Chapter 10: Blazing Flames
Fairytail Guild
"Let me go! Lucy needs me!" A struggling Natsu yelled. Trying to get free out of Laxu's and Gajeel's restraining him.
"My son you must calm down; at this time, it is not good for us to act recklessly. We must first know where is Lucy's location. And once we located it I promise you we will go in full force." The old man Makarov said calmly as he can.
"But…. Tsk! Damn it!" Natsu cursed as he goes back laying on the infirmary bed with the others wait for their Master's next decision. Meanwhile, Warren is still trying to get in contact with Lucy. When Erza's message was perceived by him.
"Warren if u can hear me tell the guild to go to the deep east side of the forest and hurry up Lucy needs our rescue as soon as possible."
"Master Makarov! I've got a message from Erza! It seems that Lucy is being held captive by the dark guild in the Deep East Side of the forest."
"All of you get ready! We must head out as soon as possible! We will now save our nakama from the dark guild Orobius. Let's head out and give them the fight that they want!"
The whole guild shouts. Giving their response to their Master's orders.
"Master Makarov let me save her too! If there is someone who should save her, it should be me."
"And for what reason I must risk one of my children to fight while he is still not fully recovering?"
"Because I love Lucy with all my heart, I'm willing to give everything just to make her happy and safe. To see her smiling again, by my side. And not to mention I still have a mistake to correct from her." Natsu said in all seriousness. Master Makarov stays quiet for a second, seems like thinking of his decision. Then Makarov raised his head to look directly to Natsu's eyes. Upon seeing his child's expression, he knew that the brat he once used to take care of is gone. Instead what in front of him is a man with determination and desire to protect the ones he love the most. The old man chuckled upon himself thinking that brats this day's sure to grow fast.
"Very well my child I will let you, but you must promise to retrieve Lucy at all cost while also coming back alive. Is that clear?"
Grin "Of course old man, I wouldn't let some dark guild kill me that easily."
"Good then we must head out with the others." Natsu with the Master, Laxus, and Gajeel heads out towards the Deep East part of the Forest.
Orbius Guild
Lucy sat in the cold cobble made floor, still thinking about the fact she is pregnant with Natsu's child. Then the door to her room cell once again opened and there standing in the doorway is Velpigore and other two cloaked figures. The two cloaked figures grabbed Lucy by the arm each and lifted her up. Lucy yelps at the sudden motion and she begins to struggle.
"Let go!" Seeing that her keys are far from her reach, clinging on the other side of the room, she has no choice but to struggle.
"Don't worry child your suffering will end soon, as I offer you and your child to our Lord Azazel's resurrection." They then transported her to the highest point of the building, that is a castle in the middle of forest. They then chained Lucy to a clearing with a pentagram marking and they began to chant an unknown ancient language. As the words are spoken the blonde girl began to experienced pain never like before, like its tearing her from the inside. She screamed loud than ever she did before, the only thing that she can do upon receiving that form of pain. It continued as a pillar of red light begins to show ascending to the dark cloud filled sky above.
The pillar of light didn't go unnoticed by Natsu and the guild. "Oi old man over there!" Gajeel screamed as he pointed towards the beam of light. The whole guild ran towards it see an illusion magic barrier crumbling from the force of the pillar of light penetrating to it. The crumbling barrier revealed an old castle where the Orbius Guild is.
"It seems they came here too early, it seems Lilian had failed me, never mind I'll just search for her later to punish her and add her to the sacrifice once Lord Azazel arises. For the mean time let's give our guest some entertainment for the night." He looks behind him to his subordinate. The dark cloaked figure nods and goes off to call for others.
Natsu's team halted for a second to see a hundred of the dark guild mages coming for them.
"Everyone! Get ready we have company!" Every single one in Fairytail guild runs forward, ready for the incoming attack.
Natsu pumped his fists together igniting them. He then jumped high into the air and performs a slamming attack into the fray below, knocking out several of the mages and burning some from the fire generated from the force of his slam. He punched with his flaming fists to the dozens of dark mages attacking.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" He then punched in a straight line knocking an enemy with force that sends him flying ad others away. He continues to punch and kick his way towards the seemingly endless horde of dark mages. A dark mage then suddenly appeared from his back and tends to cast a magic at him.
"Iron Dragon's Fist!" Gajeel then arrived and punched the dark mage across the face knocking the mage down on to the ground. "Gihee! Lucky you flame head that I'm at your back. Now you owe me one Salamader." Gajeel said as he continues to fight right behind Natsu.
The ground beneath them then started to shake and a rock like humanoid appeared and strikes towards Natsu with its fists. The Iron Dragon Slayer intercepted the attack with an iron fist of his own.
"Trying to score easily huh?" Gajeel then pushed the rock humanoid back with his force. The rock man then recovered and stand up. The rock man didn't speak back instead it launched towards Gajeel with strong force, Gajeel dodged in time, the humanoid punch through creating an explosion and dust. Natsu then goes beside Gajeel to back him up.
"Salamander go ahead I can take care of this. You have to rescue the princess right?"
"Ok then but you owe me a match then!" Natsu understanding his nakama's intention proceeded to circle around and goes straight to the castle.
"Haha how ironic a Dragon saving a princess, well this not exactly a Fairytale world we're living in. I suppose you would agree with me too right? Well not that you will resp-!" The Rockman then interrupts Gajeel with a straight up punch to the face in which he guarded with his iron scale filled arms.
