Hey! It's Paw, back with another chapter!

Sorry for such a late update. I got stuck on a writer's block. Like I said last chapter, these past few chapters haven't been my favourite to write. In a few chapters, I have something fun planned, so that will hopefully speed up the updating process... Anyway, sorry for the late update!

Disclaimer: I don't own Winx Club.

Hope you enjoy this chapter. Remember to review at the end!

Enjoy!

Last Chapter:

"Oh my Dragon, I was so worried about you all! We all were, actually." Mirta cried. "Things have been crazy! Where have you been?"

"Long story." I replied quickly. I turned to face the rest of the group.

"Mirta, go inside and prepare a room for the Winx and their friends." Faragonda ordered.

"Umm… Which one?" Mirta questioned.

"The Winx's old dorm will do." Mirta nodded and ran back into the school. "We need to run Flora and Helia to Ofelia's office. Along with this young man." Faragonda said, pointing to the injured Johnny. "Nabu and Riven, I expect you will deal with this?"

"Of course, headmistress." Nabu replied. The two Specialists walked over to Flora and Helia. With a spell cast by Nabu, the two injured floated behind Riven and Nabu who were sprinting into the castle.

"Now, I wish to speak with you all in my office immediately. We must discuss the pressing issue of the war we are in right now." Mrs. Faragonda told us.

With that, we started to walk away from the Alfea shield and into my old home.

Chapter 10: Oh, Dragon

Musa' Song's Point of View

Earth Time: January 25, 2012

We sat in Mrs. Faragonda's office, all scattered around the room. It hadn't changed since we were going to school there, other than there were more chairs to accommodate all of us.

Riven and Nabu had returned from getting Johnny, Flora and Helia into the nurse's office and the kids were in the library with some of the other kids that were taking shelter at Alfea. Other than the three in the nurse's office and the kids, everyone was in Mrs. Faragonda's office.

Our old headmistress sat down at her chair and folded her thin hands together on top of her desk. If it was possible, she looked frailer than before. She looked almost sick.

"Where have you all been the last few months? We were all worrying that you were killed during a fight." Mrs. Faragonda questioned softly after she took a few minutes to look at her old students.

"We were on the run, mostly." Sky answered, see as nobody else from the group was going to answer. He sat beside Clark, her hand in his. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head.

"When we heard that Musa and Riven's house was burnt to the ground, we thought you were all dead for sure, if you weren't before." Mrs. Faragonda said.

"Yeah, we went from Magix Hospital to The Winx Unleashed Studio. We ran out of supplies so we went to our house. Eventually, we were attacked there and we separated into different locations. We met up only a day ago by Tecna and Timmy's cottage." Riven explained. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head and turned to the three healers who all sat beside each other.

"Who are these lovely ladies?" She asked, a small smile on her face.

"My name is Doctor Jolee Clark." Clark said. She let go of Sky's hand and shook Mrs. Faragonda's outstretched one.

"A student of Belle?" She questioned. Clark nodded her head in agreement. "I could tell by your accent." The black haired fairy smiled and retook Sky's hand in her own.

"She is my fiancée." Sky added. Clark smiled wider and looked to Faragonda. Mrs. Faragonda turned to Layla who was looking at her lap as she bit her lip.

"Congratulations." She said slowly. "I'm happy you were able to move on from Bloom, Sky. I never thought you would be able to so soon."

"Ummm… Yeah. Thanks." Sky mumbled, his head drooped with his eyes closed. Honestly, I don't think he moved on from Bloom. I don't think he ever would. She would forever hold a part of his heart. Mrs. Faragonda turned to Dylan. They both smiled at each other.

"Estelle, I'm glad to see that you were able to get a profession in the Magic Dimension without magical powers." Mrs. Faragonda said with a smile. "I'm happy to see you again."

"I'm glad to see you to, Mrs. F." Dylan said. "And thanks… For everything." I didn't understand what was going on, but Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head with a knowing smile. She turned to Young. The pink haired fairy was looking down at her lap as she fiddled with her wedding ring on her finger. Dylan lightly bumped Young in the side, jolting Young from her thoughts.

