Chapter 9; R2 P
(Earth, Unknown Location)
Seasar examined the data from his spreadsheet before going to his computer. With a quick sears of keystrokes he activated his voice recorder.
"Seasar's personal log, conserving R2 P (Rex Recovery Project); It has been only five months since Rex was pulled into the EVO know as Breach's unstable wormhole. While I have made great strides early on and I can, in essoins, track Rex... It is not know if I can manufacture anything... Speculation, is useless. Progress seems to have come to a standstill, no matter what I do I can't break through." Seasare let out a heavy sigh as his eyes turned to the ground.
"You shouldn't give up Seasar." 6 said flatly.
"I'm not!" Seasar raged back.
"Sounds like your are..."
"Shut your mouth!" Seasare picking up a nearby wrench he whirled around and let it fly.
6 saw the projectile come towards him the stoic man only stood still. As the wrench came his way he only tilted his head slightly allowing it to whiz by, 6 drew his sword as it extend outward and became a full sword. "If you ever do that again then make sure you don't miss."
Seasare grabbed the nearest tool. 6 unsheathed his mecha-khatangas.
"Boys!" A voice boomed backing the two for their receive actions. "Knock this off or I am going to get involved, and you don't want that!" Doc Holiday stormed down a set of metal stair. "Now get this straight! We are all worried and scared and we all need rest but, don't you two start anything." She soon stood between them. She shifted her gaze between the two of them. "Now both of you stop this non-senses or you both will deal with me."
"Yes, ma'am." They both said.
She flipped a flash drive towards Seasare. "I managed to log some time with a particle collared, this data should help you out." She tossed a plastic case towards 6. "This should help with what you're working on. Seasare, even with this data and the best conditions do you think you can do something?"
"Well it is hard to say but maybe." Seasare shrugged.
"6 how long until your done?"
"Not long." He replied flatly.
"Good. I know that most of our efforts are to retrieve Rex, but I have to make it at lest look like we are working on the Nanite problem. So, I'm going to my lab. I have some new specimens that I want to examine now. Everyone play nice or deal with me!" Doctor Holiday made a happy smirk and walked away from the two men.
