Recap: "Aren't you glad, Amy-san? Sonic-san accepted your present!" Cream told her.
"Yes!" Amy answered with a smile.
After that incident, Amy was never going to forget the day Sonic accepted her present. Ever.
Ever since the day the group came back from the beach, Amy has been more loving towards Sonic. Not knowing why, Sonic would continue to run off while she attempts to hug him. At least Amy wasn't feeling down anymore when Rukia told her about the bracelet.
'Hopefully he'll accept her feelings in due time...' Rukia hoped in her mind while staring up at the moon.
With the window open from below, Rukia can smell the aroma of the food Ella is cooking. The food that she makes was wonderful and perfect in every way. The apple juice she serves was great too. Smelling some kind of meat, it just made Rukia want to eat quickly. Pushing the thought away before she started drooling, Rukia jumps down from the roof. Looking up at the moon one last time, she walks over to a door and went inside after opening it. Closing the door behind her, blue eyes scan the area. The only presence's she could sense nearby were Ella, Amy, Cream, Cheese, Mr. Tanaka, Sonic, and Chris. Tails had said he would be out for a while to fly his X-Tornado and Chuck would be in the garage working on something.
'I guess I can start reading before...' Rukia was interrupted by Ella's voice.
"Time to eat everyone!" Ella announced.
'...dinner starts...Never mind.' Rukia finished while sweat dropping.
After that thought, she quickly walks to the dinning room. When she entered the room, Rukia wasn't surprised to see Sonic already there. Rukia silently took her seat while waiting for the others to join them. Chris, Amy, Cream, and Cheese soon join them. Chuck came in last with Ella and Mr. Tanaka right behind him. No sign of Tails. Must be too focused on flying rather than the time. Ella put plates in front of everyone before teaching them about manners. When talking about manners, she means what utensils to use for different types of food. Apparently, it was one of the rules they had to follow in this world. While learning which utensil to use, Sonic was busy eating an apple rather than learning. Rukia rolled her eyes at him as she continues to listen.
"Okay, that's the last one. So which fork and knife do you use?" Ella asked them.
"Err, um...these?" Amy questioned while picking up a fork on the far left and a knife on the far right.
"These!" Cream told Ella while holding up the same utensils.
"Chao, chao!" Cheese said, holding up smaller but similar utensils.
Rukia just held up hers, looking at Ella to see if she was right. Ella nodded her head to the girls and Cheese. Amy and Cream were sitting together while Cheese sat on the table with Cream beside him. Chris was sitting across from Cream as Rukia was on his right and Sonic on his left. Chuck was sitting at the other end of the table.
"That's right! You're all so smart! What good kids you are!" Ella praised which earned her a couple of giggles from Cream and Amy.
"Why the hell do we have to memorize this stuff anyway?" Sonic asked with an irritated tone as he chews on an apple.
"You have to learn lots of rules to live in this world." Chris explained while giving Sonic a look.
"All the more reason to hurry up and find the Chaos Emeralds so we can go home..." Sonic said, as he takes another bite from the apple.
"Sonic-sama, you have terrible manners." Mr. Tanaka bluntly told him as he leaned in between Chris and Sonic.
A ghost smirk appeared on Rukia's face, but it disappeared quickly when Sonic looks over her way.
"More importantly, Tails is late today." Chuck commented as he chews on a piece of meat.
Suddenly, the group heard a rather familiar jet pack coming closer to the table and it turns out to be Bokkun. He had the same yellow small television in his hands and had a baseball hat on his head. A yellow "E" was imprinted on the front.
"I have a message from Eggman! Peel your ears and listen up!" Bokkun announced.
"What?! Eggman?!" Sonic exclaimed, as he stood up from his chair.
Everyone else seem to have follow his league since they all stood up. They didn't know what Bokkun was planning or Dr. Eggman was for that matter. They didn't want the television explode on them.
"Hey, you! How did you get in here?! You have horrible manners too!" Mr. Tanaka accused while pointing a finger at him.
"Who the hell cares about that?" Bokkun certainly didn't give a damn about what he did.
As soon as Bokkun said those words, the TV turned on. Dr. Eggman was on the screen and looked a little bit concern about something.
"Hey Sonic, look out the window." Eggman told him.
"What...?" Sonic asked in confusion before looking over at a random window.
The group walks over to a window and Sonic opens them up. From a far, the group can see a bright light shooting up into the sky. Everyone was surprised by this.
"That's...!" Chuck started off, but couldn't finish since he was too stunned at the moment.
