' raw scream filled the air while everyone stood horrified. She sounded like a dying duck of some sort. Violet ran over followed by the rest of the group however she was the only one that pulled Mavis out before handing her a towel.
"Well at least you got the grease out of your hair," Christina stated matter of factly.
Mavis glared at her before turning back to Toby, "I get it that you were nervous to go after a hot thang like me but running off with some slut doesn't change our love!"
"What are you talking about?" Toby asked.
"You delivered a note to one of my campers saying that you wanted some of this," Mavis wagged her tongue out of her mouth as if she were a wannabe Miley Cyrus.
Toby stared at her horrified, "What note? I sort of have a girlfriend, lady."
Looking from Toby to a smirking Christina it wasn't too hard to guess what had happened.
Mavis grabbed Christina by the ear, "SO IT WAS YOU!" she screeched loud enough to wake up every citizen of China.
Christina could only continue to smirk quite obnoxiously. She bit her lip and tried to focus on pressing her teeth down so hard but not until the point where her gums bled. It was all she could do to keep from laughing.
"WAIT TILL GERRY HEARS ABOUT THIS!" Mavis tugged her even harder and Christina noticed her face was about as red as a tomato.
She didn't care if she was in trouble. All she cared about was that her mission was completed and the results had been more than successful.
AGAIN I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE SOME FEEDBACK so…REVIEW MAYBE? XX (note: next chapter will be the last)