"Oh!" Young said, realising that Faragonda was now looking at her. "I'm Doctor Alexis Young." The pink haired fairy said. She leaned forward and shook Mrs. Faragonda's hand.

"Of course. You're a decedent from Isis, born and raised on Earth under the watch of Lauren. You were invited to Alfea quite a few years ago, a year after Bloom came if I remember correctly." Mrs. Faragonda said as she looked at the pink haired girl.

I was very surprised to see Young nod her head in agreement. I don't think anyone knew her history, other than Brandon, possibly. I surely didn't. All I knew was that she knew Roxy before all of this.

I was also quite surprised that Mrs. Faragonda knew so much about Young's history. How did she remember so much about all of her students or potential students? I couldn't even remember some information about some of my closest friends.

"Although, I do remember you as Miss Alexis Summer." The headmistress admitted.

"Yeah, I got married since the time that I've last saw you."

"If I remember correctly, you are part of the Royal Guard for Princess Diaspro of Isis." Young nodded her head. Mrs. Faragonda smiled and sat up straighter. "I am happy to let you know that she is, indeed, safe." A small smile spread onto Young's face at this news. "She was visiting Princess Krystal of Linphea and Princess Galatea of Melody here at Alfea when the Battle of Magix Hospital went on. Alfea immediately went into lock down and she has stayed here ever since. Unfortunately, Queen Sapphire and King Jasper were killed on their planet. Princess Diaspro has been wanting to go back to Isis for months now, but I don't feel that it is safe because of all of the civil wars, the random attacks on planets, and some members fighting for Darcy are on each planet causing chaos."

"Oh." Young managed. She slumped back into her chair, her smile gone. "Where is the princess now?"

"I am not too sure, but she will be with Krystal and Galatea." Mrs. Faragonda said. Young nodded her head. "So, to clear the air, you all will be staying in your old dorm room. Mirta is getting it ready."

"Umm, Mrs, I will have to room with Stella." Young said. "Stella isn't fit to have a room to herself. Brandon intrusted me, Helia and Flora to look out for her if he would die. He, unfortunately, did, so I will be sharing a room with her and the twins."

"Oh, that's alright." Mrs. Faragonda agreed. "Musa, Riven, you two will be getting Musa's old room."

"Timmy, Ford and I will share with them too. I feel that it is big enough for both of our families to be together. If that, of course, is alright with Musa and Riven."

"It's cool with me." I said and Riven nodded in agreement.

"Actually, I would like you to room with Flora, Helia and their children in Flora and Bloom's old room. I feel like there is enough people in Musa's family to share that one room. Also, Flora and Helia will need help recovering from their injuries."

"Umm… Alright." Tecna agreed. I was a little sad not to be rooming with her. I had ever since the start of the war, months before then, and then all of my years at Alfea. It would be the first time ever to be sleeping in my old Alfea bedroom without Tecna. It was strange not to be with my best friend.

"Layla, Nabu, Estelle, Sky, Jolee, and the two children will share a room where Layla and Francis used to room together. Francis' whereabouts is unknown, as she isn't at Alfea." Layla nodded with a small frown. "Roxy, along with your daughter and husband, Alexis and Stella, along with her two children, will be rooming with Mirta in Stella's old room. She is married to an Earth man named Nate, who is here with them, and they have one daughter. Her name is Lucy."

"Sure." Young agreed. "Someone will have to point me there though."

"No worries, Lex." Roxy agreed. "I think I know where that is."

"Alright, is everyone okay with their rooms?" Mrs. Faragonda asked. We all nodded our heads in agreement. "Good. Now it's time to get down to serious business. We need to discuss the war."

"What about it?" Riven questioned. Mrs. Faragonda leaned back in her chair.

"I have people out in the worlds, looking for information. Luckily, Saladin, Griffin and I have been able to keep up to date on most things." Mrs. Faragonda started. "First off is, Darcy is behind the war."

"Yeah." Nabu muttered with a frown. I could tell he had enough of her and he had only battled her for one year in his school days, while we had battled him three times.

"Most governments have been killed, but nothing more has come from it. Darcy isn't starting this war for power in the government. If that were the case, she would have a lot of the planets by now. Domino, Eraklyon, Isis, Liphea, Melody, Zenith… most places' rulers and royalty were murdered or kidnapped. We still don't know what she is after for this war. It must be pretty important if she is going through all of this trouble to get it."