"That's the light from the Chaos Emerald!" Cream exclaimed.
"What?!" Chris was shocked to hear this piece of information.
"But the strength of the light is too strong. It can't be just one emerald!" Sonic pointed out.
Dr. Eggman suddenly started laughing from behind them and they turn to look at him. Judging from his laughter, he had a plan.
"There are two Chaos Emeralds creating that light. And the place is...Diamond Baseball Stadium!" Dr. Eggman told them while changing into a baseball uniform.
"Stadium?" Mr. Tanaka questioned.
"Baseball?" Chuck questioned again, but he looked quite...excited.
'Why are those two pumped up for?' Rukia thought with a sweat drop.
"We will determine the ownership of the Emeralds based on a game of ball!" Dr. Eggman laughed evilly before the screen turned off.
"Now this robot will automatically start batting." Bokkun told them as he took out a baseball bat.
"Batting?" Sonic hesitantly asked, somewhat afraid of what Bokkun might do.
Bokkun had a baseball in his hand and he gently throws it up. When he hit the ball with the bat, multiple of baseballs started coming their way. Sonic, Chris, Chuck, Mr. Tanaka, and Rukia were busy dodging the balls while the others were on the ground covering their heads. Bokkun was having a blast when he felt a hand on his head. He stopped the attacks immediately. It turns out that Ella had stopped him.
"Don't make a mess! You manner less mecha!" Ella shouted at him as she throws him out the window.
Bokkun certainly flew far. Ella had a good arm when it comes to throwing things. Wonder what else she has under her sleeve.
"What a strong throw." Chris said in awe.
"Couldn't we use her?" Chuck wondered.
"We...shouldn't be worrying about that right now." Rukia told Chuck with a sweat drop.
"That's right! We need to go quickly!" Sonic told them.
"Ah, give me a moment!" Chuck quickly ran off with Mr. Tanaka right behind him.
"..."
Rukia just looks over at Sonic and shakes her head before walking outside to get ready. By the time the others got outside, Chuck and Mr. Tanaka joined them. Chuck was wearing an orange baseball hat. Mr. Tanaka just changed his outfit completely. He wore a pair of white pants, an orange shirt with blue sleeves, and he wore the same hat. They were very serious about this baseball game business. Mr. Tanaka even had a box with baseball equipment in them.
"Now, we're ready!" Chuck told them as he quickly rushes to the car.
Starting up the car, everyone got in with the exception of Sonic. As soon as Chuck puts the car in drive, he pressed the gas petal and they were off. With Sonic running in the front, Chuck sped up the car. Luckily, there were no cars in sight as Chuck drove to the stadium. Though, he had to be careful since usually at night there would be a rush hour. It took a while, but they made it to the stadium. After parking, the group got out as Sonic rushes into the stadium.
"No need for that." Sonic told somebody.
When the group rushed in the stadium, they saw Tails and Dr. Eggman. Rukia also took notice of Knuckles who was standing beside Tails. Sonic runs around the two before stopping in front of their view.
"Yo! How've you been, Knuckles?" Sonic asked him.
Knuckles didn't say anything, but he did give him a smirk as if acknowledging his existence. The group then joined up with the three before looking up at Dr. Eggman.
"So you came, Sonic...I was going to snatch up both Emeralds before you got here but it seems you have a team now..." Dr. Eggman admitted.
"You went back on your word." Rukia simply told him.
"Who cares! As long as I have the Emeralds, it doesn't matter if I did or didn't." Dr. Eggman nonchalantly replied.
Rukia narrowed her eyes at him. Her eyes slightly glowed up and he started shivering like crazy.
'What was that?!' Dr. Eggman thought to himself, noticing Rukia's eyes glowing up.
"Eggman! Return that emerald!" Sonic demanded.
Rukia merely close her eyes as Eggman straightens himself out. He didn't know what he just experienced, but he would need to look into it later.
"If you want it then you'll have to fight for it! Come forth, my robot baseball team!" Dr. Eggman called out.
"Wha...?" Sonic started, but soon realized something big was coming from behind.
The group turned around to see a large moving machine floating behind them.
"What is that?!" Sonic asked.
Everyone else had the same thought. They wondered what kind of robot would come out of there. The small hole in the middle opened up and then a light beamed down to the ground. Mini baseball robots were floating down to the ground, which was scaring Cream.
"Amy-san, I'm scared!" Cream admitted, holding onto Amy.
"It's okay." Amy assures her.
