When Dreams Turn Into A Reality- Chapter 10
"I'm scared"
Bonnie shook a little, scared of what she would see, what she would hear. She had battled unimaginable, characters only seen in fairy tales. But nothing ever prepared a person for seeing their unborn child or children for the first time and this made her scared, petrified even.
Damon and her were at the hospital, waiting to been seen.
"Everything will be alright" Damon said kissing Bonnie's forehead, he was scared shitless too but hid it better, not wanting to make Bonnie more nervous.
"Bonnie Bennett-Salvatore" the nurse called out causing Bonnie's head to turn, she then looked nervously at Damon, scared to stand up, now that the time had come. The time she had been dreading.
"The doctor will see you now"
Damon gently placed his hands in Bonnie, giving her a reassuring smile as he helped her up. Hand in hand they walked towards, the doctor office. Just as Damon opened the door, for them to enter, Bonnie turned to look at Damon.
"I love you" Bonnie said with pure adoration, their three spoken words.
"I love you too" Damon said kissing Bonnie forehead. As they stepped inside the doctor's office.

"I think this is the first time in my undead life, that I've been speechless" Damon said looking at the Bonnie as they left the doctor's office.
"I think I like you speechless Damon" Bonnie said giggling.
"But honestly, how do you feel Damon?"
I feel like...like I couldn't be anymore happier... I never knew I would never be a father, it was never something I wanted, even when I was human and had the chance. I didn't see it as a possibility for me and I didn't have the best role model to make me want to be a father...But now, I have the chance, I'm going to embrace it"
"I know you're going to be an amazing father"
"And you're going to be an amazing mother to our baby"
"We're having two baby" Bonnie said moments later as she happily placing her hand on her tiny bump.
"We're having two baby" Damon repeated ecstatically placing his hand over hers.
Once they had left the hospital and the doctor had given them their scan, Damon dropped off Bonnie at Caroline's house.
"Omg Bonnie, I can't wait to spoil my Godchildren, well Goddaughters" Caroline said looking at Bonnie's ultrasound picture, she was truly happy for Bonnie as she knew she would never get to experience what Bonnie was going through ever, Bonnie's happiness was her happiness.
"That's if they are both girls" Bonnie winked as Caroline stuck her tongue out.
"We just have to go shopping" Caroline continued getting over excited. Bonnie wished Elena was there to help her control Caroline but she was only coming back in a week's time and Bonnie didn't know if she would survive that long. This thought caused her to giggle out loud, Caroline gave her look questioning her.
"Care..." Bonnie said side eyeing her playfully.
"Pleaseeee Bonnie bear"
"Pleaseeee" Bonnie looked over at Caroline as she gave her the biggest puppy dog eyes ever.
"Care... that never works when Damon does it, so what makes you think it is going to work for you" Bonnie said standing her ground but Bonnie being Bonnie didn't take long to give in.
"Fine we can go...but only when Elena comes back. But, I will help you with your wedding stuff invitations until then" Bonnie said giving in she understood wholeheartedly why Caroline was so excited and she loved her for that. she never thought this would either. But even the deepest dreams sometimes had a way of turning into a reality.
"Yaay... You won't regret this Bon" Caroline said excitedly.
"I already do" Bonnie said muttering to herself which of course Caroline being a vampire heard causing her to stick her tongue out at Bonnie.

Long hours of writing Caroline's hand made invitations, had finally taken a toll on Bonnie, She was tired, her hands were hurting from the immense pain she suffered and now there was throbbing in her now swollen fingers. Bonnie was thankful Tyler had decided to pop over to see his finance and had been roped in to help with the personalized invitations as Caroline had seen Bonnie had reached her limit for the day . Bonnie was staying her goodbyes before Damon took her home.
"I will see you later Bon"
"Love you" Caroline exclaimed hugging Bonnie tightly, then releasing her.
"Bye guys and have fun Ty" Bonnie said waving, receiving a smile from Tyler as she walked out the front door to where Damon waited for her, he was leaning against his car.
As Bonnie walked towards Damon's Camaro, Damon flashed to the other side quickly helping her.
"Thank you" Bonnie said as she strapped herself in to her seat and Damon got into the driver's side.
"I want to show you something" Damon said moments later, looking at Bonnie briefly then turning his attention back to the road. "Something that means a lot to me, something I've never shown anyone... not even Stefan"
Bonnie smiled sweetly at Damon "Anything you want to share with me I would love to see"
"We're here " Damon said minutes later turning off the car engine as Bonnie took in her surroundings.
"This use to be my mother's garden... her secret garden" Damon started to explain
"When she died, I stopped coming to see her garden and with nobody to love and cherish it all the roses died. But when I turned, I realised I had forever and this was one of the only things me and my mother shared... before Stef was born. I was back I would plant roses in memory of my mother, to keep the memory of her garden and her alive"
"I want us to share...I want it to be your place to come to as well. Your sanctuary" Damon said taking Bonnie's hands.
"It's beautiful"
"I love you" Bonnie said as tears glistened in her eyes and she spoke their three words, the only three words that needed to be spoken in that moment.
"I love you too" Damon replied wiping her eyes tenderly, as they watched the sunset surrounding the garden together.
Bonnie was fulling Damon with her love piece by piece, healing the cracks from the past , just as he did for her. She loved him with as much love as her heart could take, his love wrapped her up and kept her safe, filled her up and consumed her... his love over powered her, make her stronger, his love was all she needed and her love was all he wanted and needed too.