"She is destroying all of the worlds that could only benefit her. She will die if she keeps this up. If not from an attack, from starvation. Food is bound to run out." Riven pointed out.

"All public speakers, artists, writers, anyone that can get mass media out are being hunted down and either being murdered of kidnaped. She doesn't want peoples' opinions to be influenced by them. In many other cases of war, the media is destroyed only to be built up again by the one person who destroyed it. It's built up to get their opinions out to the people in hopes to influence their opinions. It's used for propaganda, in other terms. No sign of that yet."

"It sounds like she is out for destruction. She doesn't care about food or money or… control, surprisingly. She wants deaths." Tecna concluded. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head in agreement.

"Like I said before, we all thought the Winx Club was dead. The last we heard of you all was when you were admitted into the hospital because of your suspicious episodes. Then a massive battle that killed hundreds of people broke out and you were never heard of again. Your studio was burned to the ground, along with Musa and Riven's house, but you were never found. You were all dead in the public's eye." Mrs. Faragonda frowned even more. "A younger generation of fairies bound together, they were trying to be the next Winx Club in hopes of destroying the enemy and bringing hope. It did the opposite, actually. I believe you knew a lot of them."

"Who?" I asked, already dreading the names that were to come.

"Alice, Clarice, Rhea, Scylla, Arion and Harmonia. They were murdered while trying to free some old students and residence of Magix being held captive by Cold Spirits in Magix City."

"Oh my gods." Roxy muttered. Mrs. Faragonda looked down and took a deep breath.

"Very unfortunate, but they knew the risk they were taking." She sighed. Pain was in her eyes. It was obvious that she still didn't except their deaths.

"Mrs. Faragonda!" Krystal burst through the doors, her eyes wide. "I'm sorry for interrupting, but Flora has woken. Diaspro is with her right now."

"Really!" Young sprung up from her chair. "I need to speak with the princess. If you would excuse me." She didn't wait for anyone to say anything else; she was already out the door with Krystal behind her.

"Since Krystal possesses healing magic, she has been working with Ofelia closely with healing any injured people." Mrs. Faragonda explained. "Mostly, the injured are coming from inside the grounds from small accidents; slips, falls, sicknesses, and the like wise. Other times, fairies make their way to Alfea and get injured on the way here. They are always busy in the nurse's office, so Diaspro usually hangs around there encase something happens that she can help with. Not much else is going on around here."

"What do you mean?" Layla questioned.

"It's quiet around here. Occasionally, a group of old students will show up. That's about it. We haven't been attacked yet, not since August 3, last year."

"You were attacked then?" Timmy asked. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head.

"The same day most chaos broke out across the Magic Dimension. Cold Spirits were everywhere, brain washed witches, fairies and heroes were attacking things and death was everywhere. More people were killed or went missing on that day than the five months since."

"Why doesn't the Great Dragon come down to the Magic Dimension and end this!?" Riven snarled.

"What I don't understand is why a new Nymph of Magix isn't being introduced." Tecna said.

"There has been nine nymphs as to date, Daphne being the last." Mrs. Faragonda pointed out. "Before Daphne was given the title, it was Mariam and before Mariam was her mother. Bloom was the next Nymph of Magix, but she passed on before her powers were fully mature. Since her daughter also passed, I believe that the Dragon Flame has been extinguished." Sky abruptly stood up and pushed his way out of the room without another word.

"Sky!?" Clark shouted. "Sorry. Please excuse me." She was out of her chair and chasing after Sky.

"Oh, goodness, I should have thought before I mentioned Bloom and Lio." Mrs. Faragonda mused. "My apologies."

"She does have son, still. Could Legend possess the powers of the Dragon Flame?" I asked. Mrs. Faragonda shrugged.

"It's hard to tell. In legend, when the first Nymph of Magix had a son, the Dragon Flame skipped him entirely. The first Nymph of Magix died very young with only a son. The Dragon Flame appeared when the son had a daughter whom ended up being the second Nymph of Magix."

