Ch.1
9 year old Eira Potter watched as her body was removed from the house by the police then noticed the young man who had told her where he would be sending her so her soul could rest in peace, she knew she had to go and nodded to him as he asked if she was ready to leave. She then turned in time to see the Dursleys being put in the police car as the Soul reaper gently tapped her forehead, she felt herself fade then found herself in a snow covered clearing in a little wood.
Eira smiled sadly as she noticed the reason why the Dursleys had killed her, hanging in long strands over her shoulders. The small girl then noticed there seemed to be no one around and sighed as she wandered towards the mountain she could see, she made it up half way through the snow then began to sing a song that popped into her head,
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside Don't let them in, don't let them see Let it go, let it go It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small Let it go, let it go My power flurries through the air into the ground Let it go, let it go

Eira then heard someone coming and hid quietly as two Young men that were a little older then her came by her hiding placing, Eira stayed quiet as a mouse as they looked around and mentioned something about a creature called a hollow that was in the area. Eira waited until they left before coming out of the bushes when she suddenly felt faint and passed out…
Elsa waited quietly in her descendant's mindscape next to the large white fox that was her many times great granddaughter's Zanpakutou named Shirokitsune, they were quietly talking when they noticed Eira had shown up and was looking at them in absolute fear. Elsa approached slowly with a gentle smile and said "Hello granddaughter…I'm you ancestor, my name is Elsa."
Eira looked up at the beautiful woman then gave a small smile as Elsa offered her hand to the tiny 9 year old, Eira took it and then found herself being hugged by Elsa which reminded Eira of her mother. Eira then began to cry as she clung to Elsa for that comfort she had needed for so long, Elsa took it in stride and hugged Eira until all her tears were spent and she was calm. Elsa then picked the 9 year old up and brought her over to Shiro's side as the Fox wrapped his 7 tails around them comfortingly, Eira smiled shyly up at the fox who then licked her cheek while Elsa asked "Eira…do you know why your hair changed color after touching the ice?"
"Because I'm a freak like the Dursleys said…."
Elsa was appalled and quickly told Eira that wasn't the reason and if anyone was a freak, it was the Dursleys for treating her like one. Eira then looked confused and asked "Then why did my hair turn silvery white?"
Elsa smiled and then began to explain everything about Eira's family line and that magic was real but their family's bloodline had remained dormant until Lily was born with basic magic ability with a strong knack for healing and water magic. Eira listened in wonder to her great grandmother's story then asked once it was done, "So I inherited your Ice magic after a very long time in our family?"
Elsa nodded and kissed the child's forehead as she said "remember, love is the key to controlling your magic and fear can be your greatest enemy when it comes to your power…"
Eira looked confused at that until Elsa explained what happened with her Sister Anna and the fear she had of hurting her family with her powers for the longest time, Eira then nodded in understanding as Shirokitsune then spoke up and said "I'm what's known as a Zanpakutou spirit, I have the ability to send hollows back into the reincarnation cycle."
Eira looked up at the large fox then asked in confusion, "what's a hollow?"
Shiro explained what hollows were and Eira listened in surprise and shock as she asked "do you think my parents could be hollows?"
Shiro sighed then said "I'm not sure, little kit. It is possible but the spell they were killed with, is known for destroying souls completely if enough hate and anger is used behind it…"
Eira became sad at that as Elsa hugged her and then told her it was time for Eira to walk up and they would talk later, Eira nodded with a small smile and then found herself back on the mountain instead of the Snow covered forest that was her mindscape. Eira then decided to find shelter for the night when she heard Elsa's voice in her head, "Eira, you can create your own shelter with your powers over ice and snow. I'll walk you through it, ok sweetheart?"
Eira thanked her softly and then listened to her grandmother's explanation on how to create her little shelter; Eira then created a small igloo to sleep in for the night and slipped inside to sleep. She didn't realize how close she had been to the hollow that the two young males she had seen, the hollow sniffed around but it lost the scent of its prey that had been there a few minutes ago. It snarled angrily but then it caught the scent of the two shingami that had been in the area about twenty minutes ago and gave a satisfied growl at having new prey to hunt, he then headed off after their trail and was completely unaware that Eira was being protected by the very snow she could control.
Two days later…
Ukitake stumbled into Soul Society with a bad injured leg and arm as the gate Guard caught him and sent his partner to get the fourth division captain as he asked "Captain Ukitake, where's Vice-captain Gin? What happened?"
