Chapter 10 Interfered

No one's P.O.V

(A/N: Ok, this used to be the last chapter, but since it's one of my older stories, I wanted to make some changes to it)

Everyone of Team Natsu was standing there dumb struck after what happened. Lucy has just kicked Natsu right across the face from behind with her heel after she broke free from Natsu's grip. Natsu fell to his back and sat up, holding his now red cheek, also dumb struck. Lucy was still standing in front of Natsu as she was breathing heavily and staring at him.

"I said I'm staying here!" Lucy said under her breath angrily and with her hair in her face. Natsu then got up.

"But Lucy, you're a member of Fairy Tail! And we're your friends!" said Natsu, still trying to convince Lucy to come back.

Lucy then snapped her head back up. With more anger in her eyes than before, suddenly, she slapped Natsu on the other cheek. Everyone had their mouths hug wide open. After she slapped him, she used her foot to push Natsu in the gut and make him fall onto the ground again.

"I can't believe you can still call yourself my friends! You guys called me weak! Ignored me for months! And said I hide behind my sprits, like a coward! And I'm not a member of Fairy Tail anymore! You guys know that!" Lucy yelled.

By that point, she had tears in her eyes and streaming down her face. After seeing Lucy crying, they all felt guilty and hurt, because they never wanted to hurt her. But, Kagome and the others were all feeling angrier towards Team Natsu. Lucy turned her back to them to avoid talking and seeing them anymore.

"We-we're sorry Lucy. We didn't mean to-" Natsu started to say.

"Just go home." said Lucy still having her back to them and staring at the ground.

"Lucy, please let us explain." said Natsu.

"GO!" Lucy shouted still not wanting to look at them. All of Team Natsu stared at Lucy's back and they were about to say something, but when they were about to, a lot of wind suddenly began to be picked up.

"What the hell?!" said Gray.

"Everyone, look up!" Erza shouted. They all did what she said and they all immediately saw over a dozen demons coming their way.

"Ah crap!" Natsu said.

"It must be Naraku." said Inuyasha.

And just as he said that, multiple demons came out of the group they were in and came closer to them and on the head of one of them, they could see a figure standing on it's head. The figure jumped down and landed in front of the group of people. He was wearing a baboon cloak that covered his face and body.

"Wh-what the?" said Lucy.

"That's Naraku. No doubt about." said Sango. Kagome grabbed one of her bows and pulled it back.

"What are you doing here Naraku!?" Kagome exclaimed. Naraku just smirked at that.

"I think Kagura made that clear enough when she came face to face with you just recently." Naraku said. Lucy's face paled and Miroku and Kilala, after transforming, got in front of her.

"What is he talking about?" Wendy said.

"This guys is after Lucy." Kagome answered.

"What!?" Gray exclaimed.

"No way that's gonna happen!" Erza said. Everyone agreed with her, even everyone in Inuyasha's group.

Lucy's P.O.V

Wait a minute, they're all going to fight for my sake? That means...the reason I came here for...it's gonna be for nothing. I clenched my fists tightly and grit my teeth.

"Why?" I muttered loud enough for everyone to hear on accident.

"Why do I always need to be protected?" I muttered again. I could tell that they all understood what I was talking about.

"Lucy, it's just this once. I mean, this guy is-" Kagome began to say.

"No! No, it's not just this once! This is exactly why I wanted to get away from them! I didn't want anything like this to happen anymore!" I shouted, hiding my eyes with my bangs.

I could feel all of them staring sadly at me even if I can't see them. I was about to look up and say something to them, but suddenly, I felt the ground underneath me give way and felt something grab my leg. Before I could even begin to move away from this spot, I was already being dragged across the ground.

"Lucy!" they all called out.

I tried digging my fingers into the ground, but I still was pulled away from my friends. When I continued being pulled, I felt myself being pulled fast and slowly felt my leg being lifted, I was then launched up into the air after. I immediately felt myself be caught in midair by something that wrapped around my waist and bounding my arms down.

"What the!? What is this!?" I exclaimed.

I looked around and saw my friends and Natsu and the others standing across from where I was and they looked shocked and angry. I looked down at what was holding me and it looked an arm or tentacle of some kind. And it connected to...Ah crap! Naraku! This is probably what dragged me underground for those few seconds.

"Haha. You fools. You didn't even notice, but I had one of my tentacles from my body bring this girl right to me." said Naraku.

"Naraku, you bastard!" shouted Inuyasha. He pulled his sword back and looked he was about to swing it. But wait, an attack aimed at Naraku would also hit me!

"Inuyasha, no! If you attack Naraku, it'll hit Lucy too!" exclaimed Kagome, getting in front of Inuyasha. I sighed in relief, but that ended as I felt myself being lifted up. I then noticed that Naraku floating away from them, along with me!

"If you want this girl back, just head west of here and bring me the jewel shards." said Naraku.

"Inuyasha! Kagome!" I cried out. But before I could call out to them again, everything became black.