"So, you think that the Dragon Flame will skip over Legend?" Layla asked. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head sadly. "That's crap."

"And it also means that there isn't a Nymph of Magix right now." Tecna concluded. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head once again.

"That still doesn't explain why the Great Dragon doesn't come down and end Darcy."

"The Great Dragon works out of the Nymph of Magix. He is still regaining his full power from creating the entire Magic Dimension. He was born with immense amount of power which was all used to create our worlds. Over the years, his power comes back to him slowly. The fairies that are blessed with the Dragon Flame are Guardians of that power and the Great Dragon, since they are assumed to be the next Nymph of Magix. Since he doesn't have his full power gained and no representative as a Nymph of Magix, he is inactive."

"I don't understand! Darcy is destroying everything he has created. Why would he stand for this?"

"There are some things that he cannot change. All powers are created in the black void along with an opposite. The Dragon Flame has many opposites; one being the Shadow Phoenix and another being the Water Stars, both you have encountered."

"I have a headache." Nabu muttered as he rubbed his head.

"But…" Mrs. Faragonda thought for a little while before she continued. "There is one power that is similar to the Dragon Fire, most opposite to the Water Stars. These four powers are tightly linked together."

"Which is…?"

"Liquid Fire." Mrs. Faragonda answered. "Liquid Fire is the elemental opposite of the Water Stars and in close relation to the Dragon Flame and Shadow Fire, I assume."

"What is it?"

"Liquid Fire is a clear liquid substance that creates heat and can be transformed into anything. Not much is documented about it, only that it resided in two people from the beginning of time; both from Solaria." Mrs. Faragonda said.

"Is it possible the twins have that power then?" Roxy asked. Mrs. Faragonda shrugged.

"Highly doubtful. Brandon was a citizen of Eraklyon, not Solaria. Stella didn't have this power, so I'm afraid the twins won't possess this power due to dilution over time."

"Oh." Roxy mumbled.

"Anyway, enough history." Mrs. Faragonda said. "Is there any other matter you would like to discuss?"

"No, I don't think so." Riven said.

"Umm… Actually, I have a question." Layla spoke up. Mrs. Faragonda nodded her head. "What is the Alfea shield made of… I mean, what will it hold against?"

"It's the same one that was used when you were in your third year, with improvements thanks to Tecna." Mrs. Faragonda said with a smile shared with the purple haired fairy. "If the shield were to weaken or break, we have a group of volunteers that watch over the school and the boundaries at night, including the shield. If there was an attack, the group will inform the school and the shield will hold off until it is either strengthened by someone or until we are ready for an attack."

"Oh, alright." Layla nodded.

"Speaking of being ready for an attack, there has been a room built to protect those that can't fight, such as children or the injured. It was built in collaboration with the other schools and is state of the art. In circumstances that it does need to be used, a staircase leads to it through the janitor's closet under the main staircase."

"Sounds good." Riven nodded.

"Lunch is in an hour, with dinner at five." Mrs. Faragonda said as she got out of her chair. As she walked to the door, we all stood up. "It's good to have you back."

"It's good to be back, Mrs. Faragonda." Dylan said with a wide smile.

I couldn't agree more.

And there is this chapter. A little longer than last chapter, coming in at just over 3, 000 words.

Sorry again for the long wait!

I hope you liked the little history in this chapter. I had to spend quite a bit of time reading up on the history of the Water Stars and the Dragon Flame since I forgot what the show said. Still, I might have got some information wrong, especially when applying it to my storyline. It can get confusing at times!

Please review! I have the next chapter in the planning stages, along with the next few after that. They should come quicker than this chapter did, hopefully!

Question:

Who is your favourite character to hear from so far?

a) Musa?

b) Sky?

c) Layla?

d) Roxy?

e) Brandon?

f) Flora?

Which of these people did you like to read their point of view from, and would you like to read from them again in the near future (with the exception of Brandon)?

Hope you guys checked out my other Winx story "The Obvious Wishes!" If you didn't, it's still in progress, so go check it out now! Next chapter should be up soon!

Please review! I love to hear thoughts of my readers, so review away. I also love constructive criticism!

Thanks for reading & don't forget to review,

Paw