The robots would almost look like a baseball player, had it not been for their metal like appearances. They had the same color as Dr. Eggman's baseball uniform. There were eight all together when Rukia counted them. Dr. Eggman jumps down in front of his robotic baseball players and stood up straight with a baseball bat in his hand. He laughs wickedly.
"Sonic, I'll show you the true meaning of baseball. Prepare yourself!" Dr. Eggman told him.
"Prepare yourself!" Two new robots appeared in front of Dr. Eggman while pointing at Sonic.
Rukia looks at them and noticed they weren't like the other eight robots. One was tall, slim, gold-colored and reddish-pink-eyed while the other was short, stubby, silver and blue-eyed.
"It's forbidden to fight in this stadium-!" Tails started to persist, but Chuck got in Tails way to speak.
"I'll make you eat those words!" Chuck exclaimed, the brim of the hat hiding his eyes.
"Huh...?" Tails said quietly while peeking out from behind him.
"I'll show you some baseball you'll never forget!" Chuck told him with an excited smirk on his face.
"Chu...Chuck?" Tails called out hesitantly.
Dr. Eggman laughed, "So you're Chuck...It truly is a pleasure to meet you. I've seen your name on the Net in references with robots and baseball."
"I told you, you can't play here because it took many years to keep it this precious!" Tails continues to persist while appearing beside Eggman.
Rukia took the time to look around the stadium. As Tails said, it did look clean and well taken cared of. No wonder he was persisting on the baseball match.
"I can see why he would defend it..." Rukia muttered, watching the conversation between Chuck and Eggman.
"Eggman, you can't match my baseball skills." Chuck boldly told him.
"If you fight here, you'll mess up everything up!" Tails persisted once more.
"What is that little fox going on about?" The yellow robot wondered.
"Who knows?" The silver robot shrugged.
"Shut up! I was told that this is his precious field!" Tails defended, making the two robots back off.
"It's okay. This place is as good as ruined anyway..." A man from behind Tails told him.
The man wore a pair of light brown pants with a white shirt underneath a dark blue jacket. He had a red tie and wore the same baseball hat as Chuck. He was quite a chubby man and looked to be in his mid forties. Both Chris and Chuck turn to look at him. When Chuck saw him, he look down right ecstatic.
"You must be!" Chuck started off, but couldn't finish since he was really surprised.
"I'm Alfred Battler. I watch this stadium." The man, Alfred, introduced himself.
"Oh! I've read about you in the paper. That M. Johnson went from an unknown to the big league here!" Chuck excitedly pointed out.
"Really?" Chris was shocked.
"Well that was in the past." Alfred sadly replied.
"I'm so glad to be playing in this legendary stadium!" Chuck suddenly cried out, clearly happy right now.
"How rude..." Chris muttered.
'The old man sure knows how to show his happiness...' Rukia thought while shaking her head.
"If the team is assembled, I say we begin." Dr. Eggman interrupted Chuck's crying.
Chris and Chuck lean back a bit when Dr. Eggman spoke. The two girls were a bit confused right now.
"What?" Amy asked.
"What is it?" Cream wondered.
"Chao?"
"All right let's go! For the Chaos Emerald!" Chuck told the audience, but then Eggman pushed him out of the way.
"Out of the way...A baseball battle in Diamond Stadium!" Dr. Eggman finished.
"Baseball...?" Knuckles asked with a sweat drop.
'Why do I sense the two of them are only serious about baseball...?' Rukia thought with a sigh.
"I figured it was something like that..." Chris slowly said while shaking his head.
Mr. Tanaka was over on the side stretching and counting at the same time. Sonic was sitting on one of the robots head.
"Well, whatever..." Sonic replied nonchalantly.
"Are we going to play too?" Cream asked Amy.
"Looks that way." Amy answered.
"Chao?"
"Okay everyone! Let's play ball!" Mr. Tanaka announced as he had his arms behind his back with a baseball bat underneath.
"Hey grandpa, I bet anything Eggman is plotting something. We had better be careful." Chris warned him.
"It seems that way. He's got this weird stance." Chuck commented.
"That's not what I meant." Chris said with a sweat drop.
'Oi oi...please focus on getting the Chaos Emerald rather than baseball.' Rukia thought as she mentally sighs.
"First we decide which side bats first. Paper, rock sciss..." Dr. Eggman was interrupted by a voice.
"I'm against this!" Knuckles shouted out.
"What?" Both Chuck and Dr. Eggman look over at him, as their Janken was interrupted.