"Well then let's see which one is harder the rock or the iron." Gajeel attacked with his iron clad hands. The rock man blocked with its hands. Its hands were destroyed by Gajeel's punch, though what came next surprised the Dragon Slayer a little. The hand which is destroyed is getting back to its original form. Gajeel backs away but was followed by a powerful hard punch. It sent him flying for a few meters. The cracks from the humanoids fists recovers.
"It seems it would take some more effort for me to pulverize you down completely. Iron Dragon's Iron Sword!" Gajeel struck his iron sword hand to the monster-like creature. He managed to slice the monsters arm off with some effort. Though the creature then grabbed its arm and places its arm back like nothing happened. The monster attacked again with ferocity and power that Gajeel swear he can feel some dents forming on his iron scale. He must defeat the creature fast. Gajeel then struck the monster with his sword, hitting it in the other arm this time.
"Iron Dragon's Iron Club!" He then smashes the fallen arm, pulverizing it. The arm rebuilds itself from the pulverized rock and reattaches itself to the beast. The other arm of the beast then turned to a sharp pointed spear like form and the beast lunges forward towards Gajeel in a very fast pace, something that seems to be impossible for its size.
"SHIT!" The Iron Dragon Slayer blocks the attack just in time before the spear almost made contact with his forehead. The beast isn't dumb, its aware it can't be destroyed with just powerful attacks. Gajeel needs to end this fight quickly. The rock man in a fast pace, attempts to stab Gajeel again but it was stopped by a hard object. In which is Gajeel's own torso, his body now field with iron scales. "Time for the offensive!" He then bombarded the creature with Iron Dragon's Hard fist attacks as it shows blunt force can pulverize the being. Though as how much Gajeel bombards the creature with his attacks it immediately regenerates. Frustrated with this Gajeel jumps back from the monster while it's still regenerating, gaining range he clasps his hands together in front of his mouth.
"Iron Dragon's Roar!" A blast of powerful energy emerges upon him, unleashing a loud sound and shrapnel of iron towards his enemy, penetrating and hitting even more targets within its range. The sheer power of it created a straight line of carved earth. "Finally its over-… What the hell!" Though the monster is still there, reforming and regenerating itself. "Looks like I'm in deep shit."
"Gajeel!" Levy then appeared in sight. "Why the hell are you here shrimp!?"
"I heard the explosion and followed it, as I thought I can find you here!" She shouted back.
"You should get away from here this one isn't normal!" He ordered her.
"But-" The beast finally reformed itself with its spear hand and it noticed Levy and it lunges towards her with the same speed and force as before.
"Levy!" Gajeel runs as fast he can towards Levy. Levy closes her eyes ready for the stab that will come from the monster.
BANG!
The sound of hard rock hitting hard metal echoed. Levy opened her eyes to see Gajeel blocking the spear with his arms. The spear's now broken because of the powerful impact. Gajeel then pushes the monster back.
"Levy." He said in a serious yet calm manner. He then looked at her. "I'm sorry for shouting to you I just want to make you safe and sound. Away from the things that might hurt you." The monster attacks Gajeel and stop the monster grabbing it by the arms.
"But Gajeel I can protect myself!" she becomes silent for a moment. "And I know you would protect me. Because I trust you Gajeel."
"I know shrimp." He then looks towards her direction, while still holding back the monster. "I know that's why let's finish this together, the two of us." He then smiles at her direction and pushes the monster back and kicks it to have some spacing between him and the monster.
"Ok!" Levy cheerily replies back. "Levy I want you to cast a spell that will slow him down first." Gajeel then observes the monster if It can understand what he says to Levy. Seeing no reaction or change of movement from the monster, he came to a conclusion that the monster doesn't have the capacity to understand words. That explains why it doesn't react to any ramblings he is making earlier, making the monster's evasion and blocking from his attacks as natural part of the monsters defense, not because of the fact it can understand his words that he is casting his spells out loud.
"Levy now!" Gajeel attack the monster in which evaded it, but it doesn't know that there is a following attack from the other. "Solid Script Magic! Freeze!" The transparent word Freeze then appeared and a breeze of cool air surrounds it, temperature around the monster then dropped and the moisture around it turned to crystals in a matter of seconds rendering the monster some quick movements. "Iron Dragon's Club!" He then smashed the earth creating a pit deep and large enough for the monster to fit in. He then quickly jumps off from the front to the back of the monster to its back. He then kicks off the monster to the pit. The monster still frozen by the spell earlier.
"Levy melt him!"
"Solid Script Magic! Magma!" then a word Magma appears above the pit and then goes down directly through it. The monster tries to get up from the now magma filled pit. Gajeel stops it by using his Iron Club hand hitting its head. The two then see the monster dissolves into the lava below.
"Gajeel. You're an idiot." Levy hugged Gajeel as he then wraps his huge arms into her small frame. "I know you want to protect me but giving up your life is just too much, *sniff* I don't want to lose you, you know." She continued to cry on his torso.
"Yes shrimp I know." He then faces her towards level. "Yes, Levy." He then punched a dark mage trying to go near them.
"So I guess this isn't the right place for this. Let's continue later. What do yah think shrimp Gihee." He then winks at her as she smiled in return.
Meanwhile, Natsu is now nearing towards the castle after punching his way through a bunch of dark mage.
"Don't worry I'm coming Lucy."

Hi everyone, once again I apologize for the delay of the story. Gotten busy these days. I'm planning to end this story after two chapters or so. And always thank you for those who still follows the story despite the delay. And I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. So long guys byeiii! ~
