Running Doesn't Make You Weak Epilogue

Epilogue (3 years later)

Alex lay sprawled out on her back on Bill's bed. She watched as he walked around the room looking for something.

"What are you doing?" she asked watching him.

"Looking for something…" he said.

"Well obviously." She said rolling her eyes.

"I always loose things when I unpack!" he complained. She laughed and slid off the bed. She wrapped her arms around his waist and spun him to face her.

"So take a break," she said running a hand down his chest.

She felt part of the time like a child in a divorce being bounced back and forth between two people at a regular basis. Yet it was unlike that because it wasn't all her, she wasn't actually living with Shin, Andromeda was. She was surprised of course by the way things had turned out. Guys were very well known for being selfish. She finally realized that it was because both men had realized that there really was two different people in her, not one.

But now she was just Alex, she was just Bill's girlfriend that was all. She drew him to the bed. She grinned. Now it was just him and her, raw primal, she didn't have to think about any one else. She felt for once like a normal human. Even that thought disappeared as he kissed her.

Andromeda looked out the Taxi cab window at the wet city streets around her. Just yesterday she had been awoken by Alex, it was her turn to live for the next few weeks. It was insane how two rock stars schedules could be rearranged to fit with one girl going in between, well two if you look at it right. Andromeda herself was just happy to be getting back to Shin. It wasn't like she could see or feel what Alex and Bill were doing it was very much like being asleep but it was very nice to be awake and lost in the sunshine that was Shin. It was with those thoughts that she bounded out of the cab and very nearly forgot her luggage when she reached Shin's place. She leapt on him and he hugged her tight to him while grabbing her luggage what very little there was. Most of the stuff she had was hers and the stuff Alex had was Alex's some things they didn't want to cross lives or it could get awkward. But she wasn't thinking about that all she was thinking about was the warmth of Shins embrace. His ocean colored eyes and soft smile that was quiet and strong but also secretive. Shin was safe. He was there he made her feel loved without pushing her for more, ever, she wasn't sure she could find that any where else. She kept her hand intertwined with Shin's until they got to the 58th floor and Shin's place. Once they were in their own place he pulled her into his arms. Neither of them was a public scene affair type of person. This quiet embrace was perfect. Shin looked down on the porcelain face that reminded him a doll and pushed away the light curtain of curls from the edge of her face so he could trail her jaw line with his fingers, how could something so perfect ever be his? He didn't know and while she was here he didn't care why as long as she was his.