"Playing baseball for a Chaos Emerald...What do you think you're doing? Geez...If we were to lose, we will be force to hand over two Chaos Emeralds to Eggman!" Knuckles disapproves greatly on this game.
Rukia had to agree with Knuckles. It would put them at a disadvantage if Eggman did win.
"Not a team player, huh?" Dr. Eggman asked with a smug grin.
"Not up to it?" Chuck questioned with a smug look.
"No guts." Amy told him.
"None at all." What? Even Cream was involved in this?
"Chao, Chao."
"Hey you guys!" Knuckles was about to defend himself, but Mr. Tanaka spoke when he got near Knuckles.
"If you don't agree we will have to..." Mr. Tanaka started off.
"What the hell?! Who you guys calling gutless?!" Knuckles interjected.
Everyone, except Rukia, was surrounding Knuckles which angered him even more. There was even an anime vain on his head. Poor guy.
"THEN Knuckles! ...It's decided." Sonic nudged him.
Knuckles was quiet for a moment before he sighs with irritation.
"Oh fine I give up! I'll do it, I'll do it! You all turned on me! I will remember this!" Knuckles pointed out angrily.
"If you guys are done tormenting Knuckles, I suggest we begin." Rukia told them.
"Aww...we were just having our fun teasing him. That's all." Sonic said with a grin.
"It didn't look fun to me." Rukia told him before walking off to get ready.
Knuckles watched her go, wondering if she was trying to defend him. At least she wasn't in the circle and calling him 'gutless'. Knuckles twitched at the word before everyone walked off to get ready. Chuck brought out the box that had uniforms and baseball equipment in it. Chuck threw each shirt to everyone and they put it on. Just like Mr. Tanaka, the uniform was the same color and design. After playing Janken with Dr. Eggman, Chuck won the round and they were up to bat.
"Play ball, and all that..." The yellow robot lazily announced.
Chris was first to bat and he had on a full uniform. Instead of a cap, he wore a helmet instead. One of the robots was on the outfield, getting ready to pitch.
"Come." Chris taunted as he positions himself.
The robot swings it's arm back and threw the baseball quickly. It was one of those fast balls. The ball hit the baseball mitt and Chris received a strike.
"Strike one!" The yellow robot called out.
Chris stares at the ball before turning to the pitcher with a shock expression. Sonic gave out a sharp whistle. He was impressed for sure. The pitcher kept up with the same pace and soon Chris was out after the yellow robot called out a third strike.
"What the heck is that?" Chris muttered, disappointed with himself.
"Good job! Just like that!" Dr. Eggman laughed, clearly happy at the moment.
"Okay! Leave this to me!" Tails assures them as he steps up to bat.
The robot swings it's arm back. Instead of throwing it, however, the robot stretched it's arm out and flicks the baseball into the baseball mitt. This caught Tails of guard.
"It's a strike." The yellow robot simply told him.
The robot stretched it's arm back and Tails turns to the yellow robot. There was a visible anime vain on his head.
"You can't count that!?" Tails yelled up at him, but he still questioned it.
"That's the way they play, no choice." The yellow robot replied.
Tails huffs before he went back to batting. Just like Chris, Tails was soon out after two more strikes. Tails sighs as he joins up with his team. It was now Amy's turn and she steps up to the plate. Though, she wasn't going to use a bat. Amy was going to use her hammer.
"If that's how you wanna play!" Amy was going to get even with those robots.
It appears to the group that the robot was going to use a fast ball on her, but instead the ball was slowly moving towards Amy. This was her chance.
"It's mine!" Amy shouted as her hammer hits against the ball.
"You did it!" Chris cheered her on.
"I had a feeling she was good at this." Knuckles commented.
The ball continues to fly up higher into the air. It almost look like she was going to get a home run. However, two robots were running across the field and one threw the other into the sky. Soon enough, the flying robot caught the ball and Amy was out. With three outs, it was time to switch. Once they switched, they resumed playing again. Amy was now the pitcher and everyone else was on the outfield.
"I'm better at hitting than battling..." Amy admitted.
Amy took her position and then threw the ball. Instead of throwing at the baseball mitt, she hit the robot instead. It broke up into pieces. Since Amy hit the robot, it was allowed to take a base. Once it was put back together, the robot walked to first base while holding his head.
"Oh sorry about that." Amy apologized with a nervous smile.
"You certainly have proved yourself." Rukia commented with a small smirk.
