Short chapter guys. In the next one Bella finally gets to meet Paul! Speaking of that has Paul phased by now? Oh well, in either case I'm going to deviate like hell.
Chapter 10
During lunch the next day Bella sat down with the other club leaders to hash out the details. The community service club would give gems to Lauren to cut. She would give them to Mike to sell. Mike would give the money to Bella and she would give everybody their cut and the cooking club would get a portion for food and compensation.
"But who is going to deliver the food?"
Ah, Angela, always the one with the most important questions. Bella knew there was a reason why she had made her the right hand man…er woman.
"The business club can…for a fee."
"Of course…how much are we talking here?" Bella asked warily.
"Two more rubber ducks each week, but that is just for Forks. We don't have the man power to deliver to La Push too."
Bella stared at him blankly. Cookie hissed.
"Wait! Nobody said anything about rubber ducks!"
"And that's why I'm a business man and you're just a cook." Mike smirked.
Cookie lunged over the table but Bella moved quickly and held her back. Seems Cookie had a bit of a temper.
"Calm down both of you. Cookie, please forgive me for not…mentioning the rubber ducks before. This deal was clearly unfair to you. I will give you one rubber duck every week along with ten percent of the profits, mind you that's all on top of the money just to buy the food."
Cookie seemed appeased.
Bella shook her head at the insanity of it all.
"Okay, so La Push won't be left out. They are part of the community too. I guess my club can deliver there. "
"What day?" Angela asked. Bella shrugged.
"How soon will the meals be ready Cookie?"
"Friday directly after school." Bella was going to ask how about the cooking clubs classes, but from the smirk on Cookie's face Bella did not want to know.
"Okay Friday after school it is. The community service club takes meals to La Push and the business club takes them to the residents of Forks."

After lunch Lauren gave Mike the cut gems and he disappeared for a while. Two classes later he gave Bella a check.
Apparently, he had sold everything for 200 gold coins. Now, Bella could do this in two ways. She could either give everybody their cut of gold coins and keep the rest for herself and turn it into cash. Or she could change it into cash first and then give everybody their cut.
Greed or not to greed? That is the question.
Bella sighed to herself.
Not to greed. She was just too good of a person to cheat her friends out of money.

Well, that was convenient as hell. Bella quickly changed all of her gold to cash. She gave Mike his cut. He didn't seem to think it was out of the ordinary when she handed him three thousand dollars.
Ah. Video game logic.
It went the same way with the others except Cookie. Bella had given her six thousand. Half for food and supplies and half for compensation. She was thrilled that Bella had given them so much. She had promised them the best meals ever. Bella would hold her to that.
Bella gave the rest to Angela to put into their club fund.
The rest of the school day passed by in a blur. Bella spent most of it thinking about her most recent romance options.
Paul and Leah?
Paul she had known about, but Leah well that kind of blew her mind. Bella wasn't sure how to act or if she should act on it or not. She didn't feel those sorts of things for Leah or at least she didn't think so. Bella shook her head and decided to not think too much on it. Leah was merely a potential romance option.
As for Rosalie?
Bella was not opening that can of worms because once she did…she thought of Emmett and shuddered.
No. Just no. No good lay in that direction.

Bella settled onto the couch with her homework and books. The homework only took a few minutes, but she didn't gain any intelligence points from it much to her disappointment. Dinner was in the oven and it would be fine until Charlie got home so she settled down with one of her books.
The power upgrade didn't give her any experience points, but it did cancel out the -1 wisdom she had. She only needed a few more wisdom points to level up so she grabbed the book on Confucius.

Charlie spent the next half an hour panicking over Bella's weeping form. It took him weeks and Bella's many assurances that it wasn't the ice cream before he brought more home again.
