"Alright you know why you're here we..." Captain Hirako trails off when he sees captain of squad nine Kensei Muguruma heading towards him with a few of his squad members following behind. "Why are you here?" Shinji questions Kensei.
"I have invited myself and some of my squad members to come along and assist in this mission."
"Why? the mission's ours, no one asked you to come." Shinji says annoyed.
"I know. That's why I said I invited myself, besides we know anything under your direction is likely to be disastrous."
"Shut up I'm a captain for a reas..." That's when it happened. Shinji stops, quickly turning his attention toward the forest. Where the strong release of reiatsu was coming from. It shocked him that even from such a distance he could clearly see and feel the release of spiritual pressure.
"What the hell..."
"Do you see that?" Asks Captain Muguruma.
"I see it... feel it, it's someone's spiritual pressure." Says Shinji.
"Let's go men!" Kensei instructs his squad members as he takes off towards the forest. "Yes captain"
"Everyone spread out and surround the perimeter whatever it is we'll trap it in, don't let it get away!" Shinji instructs his own squad members and immediately makes his way towards where the strong spiritual pressure is being felt.
"Yes captain." They yell out following behind him.
"Master please we have to go, I sense someone coming." Kazava says reaching for Rin.
"No!" Rin yells out smacking his hand away.
"Yu lie to me! Yu sai yu can healp Suuhei, yu didn't healp him! Yu ah bad Kazava! So bad! Go away!" And goes back to shaking Shuhei's unconscious body.
"Peez Suuhei yu can't sleep no mo, peez get up! Suuhei peez!"
"Master please do not say that to me. This child does not matter anymore, you have me now. We have each other, let's be on our way."
Rin lets out a frustrated grunt and turns to face Kazava her blue eyes full of tears, anger and sadness. "I don't like yu! Yu ah not my fiend! Suuhei is my fiend, my bestest fiend and yu hut him! Now go away! I neva wanna see yu eva!"
"Master you can not mean that." (This is not how this is supposed to be. No. I should matter to you now, you know my name. You know who I am...) "Master do you know what I am?"
"Stop callin me dat! I not yu masta! I'm Rin!" She says glaring up at him. Kazava's eyes widen by her statement. "You are my master" he says in a panic "and I am your Zan"
"Her Zanpakuto." Shinji finishes. Kazava looks up and sees that they are now surrounded by Shinigami. "What the hell is going on here?" Shinji continues "There is no way you can be this kid's zan" Kazava narrows his eyes at the squad five captain and without warning launches himself at Shinji. A double sided sword appearing in his gloved hand. Before Shinji can react Kazava goes for a head on attack. Sosuke on the other hand had his full attention on Kazava and quickly flash steps in front of his captain blocking Kazava's attack with his own sword. Their blades colliding violently with each other. Kazava jumps back preparing himself for another attack, this time with his focus on Sosuke.
"Restrain him" captain Muguruma yells out before Kazava can attack again.
"Bakudo #4 Hainawa" he hears someone say behind him, before he can turn around he feels a tight restraint on his upper body. He stumbles forward a few steps but swiftly takes his focus to the blonde Shinigami who still holds his arms out. (Him) he thinks. He narrows his now glowing angry blue eyes at the scared looking Shinigami. With an increase of his reiatsu everyone watches as Kazava easily breaks free from the glowing yellow rope. With a rotation to his sword he launches himself for the Shinigami.
"Kazava stop!" He hears Rin cry out.
"Bakudo 63 Sajo Sabaku" he hears immediately after and lands harshly on the ground next to Rin. This time he found it impossible to move from the new restraint.
"Wha ah yu doin Kazava? Yu ah bein bad again, stop it!" Rin yells as tears run freely down her face.
"Master, please do not cry. Forgive me, I am just trying to protect you." Kazava explains attempting to get on his feet.
"Yu ah not potecting me! Yu ah bein bad!"
"Get him up and someone get the kid, we are taking them back with us." Shinji instructs.
(Take us back where? I will not go anywhere with these people. I tried to attack their own, they will probably lock me away somewhere, then I won't be able to protect my master. I will not allow that to happen. They won't hurt her will they? No. They can't, she is just a child.) Just then Kazava feels a pair of hands on his arms and he feels himself being lifted up from the ground. He quickly looks over to Rin. (Forgive me master, but I have to do this. I will come back for you, I promise.) Kazava abruptly drops to his knees causing the men holding him to lose their grip on him. Instantly they try and regain their hold on him but he surprises everyone when they see his transformation from man to crow. Leaving his restraints behind everyone watches in surprise as he swiftly moves through the air and disappears in the trees.
"He's a bird!? Are you kidding me!?" Shinji yells out, breaking the silence. He looks down at Rin who has her head laid on Shuhei's chest.
"What the hell kid!? Mind telling us what's going on here?" Rin doesn't answer. She just continues crying on Shuhei's chest.
"Hey kid I'm talking to you, don't ignore me."
"Sir please mind how you speak to her. She is just a child and is clearly frightened right now." Sosuke says, stepping in front of Shinji.
"Well I need answers and she seems to be the only one who can give them to me."
"Then allow me to talk to her. You are not likely to get anything from her if you yell."
"It's true Shinji, don't be such a dumdass" Kensei says from behind.
Shinji quickly turns glaring at Kensei. "Shut up" he then looks down at Rin's small, quivering form. His expression softening for a moment before rolling his eyes. "Fine, get her to talk."
Sosuke turns around and kneels next to Rin. Studying her for a moment. (I can still feel her reiatsu, barely. But there is so much more to you isn't there?) "What is the matter with your friend?" He already could guess what had happened but he needed something that would get her to open up and just as he had anticipated she raises her head from Shuhei's chest to look at him over her shoulder. Her blue eyes puffy and red from crying.
"He won't wake up again... Kazava did someting."
"Kazava is the man that was here?" She nods.
"Who is Kazava? Is he your friend too?"
"No. Kazava is bad" she states flatly and lays her head back on Shuhei.
"Get somewhere with this Sosuke, we need to head back." Shinji instructs. Sosuke nods.
"Your friend needs help."
"I kno, Kazava say he can healp him but he lie." Her voice sad and hopeless.
"We can help him." His statement causes her to fully turn towards him.
"Welly?" He saw hope returning in her sad eyes. He kindly smiles at her. "Yes really, but not here. You and your friend need to come with us."
"Whea?"
"The Seireitei"
"Dha sewitei?"
"Yes, their are many who can help him there."
"Ah yu lying?" She questions.
"Of course not, I would never." He quickly answers back. Now it's Rin who studies Sosuke, her blue eyes looking directly into his brown ones while he kindly looks down at her.
"I'm Sosuke, Sosuke Aizen" he says after a few moments. Rin continues to stare at him before repeating his name slowly.
"Sos k Aisen" he again smiles down at her. "Yes, good and what is your name?"
"Rin"
"Rin, what a lovely name. It's a pleasure to meet you Rin." He says with a polite bow. Rin just nods. "Will you come with us then? So your friend can receive the help he needs."
"Okay" she says without hesitation.
"Good. Someone get the boy and be very careful with him please." Sosuke instructs.
"His name is Suuhei" she informs him.
"Thank you. Someone get... Suuhei, please." Rin then watches intently as Shuhei gets picked up by dark haired man.
"May I" Sosuke ask extending his hands out. She nods and steps closer to Sosuke and he easily picks her up. Sosuke turns to Shinji and nods indicating that they are ready to head back. Shinji rolls his eyes and starts heading toward the Seireitei.
"How the hell are we going to explain all of this to the old man..." Shinji mumbles.