Ukitake hissed in pain then said "The hollow took us by surprise in the snowstorm that happened suddenly on the mountain, Gin managed to distract it so I could get away but he never met me at our meeting place. I waited for a day but he never came to meet me."
Unohana then came running into the area where Ukitake was and began to heal him of his wounds, Unohana then noticed something strange around the wounds as she asked "Please tell me that you did not go after that new Hollow that can transform people with just a bite into an animal!"
"Yamamoto sent us out after it for some reason…"
Unohana went silent with stone cold fury then snarled "How could he send you after it knowing this might happen!"
Ukitake just sighed then asked "How long until the change finishes…."
Unohana looked at him with sad eyes and said "Two hours, tops…."
Ukitake sighed as he was then helped to the fourth division, unaware that Aizen had heard everything from around the corner and was now worried about Gin…
Meanwhile….
Gin limped towards the bushes he had found and was softly cursing Yamamoto for sending him and Ukitake on this mission, he crawled into the bushes as he felt the poison the hollow injected into him starting to work on his body. He then felt a burning sensation all over his body as it felt like his insides were twisting and turning painfully, he blacked out for about ten minutes then came to as a small whine of pain came from his throat. He dragged himself out of the bushes and looked down at his hands that were no longer even hands, he jaw dropped at seeing large floppy white paws where his hands should have been then quickly looked at his body to find he was an adorable but badly injured Arctic wolf cub! He then heard footsteps coming towards him and felt hands wrap around his waist as they picked him up, he whined in pain as he was cuddled then looked up to see a young white haired girl with beautiful icy emerald eyes looking at him with a sad smile. He looked up at the girl as she said "I guess you're alone like me, little one…I'll take care of those wounds then you're free to do what you want once they're healed."
Gin could see the loneness in her eyes and then licked her hand gently as he got a gentle smile; they then heard the sound of footsteps in the fresh snow as Eira paled then dashed quietly into the trees with Gin in her arms. Gin gave a small whine as he heard Unohana's voice calling for him and made to struggle to get free, he then noticed the absolute fear in the girl's eyes and then gently licked her face as Eira asked "Is she your owner, little one?"
Gin blinked as he thought to himself "Wait….owner? Does she think I'm a pet puppy?"
Eira then sighed and slowly started towards Unohana when she heard a sound that sent chills down her spine, the hollow that had transformed Gin and had been hunting Eira was now going after the older woman! Eira noticed the hollow sneaking up behind the woman and yelled a warning from the cover of the trees causing Unohana to turn just in time and dodge the hollow. Unohana then managed to cut the mask a bit causing the hollow to roar, he then managed to disappear within the next minute as Unohana had snow thrown into her eyes. Unohana cursed as she managed to get the snow out then realized the hollow had escaped; she then looked towards the grove of trees as she looked for the person that had warned her about the hollow…
Eira trembled as the woman approached the trees and made to run when the "puppy" started barking and wiggling, the woman then headed in her direction as Eira turn and ran towards the end of the grove but found herself boxed in by a cliff that was at the back of the grove. Eira trembled as she looked for a way out only to hear the woman call to her; Eira placed her back to the cliff as the woman approached slowly with a gentle smile and held her hand out as she said softly "Are you the one who warned me about the hollow behind me?"
Eira nodded slowly as she kept herself small while hugging Gin gently, Unohana noticed the badly injured wolf cub in Eira's arms and asked "Where did you find that wolf cub?"
Eira looked surprised and then said in a soft voice, "I found him in the bushes nearby. He was already injured when I found him…"
Unohana then realized she was dealing with an abused child and smiled as she asked "what's your name little one?"
"Eira Potter…"
Unohana then asked "How did you come to this mountain?"
Eira then told her and Unohana paled at hearing the girl had been killed by her relatives she had been placed with just because her hair change color from touching a patch of ice with her bare hand, Unohana then gently and slowly approached Eira then pulled her into a gentle hug as she felt the young girl stiffen. Eira then relaxed as she leaned into the hug, Unohana then gently scooped the little girl up along with the wolf cub and said "Let's get back to the fourth division and I'll get you some new clothes and some food to eat, is that alright?"
Eira nodded then they headed down the mountain together as Gin finally drifted to sleep from his wounds and exhaustion…
