Hi guys, SWiQ here. There's been some things I guess I should clear up (this is not supposed to be an indirect; it is not aimed at anyone, just explaining things more clearly).
For starters, Isabelle wants to be just friends with Simon. She really truly loves Asher, but she (as she admitted) felt a spark with Simon. You can't argue with chemistry. *wink*
Simon likes Isabelle, and Izzy kind of suspects it, but she's trying to ignore it, because she feels bad about the whole thing. She (as previously stated) loves Asher, and feels like she's cheated on him with Simon. And we all know Asher felt destroyed when his ex cheated on him.
Isabelle genuinely wants to be friends with Simon, and plus, she doesn't want to suffer through her homework alone. Who would? So she decides to show Simon what Starbucks is, get her homework done, and try to form a friendship with Simon. She honestly wants to become friends. But obviously, she's going to blush when he says she's pretty.
Clary texted Simon behind Isabelle's back. Isabelle whined about school to Jace, who whined about Isabelle whining to Clary, who got an idea. She told Simon that Isabelle needed to relax, so he texted her.
Samantha is a rebound for Asher. Washington Academy is really competitive, and Samantha has been sneakily jealous of Isabelle the entire time (yeah, it's cheesily PLL- what can I say, I'm a cheeseball). So, when Asher is hurting because he thinks Isabelle is cheating on him, Samantha swoops in for the kill.
Stressing this: Isabelle sees the Starbucks trip with Simon as a friendship opportunity, and Simon hopes it a little bit more, but he's trying to hide his feelings just because he thinks Isabelle doesn't feel the same.
I have so many ideas, and I can't figure out which one to choose! Big things coming soon!