"I-It was an accident!" Amy persisted with a pout before she gets into position again.
Everyone had sweat dropped at Amy's actions, but then they got serious. Before Amy could pitch, the robot that Amy just smashed ran to the other base. When she did throw, Mr. Tanaka caught the ball and threw it to Tails. The robot who was batting had a strike. Tails caught the ball and was waiting to tag the incoming robot. The robot continues to run to Tails when it suddenly stretched it's legs out, jumps up in the air, and lands on the base. It was now safe. The robot continues to bat and when Amy pitched, the robot hit the ball and it flew into the air. The robot started running like crazy.
"It's a home run!" Dr. Eggman yelled out.
Sonic was running across the field to reach the ball. He ran up the stairs, toward the seats, and up the scoreboard. When he got to the top, he caught the ball.
"YEAH, SONIC!" Everyone cheered at him.
"Home run!" The yellow robot called out as he moves his arm around in a circular motion.
"If you catch it outside of the field it's actually out." Chuck explained as he sighs to himself.
"Why are you worried about that!? This is an anime!" Sonic shouted out.
The game has been going on for a while and the robots were now in the outfield. The robot threw the ball and the ball flew right back at it, making it fly into pieces. Who was it? It was Amy! She quickly runs to first base and waves at the pitcher with a fake smile.
"Oh, so sorry about that!" Amy apologized once again.
The robots were now sweat dropping at her, not wanting to be hit by the ball any time soon. The robot scowls at her once it fixes itself. It was now Knuckles turn and he walks up to the plate. He looked quite determined. As the robot throws the ball, Knuckles hit the ball and it flew up quickly into the sky.
"I hate to say but it's a home run." The yellow robot pointed out.
"GO KNUCKLES!" Everyone cheered him on as he continues to run.
Once he came back, it was Rukia's turn. She takes a bat with her and walks up to the plate. Fixing her gloves and tapping the bat on the plate, she prepares herself. Rukia watches the pitcher warily as it swings it's hand back and throws a fast ball at her. Narrowing her eyes, Rukia swings her arms around and makes contact with the ball. She hit the ball so hard, the bat fell from her hands. The ball went flying into the sky.
"A-another home run!" The yellow robot called out.
"YEAH! GO RUKIA!" Everyone cheered for her.
"Two home runs in a row! YEAH!" Chuck yelled out, all pumped up.
Rukia jogs around around the field and then on the home plate. While running, she had felt new presence's up above. Two to be exact. Wonder why they were here. Pushing the thought aside, she joins the others at the bench. Now that they were together, Chuck began to speak.
"It's thirty three to thirty six. Let's do this! Tanaka!" Chuck called out.
"Yes!" Mr. Tanaka responded.
"Call out the secret pinch hitter, Cheese!" Chuck ordered.
"Chao!"
Needless to say, Mr. Tanaka was shocked by this. Rukia sweat drops at this, feeling bad for him since he can't play. Mr. Tanaka helped Cheese set up and then rushed back to the bench. Cheese was now by the home plate and was ready to play. The pitcher looked lost, but continued to throw the ball anyway. The robot threw it over Cheese's head. It earned a ball. The robot repeated the same motion, but received a ball again. The robot then hit the home plate, but it still earned a ball. The robot then threw the ball slowly over Cheese's head, but still a ball.
"Ball! Foul ball!" The yellow robot called out.
Cheese then flew over to first base. Dr. Eggman was not pleased.
"You useless idiot! You're completely useless!" Eggman shouts angrily at it.
Chuck took Cream over and started whispering to her. Once he was done, Cream gave him a nod.
"You got it? Go, do it!" Chuck told her.
"I got it." Cream said as she walks over to the home plate.
Before the pitcher had a chance to throw the ball, Cream shouts out to him. The robot stops mid-throw and listens.
"Pitcher robo-san! I...I wanted to say this since I first saw you..." Cream told him shyly.
There were stars in Cream's eyes and it turned got it's attention. It was even blushing lightly.
"Oh, pitcher robo-san! I...love you..." Cream slowly confessed.
The pitcher's face was completely red from embarrassment. It then dropped the ball and it slowly rolls away.
"Ball four, player walks." The yellow robot suddenly called out.
'Nice plan...' Rukia thought, amused by the outcome.
Cream jogs happily to a base and Dr. Eggman was becoming more angry by the minute.
"What the hell are you doing out there!?" Dr. Eggman demanded from him.
Knuckles was up again and he got another home run. For someone who was against playing this game, he was good at batting. Knuckles then jogs around the outfield.
