Hey guys, I'm back from my temporary trip around the different fandoms to present you a new chapter of Back to the Beginning. Oh yeah, I wish all my American friends a very (slightly late though) Happy Thanksgiving. I do not own Wizards of Waverly Place or any of its characters.

Return of the Genie

Alex's POV

After the whole potion scenario, there were quite a few things that had happened. The thing was that nothing out of the ordinary really happened, well compared to how the timeline matched up with Justin's.

First off, there was the time I casted a spell on Harper so that she could be a better waitress at the sub shop. Justin did tell me the biggest change was that Harper and I made up while covered in ice cream instead of frozen yogurt(real big change there).

Next, Justin and Max actually had the more exciting scenario. Harper and I just basically managed to embarrass Gigi at her own hi-tea. Justin and Max got sabotaged by TJ, leaving them at the mercy of the agents of the wizard council before Justin told the agents TJ had publicly used magic and the tables were turned.

Okay, now on to the most recent scenario. I was having a really bad day as Mr Laritate quizzed me on some out of textbook stuff and just compared me to Justin.

"Okay, let me guess who got in trouble today. Am I right?" Mom said as she just looked at me without much hesitation. Justin then looked at me with a apologetic look on his face as we entered the lair.

"Kids, today we are going to learn about Genies and how do they work." Dad told us as he pointed to the Genie lamp that I spotted on the coffee table.

"Wait, don't Genies just grant your wish and be done with it?" I pointed out something that seemed obvious.

Justin then explained to me that Genies usually take wishes and twist it into some weird way. Dad also added that Genies grant wishes as every additional wish they grant increases their own magical abilities.

"Hmm, so does that make Alex a Genie? Since she does twist what we want into something completely different." Max said and laughed while Dad just scolded him and I gave him a stern glare.

Dad then asked Justin to flash us into the Genie lamp. From what Justin had told me about the previous time this had happened, I was trying to be extra careful around the Genie.

The Genie tried to trick me into flashing her out of there so we could check out this coffee place down Main Street. Justin had squeezed my hand to remind me what should I do and I stayed strong and refused her offer.

"Okay Justin, we should flash out now. I do think that we should go checkout that pizza place on 23rd street." Dad said as Justin started the spell to flash us out.

"Alex, I am so proud of you that you didn't fall for the Genie's tricks this time. I really think that things will go smoother this time." Justin said as he pulled me into a hug after Dad and Max left the lair to do their own stuff.

"Oh man, why did you just have to say that? Now that you jinxed it, we are probably get dragged into some magical mishap." I playfully said to Justin before I kissed him on the lips and left the lair to go to my room.

I didn't really witness this myself but thanks to Justin's survailance spell I knew that Brad had sneaked into our house at night and used the Genie lamp to wish that Justin and I would be hurt. Why didn't we lock the door and why we left the Genie lamp on the kitchen table, I have no idea.

The thing that happened next was really weird. I woke up and went to school as usual. I went to go talk to my friends and they had no idea who I am. I walked to class and the teachers had no clue about my infamous reputation.

"Harper, things have been really weird today. Nobody remembers who I am, you remember me right?" Alex asked Harper hopefully.

"I'm sorry but I have no idea who are you but I do wish you good luck, new kid." Harper replied Alex which left Alex on the brink of tears.

Justin then went to his sister and tried to comfort her so he just held her as she was crying and told her that it was okay. Mr Laritate almost wanted to tell them off but seeing as they were siblings, he let it go and turned a blind eye.

Justin then brought her to the sub shop, where he got his parents to give her a temporary place to stay. The funny thing is that Jerry told his son that Alex was a really pretty girl and she seems like she could be a good girlfriend, to which Justin just laughed it off.

"So Justin, how did you fix this issue back in your timeline? I don't think I can live with none of my friends and family remembering me." Alex asked Justin.

"Basically we poured orange soda in the genie lamp and the genie just showed up and was pissed off but she granted Max a wish, which he used to find the reset button." Justin told his sister and she just listened intently.

This time, Justin poured the orange soda into the genie lamp and shook it so that there will be loads of bubbles. Sure enough, the genie had showed up.

The genie came and she granted Justin a wish, before he made the wish he did ask the genie who released her and she eventually said that it was Brad Sherwood, surprise surprise.

"Man, it does feel good to be back. Justin, there's now Brad and possibly TJ against us. How are we going to take the both of them down?" I asked Justin as we both sat down on the chairs in the lair.

"Well Alex, it is you and I so how can't we not? Justin said to me before he kissed me. What a cheesy way to calm me down but it did the trick.

So, there you go. In one fell swoop, the first 12 episodes are now complete. I think that I would be doing this from time to time now, skipping episodes and giving a very brief summary. Until next time guys.