"He did it! Another home run!" Chuck yelled out in joy.
"Now we're tied!" Amy pointed out.
"Hey, everyone look!" Chris draws their attention to the seats up above.
Everyone looks around and noticed they were drawing a crowd. Rukia lightly crosses her arms.
'I see. So that's why I felt many presence's here...' Rukia thought.
"Hey guys! Hit a home run for us!" One of the kids called out to them.
"This is...!" Chuck started off, quite shocked right now.
"Just what is going on?" Alfred wondered, quite shocked as well.
The scoreboard turned the number around and it was now a thirty six. They were tied. Sonic was now up and he barely hit the ball as it just rolls off. Sonic rushed to first base before the robot had a chance to throw it. Now, it was Chris's turn and he didn't look quite determined as before. The pitcher threw a fast ball and Chris cringed, thinking the ball was going to hit him.
"Strike!" The yellow robot called out.
Chris received another strike and it looks like he was going to get a final strike if Sonic hadn't called a time out. Chris walks over to Sonic and the two of them spoke. Whatever Sonic had said to Chris, it made Chris more determined than ever.
"Play!" The yellow robot called out.
'Sonic's right! You can't give up before you start!' Chris thought to himself, as he prepares to hit.
The pitcher throws another fast ball. Chris swings, missed, and received a strike. He looks down and sighs.
"RUN! CHRIS!" Chuck suddenly shouts at him.
Chris looks up to see a robot chasing after the ball. He quickly snaps out of it and runs to first base. Sonic quickly runs to second base and then to third. The robot threw to first base, but Chris was already safe. With Sonic already at home base, that lead the team to thirty seven. They were now in the lead. Everyone was cheering at this great moment. That moment had to end when one of the robot's head flew off it's body and landed on Sonic's head.
"What the!?" Sonic exclaimed.
"Oh! The robot's gone nuts and moved on it's own! It's going to explode! What should I do...!" Dr. Eggman panicked.
'He did this on purpose.' Rukia scowled mentally at him.
"What?! Explode!" Chris shouted out.
"Trying to do a "no game". I'll get this thing off!" Sonic yelled, trying to get the head off.
Sonic then ran around the outfield really fast. It appears the head wasn't going to budge, which made Sonic more annoyed and irritated.
"Sonic! JUMP Sonic!" Knuckled ordered him.
"All right!" Sonic replied, jumping up in the air.
Knuckles ran over to him and jumps up quickly. He had his fist held back, in which Sonic started to panic, and then there was an explosion. Knuckles had hit the head off of Sonic and the two of them were above the smoke. Dr. Eggman was floating in the air, having a Chaos Emerald in his hand.
"My plan has failed!"
Knuckles and Sonic landed safely on the ground as they watch Dr. Eggman starting to leave with the Chaos Emerald.
"Even so I'll be taking the Chaos Emerald. I win in the end anyway." Dr. Eggman laughed as he floated away.
"Hn."
As Dr. Eggman was floating away, a fast flying ball came toward his floating machine. Not knowing what hit him, the baseball hit against his machine. When the ball made contact, it went through the metal and an explosion occurred. There was a startled cry as Dr. Eggman flew up into the stars. The robots quickly followed after him. Surprised by this, Knuckles and Sonic look over their shoulders to see a rather smug Rukia who had a baseball bat in her hands. Noticing their looks, Rukia puts the baseball bat down and looks away. Cheers were suddenly heard and everyone looks up at the stadium. The crowd were yelling down at Sonic's team. They were quite happy about all this.
"Good job! That was so much fun!" The crowd cheered.
Suddenly, a person came onto the field. He wore a pale blue suit with a dark blue shirt underneath. He also had on a yellow tie. He was walking over to Alfred. The cheers seemed to have gotten louder when the man entered the field.
"M. Johnson!" Chris exclaimed.
"I saw this on TV. It was a wonderful game. All thanks to you, Al. This stadium, today and from now on, shall always be this bright!" M. Johnson told Alfred.
"M..." Alfred was overcome with happiness.
"I have decided to leave this field and it's care to you. Do you agree?" M. Johnson asked.
"Of course!" Alfred agreed.
The two men were now shaking hands, causing the audience to cheer even louder. Everyone was off to the side, happy for the two. Especially Alfred since the stadium was here to stay.
"The Emeralds were stolen but we saved something else from being lost. It wasn't the Major League...but today, it was just as great." Chuck told them.
